They have the good bagels!! The best bagels in NB! The supplier is the best in my opinion! Service is always amazing! Always clean and modern vibes. So happy they are downtown NB! Some of the best European pastries also!!

Great coffee and service. Pastries available Cute sit in area. Coffee flavors galore Ordered a salted caramel cold brew coffee with cold foam. Not sure if the ice was forgotten, or if that's how it's served

Fresh, clean and delicious! All my favorite things. The brand new Busy Bean in Berlin made the best breakfast! I walked in to nice clean sleek cafe that was air conditioned and the aromas of coffee and fresh baked goods filled the atmosphere. I went with my niece to grab a coffee and breakfast to catch up. We wanted to try everything! But we settled for a few different sharing options which were sweet and savory goodness. The bagels were a must try because they bake them fresh daily so we got the everything bagel with a scallion cream cheese. The bagel was crispy and chewy and the scallion cream cheese was just right. Next we shared the breakfast burrito. It was filled with eggs, bacon, cheddar cheese and a hash brown, which fulfilled my savory taste buds perfectly. And last but not least was my ultimate favorite, the lemon ricotta toast with fresh blueberries and drizzled honey. The lemon zest on top made it so fresh and the combination of flavors was an amazing summer treat! I also added a large black americano coffee that was nice and bold and steam was coming out of the cup with freshness. We cozied ourselves in a little nook by the outdoor patio windows and enjoyed every single bite. Thank you Busy Bean for a great start to my day and for a great little cafe to enjoy!

Anyplace that opens on a major holiday earns my respect and at least a star to begin with. With this being Easter Sunday, and with me having some time to kill between church and dinner at a relative's house, I was thrilled to find that Cafe Busy Bean was indeed open. Upon arrival, I noted several of the tables were occupied; and, nobody seemed to be waiting for food or coffee. Needless to say, my order was immediately taken by one of the two cheerful counter workers. My choice? A small house coffee and an egg with sausage and cheese on an asiago bagel. With my coffee in hand, I took a seat at one of the small short tables, reminiscent one that you would have in your living room, next to your couch. In fact, the atmosphere gave me a comfortable, "living room" vibe, over all; but, I didn't have long to soak it all in, because my sandwich was ready in less than five minutes. So, on the scale I use to judge coffee quality, which begins on one end with the orange "working man's" logo brand (my favorite) and ends with the green "urban sophisticate" logo (you can have it) the Busy Bean house blend fell just about in the middle, being overall smooth, but with a hint of raspiness, at the bottom of the cup. The sandwich was flavorful, but somewhat under stated, with a mild breakfast style sausage patty, two fried eggs, and, of course, cheese. Each flavor was distinct, but rather muted. Sadly, the sandwich could have benefitted from a little butter; whereas, I found to be a bit dry. At just under ten bucks, excluding tip, the priceof this fair meal was actually more than fair.

I went to Cafe Busy Bean because another establishment I tried going to was closed in the area. Cafe Busy Bean is a small coffee shop in Berlin. There are a few tables outside, and some comfy chairs inside. They have some very large black and white prints as decor. When I went to select a flavor for my latte, it took me a while, the list of flavors was unlike anything I've seen before. There was popcorn to watermelon, and everything in between. I went with banana mocha. They have bagels, cakes, muffins and more. I got a cup of their Parfait. This is a pretty big cup of yogurt, strawberry jam, chia seeds, blueberries, granola, raisins and honey. My latte was a "small", but it was massive. It was served in a proper mug, and beautifully decorated! And was it tasty! Yum! I could taste the banana and the rich mocha! The Parfait was also very tasty. It was sweet and freshly made, an excellent counterpart to my latte. I was very pleased with my experience at Cafe Busy Bean. I will return here again when I'm in the area.

Finally got here and will be back. Cute little place super helpful and friendly staff. Coffee pressed and made to order. Over 70, yes 70 flavors to choose from. I chose basic pumpkin cuz I was tryna feel fall vibes in this heat. They offer milk, cream, oat milk, and almond milk as well as decaf. There are a decent variety of very fresh bagels with different toppings. As well as breakfast sandwich offerings, coffee cakes, muffins, cookies, cakes..... yeah... yum! We ordered pumpkin, hazelnut, vanilla coffees and bagels. The bacon scallion cream cheese is really good. The strawberry was light and very good also. The coffee cake was thick and the topping was no joke. Very good. Choc muffin will be tried later. Tables and chairs as well as some coffee tables and lounge chairs are available.

It's been a while since I've been here . But I use to Go On Sundays with my book, grab a drink And hang out. It's such a cute cozy spot. When I went this morning at 10 am it was busy but then the line grew , got longer and we had to Be patient and wait . For a Saturday, there was one young lady working. She was cashing out and doing the orders. Despite how busy and hectic it was she was great! She was so Polite, took her time and made sure you had a great experience. I ordered the coconut cream Latte with macarons. My friend ordered coconut mocha breve drink with a savory egg and cheese sandwich on a nice soft bagel. She was happy with her order and I enjoyed mine as well. Today was beautiful out so we sat outside. They had a couple tables still out. On the menu they have bagels, smoothies, breakfast sandwiches, crepes and waffles. All sounded amazing. They use to have way more goodies on the counter window but they downsized with just a few options. They have 2 locations. Berlin and New Britain. Check it out!

I visited on a Saturday morning, around 10 AM. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. Even though it was chilly out, the sun was bright so we ended up sitting outside. There is a good variety of coffee's, bagels and pastries, Though my friend mentioned that they used to have more available pre-pandemic. I ordered a coconut mochaccino and an asiago cheese bagel with egg and cheese. The coffee was delicious, and the bagel was so soft - I'm not a big bagel person because I find them chewy, but this one was lightly toasted and practically melted in my mouth. I loved it. There was only one person behind the counter, taking and making the orders. She was very fast and very patient and friendly. We didn't have to wait long in line, but by the time we were putting our orders in, there were about 10 people behind us. I would definitely love to return and try more things in their menu.

Probably one of the best coffee spots I've experienced. Awesome food, awesome service and coffee variety/options, and awesome atmosphere. The Nutella crepes with fruit, is delicious. I had been craving it specifically and found this place had it and got much more out of the experience than I bargained for. Great place.

After a recent time consuming hair appointment, I was in need of an afternoon coffee fix. A quick Yelp search led me to Busy Bean. Upon entry, I was kindly greeted by a staff member. The menu had many options that were enticing, so I decided to let the barista make a recommendation. Based off my request of something not too strong or sweet, she suggested the Oatmeal Cookie Latte. She nailed it - the flavor was spot on, it had just the right amount of sweetness, and it gave me the burst of energy I needed. I'll visit again after my next hair appointment and look forward to trying a different flavor.

It's a good sign for a small coffee shop when nothing is going on at the businesses and buildings around you at 8 a.m., and you've got 5-6 different groups of people hanging out eating and drinking. That was my first experience at Cafe Busy Bean this morning. CBB is a cute little coffee shop on Main Street in Berlin. Like the best coffee shops, they have both tables and normal chairs, and big, soft comfy chairs for chill conversations and beverage sipping. The decor wasn't fancy, but it was warm and inviting. Service was both efficient and welcoming. The friendly service definitely made we want to return, which is the ultimate test. I ordered a black iced coffee and an everything bagel with veggie cream cheese. CBB uses La Colombe coffee, and specifically the Corsica dark roast blend for its current iced coffee. I believe La Colombe is originally a Philadelphia-based coffee roaster and I've seen it on at least one Top 25 US Roaster list. I most noticed dark chocolate notes. For a dark roast, it was more nuanced than I am used to. I prefer bright and fruit forward iced coffee, but this was a well executed iced dark roast. I'm not sure I've had a more everything, everything bagel before. Seriously, there was very little wasted space. The inside was soft and there was a nice crust on the outside. This clearly wasn't a standard bagel - so I asked. It turns out they bake them daily at CBB's New Britain location. The veggie cream cheese ("VCC") was good, but I didn't note a lot of veggies. I was somewhat impressed that they offered VCC at all, because many coffee places just offer plain. The dessert case looked great at CBB. In addition, they also offer various sweet crepes and a few breakfast options. Also, if you've ever been to an NYC bagel shop where they sell bagel sandwiches with cream cheese, capers, tomato and smoked salmon for around $15, well CBB offers a version for around $6.50. I'll be back for that when I'm hungrier. Five Stars for CBB.

Cashier saw me standing at the counter for two minutes. I literally watched her make two coffees while I stood there. No hello or give me one moment. She just continued to watch me. I walked right now. Also the low rating is due to the cleanliness of the establishment. Side note: I don't know if she was racist or just lacked customer service skills. I'll go down the street to Provision.

I absolutely love this cafe! I first came here with my sister after hiking Ragged Mountain and I have been back almost every weekend since and everything I've had has been delicious. The staff are also very kind and helpful! The first time I went I ordered a crepe with raspberries and biscoff cookie butter. It was amazing! The raspberries were fresh and the cookie butter was warm and gooey, wrapped in a crepe that was perfectly cooked with a buttery brown crisp outside. The crepes are huge so definitely order one and split it if you're with a friend (or come hungry and enjoy the whole thing!) I also got a spiced cardamom latte which had a nice aromatic flavor. I've also tried the hot chai, the carrot cake, the pistachio cake, and the oreo cheesecake and they are all good as well. But I would definitely recommend the crepes the most, they're the best!

Absolutely delicious egg and cheese bagel

The barista then came into the lobby, closed the door, and smiled directly at me, which made me think she was returning to prepare my drinks. Instead, she picked up both tickets, looked at them, and threw them away without starting my order. She then began cleaning the machines and eventually went to the back, leaving me waiting for about 20 minutes with no update. When she returned, I asked for a refund since I needed to leave. Rather than processing it, she repeatedly insisted on making the drink, even after I clearly said I preferred a refund. She told me she would process my refund. Two days later the charge went through. The interaction felt confusing and poorly handled. I completed their survey, submitted a comment via their website, and sent them a Yelp message. Well, the website said they were New York bagels(from my ancestral home, The Bronx), so I thought they might be exceptionally good. Nope. First the good--the decaf Cappuccino was exceptional. Good espresso base, nice foam. It couldn't have been better. Now, about the bagel. Not much variety; only plain or everything. They asked if I wanted it "warmed." I suspected that meant "in a microwave" so I said if it was fresh, I didn't need it warmed. When the bagel arrived, it was ice cold. Must have been kept in a fridge, which doesn't help the taste or texture of baked goods. Because of that, it did not seem particularly fresh. It was certainly not like the New York bagels of my childhood, unless you compare it to prepackaged commercial bagels (like Lenders). The staff was professional and helpful, and was glad to explain what was or wasn't available. Service was prompt. I'm sure I'll go back another time and try the beignets.

Decided to hunt down a few different locations and this one popped up in the hunt. Location is a small space in a little plaza. Staff was friendly, recommended the strawberry donut. Price was 2 bucks a donut, so towards the higher side. Donut was fresh, dense with a heavy sugar shell and a strong artificial strawberry flavor. Not bad, but I prefer the lighter yeasty style donuts than the denser, sugar laden ones. As a local donut shop, it's good. The quality is there, but the donuts are not my style. Now, to me, a cruller is nice and airy with a hint of crispness in the edges and a moist center. This was more like an old fashioned donut made into a twist, and it is probably one of the best old fashioned donut I have had ever! Nicely glazed, but that dough ... chef's kiss! We also grabbed their chocolate frosted and a Boston cream to share with our son. The employees are super nice and helpful. Only downside is they only serve coffee - iced or hot. I wish they had an espresso machine for lattes and cappuccinos. 4.5 stars!
