Nevertheless their varietals are outstanding b/c they have so many different kinds--each with its own distinctive flavor. They also carry lip balm, loose tea, and candles. I ordered recently about 5 honeys. They shipped it so fast it arrived in only 3 days from NM in perfect condition with sufficient packing...and they ship to P.O. boxes with no breakage. Folks, it does not get any better than THIS PLACE if you want excellent raw honey!

Texture and taste are perfect. Wish I had her recipe since she does a better cookie than any of my relatives. Owner is also really flexible, went out of her way to meet me after hours and sell me what few cookies she had left. We ate them slowly, with happy noises.

I had to mail some things from the Post Office and there it was! They just opened for the day. She had a display of the days offerings. Not as big as the ones in Albuquerque, but very tasty and great looking. The day's offering were: Blue Berry Cheesecake, Fruity Pebbles, and a Chocolate Covered Marshmallow, this one looked heavenly. Cupcakes were $2.50 each or 6 for $12. I forgot to note the dozen price. We got 6 to go. There is a place to sit and enjoy your treat. My daughter said that would be perfect for her and her friends to come, sit and enjoy. This place is a little hidden, at least to me. If I had not parked where I did for the Post Office we would not have spotted it. While there we checked out her custom order cakes. Very creative! A very pleasant bartender seated my wife, our young puppy, and me on their very nice patio, and brought the pup a bowl of water without being asked, which we always appreciate. I ordered an IPA and my wife got a stout, as February is stout month at craft breweries all around the country. Both of us thought our beers were delicious and well balanced. To our surprise, there were ashtrays on several of the tables on the patio, and a man was smoking a cigar a few tables from us (smoking is banned inside and out at all business establishments in Colorado). The piped-in music was rather eclectic - everything from 70s classic rock to Shakira to modern auto-tuned pop. We had just had lunch in Hatch, so did not try the food. We have decided that we will spend the night in Socorro on an upcoming trip to see my dad, as the town looks like a lot of fun and we really want to try the other local brewpubs.

It's supposed to have bacon, but I couldn't really see or taste any. I liked the combo of shredded Gouda, green chile, tomato relish, and beer mustard. The poppy seed bun was also a nice touch. We also shared a 12 inch Supreme Pizza ($14.50) with olives, sausage, green chile, mushrooms, and pepperoni. I liked the thin crust. I also ordered the Birds of a Feather cocktail ($13) which had dark aged rum, Aperol, pineapple juice, lime, and simple syrup. I asked for a splash of Prosecco to make it sparkling, and it was indeed refreshing. They also have a pool table ($1 per rack) and a dog-friendly outdoor patio, which I always like to see. There's also plenty of board games to borrow. The only downside was that the bathrooms could use a little cleaning and updating. After wandering around the enchanting plaza from the Spanish colonial period, with its very informative displays of local political history (on the north side) and local military history and tributes to fallen heroes (on the south side) we popped our heads into Baca House Brewery but were told they weren't serving alcohol that day, so we went to Box Canyon Brewing and asked if they were dog friendly. Their answer was "if your dog is friendly, we are dog friendly." So we say down and ordered a pint, and several customers came over to pet our then-6 month old husky mix pup. We each ordered a sandwich (I don't remember the specifics) and got a plain unseasoned hot dog without a roll for the doggo. The staff was very pleasant, and the customers were friendly and chatty. They had some very funny signs on the walls that made my wife and me laugh. We will happily return when staying overnight or passing through Socorro again.
