This is the WORST location I've ever been to! The girl with the facial piercing, Faith according to the receipt, was so rude I felt like I was inconveniencing her at HER JOB just by being there. There were no forks in my bag of two meals, so I asked for some. When she brought them back, she practically threw them at me. Not once did she say thank you or come back or anything friendly. Then my one request of no gravy didn't even get followed. I had to take the potatoes back inside and she came up to the counter and legitimately said "what". When I asked for the manager, an older gentleman came out to the counter and offered no real apology, so I asked for the district manager's name, and he gave me their franchise owner's name. He took my information to pass along (assuming they're not allowed to give out his), so hopefully I'll get a call back if the guy cares about his reputation at all. But they seriously need to learn what being in the service industry means because tonight wasn't it. She was so freaking rude. I've been a server, so I go out of my way to be nice to everyone in this industry, but she was just horrid. Total waste of my $16.64 because the food wasn't even fresh except for the corn nuggets. read more

Don't waste your money here. We just picked up food from them tonight for the first time since Covid19 started. They have cut their French fry and fried okra portions to less than half what they used to be. The amount they gave us was a joke. The chicken was also under cooked and not crispy at all. Came out to my car to get order, courteous staff and rec'd food in a reasonable amount of time. The chicken tenders were fresh, hot, and juicy. The fries were nice and crunchy, but the mashed potatoes were excellent! The best I've had in a chicken restaurant. The restrooms were clean as well. read more

This is by far the worst chicken place I have ever eaten at. First off the chicken strips were soggy and flavorless. It was like eating freezer burned chicken dipped in flour with no spices. The mashed potatoes and gravy tasted the way old dishwater smells. It was gross on all levels. The mac and cheese was runny and had no cheese flavor. It definately came from a bag or can that was then diluted with water. I don't normally write reviews but this place was that bad. Save your money and go anyplace else. read more

Bug in my food!! We have eaten at this location for years. Several months ago, they forgot to return my credit card to me with the food. Unfortunately I did not realize until I got home; then had to drive back. No apology from the manager on duty and I ate a cold dinner because of the additional drive time. The worst was this past Wednesday evening though. The chicken strips were thinner than normal so I torn it apart with my hands to find a bug perfectly imbedded in the strip. When we returned the meal to the restaurant pointing out the bug, they did not offer to refund or give me another meal. The manager apologized and said that she would let her general manager know. I wasn't intending to get money back however they could have offered to give me a fresh meal to replace the other. After all, I did not eat the whole meal because of the experience. I would not have eaten it regardless. We will never eat there again! read more

Chicken is good. Customer service was great and prompt. I stopped by for a two piece meal. Eating area is kept clean.

I stopped for the Tuesday deal. I ordered right at 10 o'clock when they were closing. They stayed open for an extra five minutes for me. However, when they brought the food I discovered my billfold was missing. I told them I would bring the money the next day. The next day I went in to pay and the manager would not take my money and said the meal was on them. Thank you ever so much. By the way their chicken strips are terrific. WOW!!! read more

The bushes on Williams drive had several employees at drive through window look at us including a man maybe a mgr but never came to take our order or let us know they will be with us. Once they all looked at us and still didn't come out we drove off. Terrible service read more

Chicken Livers are pretty darn delicious -- and they give you a TON. Mashed potatoes are also really good, but I would pass on the Mac'n cheese. read more

Great chicken. But sometimes it's a hit or miss crunchy or greasy but the chicken is pretty good and don't forget the sweet tea! Go there every other day for a gallon. I really wish they would change there biscuits because I really don't see these as a biscuit other than that I do recommend their chicken and if you eat inside you really got to check out the hand car wash. Chicken is good but things have changed at this location the last few months. I have ordered the 3 piece meal, all dark meat and added 2-3 more pieces of dark meat with it or I have ordered the 8-10 piece, all dark. Every time I am told this is a special order and will have to wait 10-15 mins or even 25 mins before its ready! Never had this happen on previous visits! When I ask if they have dark meat chicken ready, I am told yes but because I want all dark meat I have to wait! No, I am here now ordering and paying for my order and I shouldn't have to wait just because you don't want to give me what is ready to serve or haven't cooked enough dark meat! Those that haven't ordered yet will have to wait, not a paying customer. Once this happened on a Sunday at 11:30 am. I know a lot of people leave church and go eat fried chicken on Sundays. If you don't have enough chicken ready, that's the business fault, not mine! A lot of people don't like white meat, just like there are a lot of people that don't like dark meat. read more

Service was fairly good, but that is about all. Chicken is so breaded and breading is so thick, that if I had eaten the breading I would get sick. Seriously! The potatoes are definitely instant, and are absolutely horrible tasting. The coleslaw was so thick I could not possibly get it down. I am not a picky eater at all, but this was a totally unacceptable meal. It was very, very unhealthy as well, all fat! Personally I think this is the worst restaurant in town. It used to just a little better, from the standpoint that the coleslaw was nice and llight and healthier. They also used to have a better kind of biscuit they gave you, but now it is also very unhealthy. Sugary! . I would far rather see the prices raised and receive better food! But, I think the trouble is that several chicken places have now opened near Wolfe Ranch that are newer and better. I did not however, wish to drive clear over there, but next time I will! Stopped in on Wed. 30th at 3:20 PM and the food is good. I still think Golden Chick is the best fried chicken locally. The lobby was clean and so were bathrooms. What makes me give this location 1 star is the fact that i only saw two people actually working. The cook in the back frying chicken and the girl who was wiping tables and windows and sweeping the floors. I saw 3 women just leaning on the counter where MY food was being boxed up. Not a good example to set and not sanitary leaning on the counter where customers food is being boxed. read more

The chicken was very good, and the service was fast and friendly and the store was clean, but the sides have a lot to be desired. The mash potatoes taste like they are from an instant mix, and the coleslaw was inedible. I'd likely come again bit only for the chicken. read more

We mostly buy to go. Friday evening, a server named Nathan took our order, including THREE Tender Rolls. We got home with only two. This is the third time we have gotten orders incorrectly filled, every time short of something. I would think counting the three rolls would be something a child could do. After our third bad experience, we are going elsewhere. Maybe management can emphasize the importance of correctly filling orders. read more

We live in Round Rock and always have a good experience. However, today we went to the Georgetown location for gizzards today because it is down the street from where I work. The Gizzards are good, but the gravy is horrible. You can tell it has been watered down. When you dip into it, it runs right off and you cannot tell you just dipped into gravy. It is also extremely tasteless. I am disappointed and hope that the round rock location hasn't watered down its gravy as well. If this is the case, we can go back to paying higher prices at Golden chick where the gravy and chicken have stayed a consistently good quality.** ****************I did speak with a Manager and I will raise to 3 stars just for effort. We went to Bushs a couple of days ago and ordered chicken tenders, while waiting for the order I noticed the guy behind the counter scratch his head and rub his face. He then went to get my food and I said to the manager he's has to wash his hands before touching my food so the manager told him to do so. Then the manager told me that they don't need to wash there hands all the time and they are not violating the health code. If that is a fact we will not be going back! read more

Horrible service! Actually, I didn't receive service at all. I pulled up behind 2 cars, two different guys came out and waited on those cars. Why waiting, another car pulled up behind me. After both of the other cars receives their orders and left. There was a little girl that walked right in front of my car to help that car that pulled in after me. This girl took his order, brought him his order, and processed his payment, making that 3 times she had to walk in front of my car. During that time, 2 guy came to the glass door, looked out, and then turned back around. So the other car drove off with his order leaving me the ONLY car out there and still no one came back out to take my order. I drive a large black SUV. You couldn't miss me.
