They also had a display of freshly baked goods at the front, so we picked up a few treats to take on the road. Those were just as amazing as our meal! The staff was incredibly welcoming and sweet, and I loved all the thoughtful little touches throughout the restaurant. One of my favorites was the guestbook they invite visitors to sign before leaving. It's details like that that make a place feel extra special. In addition, she found a nice strand of hair in her food. Lovely.... We both had the Jagerschnitzel as both of us had had it several times before. The Jagerschnitzel did not taste right and my wife said her water tasted like it came out of a hose. Our inattentive waitress (brown hair with glasses BTW) was by far the worst server we've ever had here. All other tables seemed to be served before us, checked on regularly, and have much better wait staff than we had. Upon asking for our bill we assumed she would at least notice the big glob of sour cream on the plate that my wife had to scrape off and realize that she had forgot to tell them not to include it, but no. We paid our bill and ran for the door. As far as the ambiance goes, the restaurant is really nice but we had flies around us as we were trying to eat our meal. Not exactly the upscale experience you would hope for. Based on our other two visits I would say this is not typical but I feel we need to give this review because someone needs to know how terrible our experience was there today, 7/11/26.
