I ordered the two chicken finger kids meal, which also came with fries and a kid size beverage. There is another chicken place in town that I go to. Any chance I get because I just thoroughly enjoy their chicken. I have to say that Lainey's chicken fingers were juicy, crunchy, hot and overall delicious!! I was duly impressed. And the french fries were also definitely a step above most french fries at restaurants in our area. I don't know if it was because they were crinkle cut, or maybe they were freshly fried, but they were lightly salted and hot and delicious. HK also enjoyed her meal. She actually ended up eating it for lunch and supper that day. She also was very impressed with the flavor, the coating and the way the chicken was fried. She complemented them on the milkshake as well. Evidently it was nice and thick and that's the way she likes her milkshakes so it was right up her alley. When the waitress brought out the bottled water, I asked whether it was free. She simply said, "No," so we asked for tap water instead. She gave us cups, but then told us the restaurant did not have tap water. I explained that if the bottled water was not complimentary, I did not want to pay for something that most restaurants provide for free, it's the principle, all restaurants will at least have tap water. We decided to keep only one bottle, and it turned out that the first bottle was complimentary after all.
