It sells a variety of dry and sweet wines (e.g., red, white, rose, sparkling, and cider), cocktails, mocktails, and beers. Some vineyards are on the grounds as are many barrels and bottles of wines. The restaurant has both indoor seating and seasonal outdoor seating in lakeside cabanas and winter igloos. It is open for brunch/lunch and dinner. It is a nice setting for daily dining as well as special events such as weddings, bridal and baby showers, and private parties. Furthermore, the website lists activities such as bingo, painting and candle-making classes, live music with dancing, and more. For my husband and me, I made a reservation for lunch in an igloo. Our igloo was large enough to fit eight people and cost $50 plus foods and drinks. A larger "party dome" fits up to 14 people and has a fee of $75. The temperatures outside were very cold, but our igloo was kept warm by an electric fireplace and a zippered door. Throughout our meal, our waitress provided timely and friendly service. The Bistro menu listed shareables (e.g., pretzel sticks and charcuterie board), several smash burgers, several flatbreads, mains (e.g., fish and chips, cajun chicken pasta, and quinoa bowl), several salads, several handhelds (e.g., turkey melt, veggie wrap, and Italian panini), many sides, and a couple of desserts. Prices were moderate. (The menus for Sunday Brunch and a group Gathering differ.) The waitress first brought our Sweet Wine-Cookie Flight (4.5 stars), which consisted of the following pairs: Diamond Reo with Brown Sugar Pop Tart, Sweet Finley with Chocolate Salted Caramel, Riesling with Cookies and Cream, and Rose Cider with Strawberry Crunch. The wine glasses came in a wooden box, which was slightly too small, so I needed several minutes of time to carefully pull each wine glass out of the box. I, however, did enjoy the sweet flavors of the wines and cookies. Next our waitress brought out our shareable and two mains. The Hummus Plate (4.5 stars) consisted of fresh and tasty hummus, feta, olives, top seedz crackers, tomatoes, cucumbers, green and red peppers, carrots, celery, and tzatziki. My main course was Crab Cakes (4 stars) with a substituted side of salad. Two crab cakes were a decent size of 4 ounces each, but I would have preferred more crab meat. I liked the garlic aioli. My husband's main course was the Cali Burger (4 stars) with a side of fries. In a brioche bun, a beef patty was topped with fontina cheese, applewood-smoked bacon (which he would prefer be crispier), avocado, avocado ranch, lettuce, and pickles (which he commented were nicely crunchy and sweet-sour) (no tomato at his request). The total price for the flight, shareable, two mains, and a soda was $98 plus sales tax and tip (plus the earlier $50 fee for the igloo).

I chose to sit at the bar since I was there on my own. My server was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. She shared information about the winery and some of the most popular wine and food items. After sampling several, I settled on a glass of the playhouse red blend and one of their specials - a grilled cheese and tomato bisque. The soup was creamy and delicious and the grilled cheese comfort food perfection. Food came out fairly quickly and my server was attentive to my needs without being pushy. I really enjoyed my experience here and will definitely be back, hopefully for one of their events or maybe a visit in their fun looking igloos.

Noiret was good. Old Vine Zinfandel was super dry and wasn't a fan of it. The Marquette is a wine that I do not sample often . It was fabulous. Aged in bourbon barrels for two years. She asked if I like bourbon and said yes. She said you will like this. She was right . Dry but a good taste towards the end. My two things that I dislike. The white wine isn't chilled. They provide you ice if you prefer. Ice waters up the wine and takes the taste away. The Marquette I purchased a bottle if and it's great. But it's $38 a bottle and around here that doesn't fly. One of my favorite things at Greenhouse is the Wine Slushie, but unfortunately, the day I was there the machine was down. Not to worry, they have tons of tasty options. I ordered the combo wine (I forget what they call it) where they pair some of their pepper wine with their sweet wine. It is absolutely delicious because the sweetness of the paired wine cuts down some of the hit of the hot one. It was a bit expensive at $10 a glass, but I guess since it was two wines it was more expensive than the other glasses. The store itself is nicely set up. There are more comfortable couches and chairs and then in the back of the store more traditional tables and chairs. They have a variety of wine themed gifts to purchase. A little of everything from toppers, bags, glasses, towels and even some shirts. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and genuinely seemed happy to be there. They offer your typical PA wine from concordia, fredonia and niagara grapes, and they also have unique wines that are seasonal and specialty wines again with very cute names and labels. Great as gifts! My faves so far are the sauced (cranberry wine), tramp n the weeds, and the chocolate cherry. Their fruit wines are on point with the real fruit flavor that it's like drinking fruit juice. Could be dangerous. I highly recommend supporting this local winery. There is a sign for the winery at the end of the road and you enter up a long driveway (with several signs warning about not bringing in outside food and drink). I had no idea that their grounds were as massive as they were! There was even a sign for a walking trail. I visited on a Monday in the winter, so I wasn't able to take advantage of their beautiful grounds, but after a great visit, I definitely want to come back in warmer weather and come for one of their events (or even just to enjoy some wine outdoors). They have a nice variety of wines. Many sweet, dry and fruit wines. They also have cocktails and other drinks. I like that more of the specialty establishments are starting to have extended offerings because it makes visiting more accessible to people who might not like wine or beer but still want to enjoy the company of someone who does or a specific event. I went in set on getting a wine slushie (they rotate their flavors, but every one I've tried has been delicious). They allow you to sample basically anything from their menu and you can order wine by the glass, bottle or as tasting flights. When I was there, they were still offering their Valentine's pairing which included four generous pours of red wines each paired with a gourmet chocolate. I really enjoyed the experience and everything was tasty. The service was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I asked questions about the wines, where the grapes are grown, how they come up with new blends and about events and they answered all of them.
