Freshly baked that morning and you could tell. FYI. They use real eggs for the sandwiches. This minor detail is very important to me when it comes to breakfast sandwiches. I cannot do premade egg. I have been wanting to stop and finally did with an EVERYTHING appetite. Nice small place, rather quiet inside with one older gentleman who seemed like a regular. The Bagel shop is in a newer developed space along Route 4 (aka busy Farmington Avenue). The odd thing I couldn't get through my head was how the site was designed. The back of the shops face out to Farmington Ave and the store fronts and parking are in the rear? Usually it's the other way around. Terrible advertising for the businesses. Just the same, I managed to stop, ordered two Everything bagels with White Fish spread and a large dark roast coffee. I was met with "...white what...". I repeated and added, "...its Jewish thing, which is delicious on a bagel. " Sorry we don't have that." Hmmm . Well I'll have a thin smear of creamed cheese, which they had plenty, on my two toasted Everything bagels. I prepped my coffee and in a flash the bagels were packaged and bagged. I was given a "have a nice day". Get in my car, unwrapped the First bagel, ahh an Everything. Later the second was unwrapped back a my home office and a Toasted Sesame Seed jumped out at me. No offense Sesame lovers, I was hugely disappointed my simple order got twisted. And to top off my dissatisfaction NO WHITE FISH SPREAD! read more

Super nice owners and really nice space inside. I stopped by again recently and was warmly greeted. The person in front of me had a big order -- she loves the place -- but it moved quick and they were quick to fill my order. Got a fresh cup of coffee that was good. For me, the bagels here aren't my thing. I love a NY bagel, but these are just more like the type you'd get in the midwest (where I once was) or get from a grocery store. That said, they loaded it up with scallion cream cheese and price is right. Overall, it's a change from some of the other bagel places around here and there's definitely a market for it. Very very tough and doughy bagel with a nightmarishly inconsistent ratio of cream cheese. One time I went and you'd think I asked for cream cheese with a side of bagel, the next and there was the faintest whisper of cream cheese applied to my bagel. The people there were nice I suppose, although the second time I went I asked for a side of sausage (admittedly an odd request, but not THAT odd) and I could tell they were talking about it behind my back. Just the most offputting customer experience. Like just say no if it's that difficult of a request to accommodate. It's sad because I think we have a major shortage of good bagels in the area and I was really hoping that this place would be what we needed, but nope - I'll stick with Lox Stock as our best local option for now. read more

They're in a brand new commercial building, but you really won't see a parking lot or much else on Farmington Avenue except for their sign. That will lead you to a driveway, a rear parking lot and their store in the back of the building. So whether that's a front door or a back door will have to be debated by Yelp philosophers. Anyway, once you enter the store you'll see some tables and chairs, a big ordering counter and a menu up on the wall listing groups of sandwiches, snacks, bagels, coffees, and soups. No cream cheese flavors, you have to ask for them. We picked up an Everything and Jalapeno bagel. The Everything was $1.60 and there was an upcharge for the Jalapeno. I'm not sure how much that upcharge was, but for whatever it cost, I barely had any jalapenos inside my bagel. Check out my photo to see what I mean. It came in a very poor second to the Jalapeno bagel I get at Isaac's in Bloomfield. read more

Let's start with the pros: Clean establishment Friendly staff Cons: Not the best bagel place. I know they just opened so I'll come back to see if there are improvements. I ordered Two different bagels but got the same flavor. Of course I was already driving away when I realized. I was going to order and egg and cheese sandwich but for almost $8? I know Everything is more expensive these days but still....... I love bagels and I've tasted many and this wasn't it. so I hope they improve the recipe, maybe bake it longer, I don't know....but I saw someone get a dozen so they must like this one? Okay I came here from the bosses at Yelp reviews. Very hidden building from Farmington Ave. Be attentive driving if you choose to visit this location. Okay let's cut straight to the chase. It's a really bad bagel. I wish I could say it was amazing and I wanted to, but check my pics. The 'everything' bagel should be called the 'barely anything' bagel. I was charged $7 for an egg and cheese bagel with ONE egg. I'd pay the price if the product was exceptional. However, this establishment has missed the mark. This is where I give it 3 stars 1 star for customer service - very friendly staff 1 star for interior decor - very clean interior and unique design 1 star for coffee - The coffee is amazing! I've driven past here many times and finally made in. It was empty on an early weekday morning, so service was very fast. They were also very helpful with questions I had. I ordered a dozen of bagels to go with 2 different cream cheese. I was able to try some different flavors of bagels including blueberry, egg, wheat, and french toast. First time I went, I got a few bagels to go. Sesame, Everything and Poppy. The bagels lacked salt and literally had no flavor, they all tasted the same. Decided to give it another try because I was right in the area. Got a toasted bagel with tuna salad. The tuna was fresh and really good. However, over $9 for a bagel with tuna????? That seems absurd. LONG OVERDUE REVIEW (Circa 2022-23): Mornings can be sluggish and tiring. There are only 2 solutions. 1, Eat breakfast, 2, going back to bed and put your morning routine off for an hour. Good Morning Bagels offers you only the first option but makes up for the second beautifully. Right off of Farmington avenue and conveniently located right next to the trails at the reservoir you can grab a delicious bite for breakfast! We called ahead which made it so convenient. A nice kid quickly and efficiently prepares your bagel and coffee if ordered. Their bagels are nice and crispy on the outside yet soft and chewy inside. The egg bagel with butter is to die for, the savory eggy bagel pairs perfectly with the salty butter. The bagel still isn't soggy! The BEC (Bacon, egg, and cheese) is delicious as well, perfectly seasoned egg and a standard yellow cheese stuffed with thick cut bacon makes for a yummy wake up call. I look forward for another bacon egg and cheese to wake up my taste buds! read more

Noting that this place is newly opened, they have some work to do. The bagels are not great - they lack that trademark bagel chewiness. Honestly, they seem like they're a home baker's early attempts at bagels. Hopefully they will gain some more experience and produce a better product. They also look a bit under baked. The sesame and everything bagels could use a heavier hand with the topping. I hope they can change some things or otherwise I fear they won't last long. read more

Driving from an appt to camp a few weeks ago we drove past a new bagel place. So we do bagel Fridays during camp as a fun father daughter morning activity. We had Ana Asiago bagel with scallion cream cheese, and everything bagel with plain and a raisin with walnut. A large iced coffee and an orange juice later and we were quiet content. I am a very fussy bagel eater, I just don't eat anything that people call a bagel. For quite a few years I only eat Breugger's because of the texture & the taste, my choice , onion bagels. I don't care for the specialty bagels, cinnamon, blueberry on & on , just onion. I tried Good Morning Bagels & they are just as good as Breugger's. I now have 2 shops to choose from. Brand new place, better get their act together quick! Close to home so was looking forward to giving it a try, but they got the order all wrong. Ordered a bacon egg and cheese but got a bagel sandwich with egg, slices of deli ham, which I hate, and a gooey layer of yucky cheese that I believe is Velveeta. Not to mention the bagel was stale. Oh, and was given a side of coleslaw, not sure why. Charged a way overpriced $8.95!! Didn't realize it was ham and not bacon until I got home. Won't be going back. Went with some friends, we all got bagel sandwiches for lunch (I got egg and cheese on an everything bagel). It was delicious! The egg was cooked and seasoned perfectly, the cheese was melted, and the bagel was great. I might have liked a bit more seasoning on my everything bagel, but that may just my personal preference. :) The service was extremely friendly, and I liked the ambience too.
