I had ordered food a few days ago, and the reason for my low review lies in the prices. I ordered 2 burgers with 2 orders of waffle fries and paid $32 (total after tax), yet did not receive food that can justify that value. The burgers tasted good, however are rather small for being a $9 burger. Furthermore, to add a second party costs $4. That's insane. And those prices do not include fries. The waffle fries are $5. For this price, I expected a large basket worth sharing. The small box they come in is equivalent to getting a small order of waffle fries from Chic-fil-A, which taste the same as BustOuts fries. Additionally, a large order of waffle fries from Chic-fil-A costs $3.09! The food we had at BustOuts tastes good, but the quantity and overall quantity do not meet the price point they charge. I can get a loaded and tasty burger from SmashBurger for less than what BustOuts would charge. BustOuts charges like they are making gourmet burgers, and they are not. Burger Bull just down the street on Elston makes EXCEPTIONAL artisan burgers for $7! Until BustOuts adjusts their prices, I cannot continue to give them my business. I want them to succeed, but this overpricing is unsustainable. I believe after they do this, they can become a great staple for the Albany Park/Jefferson Park communities. read more

The staff explained the menu and the choices. I had the regular cheeseburger with everything. It was cooked perfectly, the waffle fries are great, the burger is wonderful. The is no fountain service. The pop and iced tea in the coolers is extensive. Nice interior, clean and neat, sports decor, nice. The owners are a husband and wife team, attentive to the customer, after you order at the counter, they will bring your order to you. I will surely eat there again. read more

Food was great, had a unique kick to it. I had the loop burger and it was bursting with flavor, it was very good. My daughter had a crispy chicken sandwich with the garlic aioli sauce and she loved it. We also ordered the garlic cheese curds, which were incredible, no wonder they are the most popular appetizer! This place is really good! I had the yellow line burger on angus beef & my partner had the Italian sausage and beef combo dipped with peppers ( it was way better than Portillos! Dare I say !) the service was amazing! The cashier ( not sure if he's the owner ) but very friendly & liked to engage with the customers & gets to know them & he seems like real chill friendly guy. He was the same way with us & with the other 3 tables that were here . The ambiance is really chill laid back vibe . If I'm ever out in the area, I KNOW where to go for a good burger !!! read more

I will update my review after trying a couple more things but want to offer a bit of advice on the Italian beef. I'm pretty sure they use the same type of Turano French bread that comes in multi packs at the grocery store. I'm sure they have a better shelf life than the kind that comes fresh from the bakery in long paper bags but the later make a huge difference in texture. The beef itself was most likely a brought in product, not a bad thing necessarily, I thought the flavor of the beef and aus jus was fine. I think they should consider offering some sort of combo deal as well with fries and a drink: if one were to order those additions the most inexpensive option is $4.25 for plain waffle fries and $3.00 for a fountain pop. Add that to a relatively small $11 Italian Beef with cheese and you're walking out more than a pair of sawbucks. It seems like.burgers and chicken sandwiches may be a little more their specialty so I will try those in the future. I want to see a place succeed in this spot. I hope the owner considers my commentary. read more

I really like their food, but have issues with their packaging and price. They put everything in these boxes which is unnecessary and damaging to the food. Fried foods steam in the box and lose and the crunch. Even more, they still use these boxes when dining in. I'd rather have wax paper and lower prices than soggy food in "fancy" boxes. We had a delivery for a small party where I wanted to show off my new neighborhood find to possible future customers, but they all tore me apart for suggesting a place that serves soggy buns and fries, all due to those dang boxes. read more

Burger is definitely good (cheese options are limited). I agree with a previous review that said "it's a bit over priced" (that's why Im giving it 4 stars). When I told my colleagues it was overpriced, their response was "but was it good?" So, yes, it's over priced, but I rather pay more for a "good (if not great) burger than a "reasonably" priced ok burger. Plus, the owners are really cool which makes the experience all worthwhile. Give it a try, I bet you'll keep coming back. read more

The food is really good for what it is and the staff is very accommodating, fun and polite. I always love when restaurants know what they're good at and doesn't try to do too much. My kids love it and everyone is good at dealing with their toddler BS :) It isn't fast though, so just go in knowing that and you'll have a good experience read more

Never really heard of this place before (I'm not local) but am staying in the neighborhood so checked it out for lunch. I travel for work so eat out 17ish days a month all over the place. I also love cooking when I'm home and put a lot of effort into and take pride in my burgers. If I were to open a burger place I'd strive to do it just like this place. Lots of attention to detail. The roll is fresh and perfectly toasted. Patty is obviously fresh 80/20 beef. The tomato is thick sliced and not over ripe, not under ripe. Fresh onion, lettuce. I got the Green Line burger which comes with avocado and ghost pepper cheese. My expectation was a smear of smashed avocado on the bun like most places would do. It was topped with thick slices (again, perfect ripeness) that was very prominent in every bite. And "ghost pepper cheese" isn't just flashy words on their menu. You definitely know that it's in fact ghost pepper cheese. Very distinct. The burger was perfectly constructed....veggies were single slice and fit the dimensions of burger perfectly so that avocado and tomato weren't squirting out with every bite. I mean....it's just a burger.....but when every little element has been given so much consideration and attention then you have something special. If you don't like the prices.....go somewhere else and spend a couple bucks less on something average. I think it might be the best burger I've ever had. read more

Food was really good! Got the red and purple line. Super tasty and the fried chicken patty didn't make me feel gross, as many fried chickens patties do lol. The owners were also very nice and helpful. As a plus, they also sell Peace Tea, so that's an automatic 5/5 for me! Jokes aside, I really recommend this place. Burger was okay, nothing special, edible. The sides were a huge disappointment. Not only were they of a small proportion, but waffle fries, sweet potato fries and mushrooms were soggy. The mushrooms tasted like regular frozen offerings from a grocery store. Truly Blazin Grill is the best local burger place. read more
