    Scary amount of cream cheese
    Hannah M.

Very very tough and doughy bagel with a nightmarishly inconsistent ratio of cream cheese. One time I went and you'd think I asked for cream cheese with a side of bagel, the next and there was the faintest whisper of cream cheese applied to my bagel. The people there were nice I suppose, although the second time I went I asked for a side of sausage (admittedly an odd request, but not THAT odd) and I could tell they were talking about it behind my back. Just the most offputting customer experience. Like just say no if it's that difficult of a request to accommodate. It's sad because I think we have a major shortage of good bagels in the area and I was really hoping that this place would be what we needed, but nope - I'll stick with Lox Stock as our best local option for now.

"Tambourines and elephants are playin' in the band Won't you take a ride on the flyin' spoon? Dood-n-doo-doo Wonderous apparition provided by magician Doo, doo, doo, lookin' out my back door" (John Fogarty) You may have a bit of a challenge finding Good Morning Bagels. They're in a brand new commercial building, but you really won't see a parking lot or much else on Farmington Avenue except for their sign. That will lead you to a driveway, a rear parking lot and their store in the back of the building. So whether that's a front door or a back door will have to be debated by Yelp philosophers. Anyway, once you enter the store you'll see some tables and chairs, a big ordering counter and a menu up on the wall listing groups of sandwiches, snacks, bagels, coffees, and soups. No cream cheese flavors, you have to ask for them. We picked up an Everything and Jalapeno bagel. The Everything was $1.60 and there was an upcharge for the Jalapeno. I'm not sure how much that upcharge was, but for whatever it cost, I barely had any jalapenos inside my bagel. Check out my photo to see what I mean. It came in a very poor second to the Jalapeno bagel I get at Isaac's in Bloomfield.

Small bagel shop with a solid coffee selection in addition to a wide variety of bagels and bagel sandwich options, however the bagels are mediocre and the coffee quality varies widely depending on who makes it The bagels here are extremely doughy, and the coffee is only good when the owner's family is making it (however when they make it it's fantastic) As I mentioned previously the space is very small, and there are only a couple seats inside, but it is very cozy and clean and the staff are very friendly They also do not sell cream cheese to-go

Just okay for me.They we're out of the multigrain bagel so I opted for a wheat bagel instead with egg ,cheese and bacon. The sandwich was dry and lacked flavor. I wish service was more enthusiastic.

Let's start with the pros: Clean establishment Friendly staff Cons: Not the best bagel place. I know they just opened so I'll come back to see if there are improvements. I ordered Two different bagels but got the same flavor. Of course I was already driving away when I realized. I was going to order and egg and cheese sandwich but for almost $8? I know Everything is more expensive these days but still....... I love bagels and I've tasted many and this wasn't it. so I hope they improve the recipe, maybe bake it longer, I don't know....but I saw someone get a dozen so they must like this one? It's not crunchy and chewy on the inside. It's chewy everywhere almost like rubber. I'm sorry Customer service is great though!

Okay I came here from the bosses at Yelp reviews. Very hidden building from Farmington Ave. Be attentive driving if you choose to visit this location. Okay let's cut straight to the chase. It's a really bad bagel. I wish I could say it was amazing and I wanted to, but check my pics. The 'everything' bagel should be called the 'barely anything' bagel. I was charged $7 for an egg and cheese bagel with ONE egg. I'd pay the price if the product was exceptional. However, this establishment has missed the mark. This is where I give it 3 stars 1 star for customer service - very friendly staff 1 star for interior decor - very clean interior and unique design 1 star for coffee - The coffee is amazing! Totally worth the visit for the coffee in itself. Certainly far from the best bagels in CT but Give it a shot!

"Cheddar" bagel (looks more like an egg bagel but haven't tried it get), rainbow, cinnamon raisin, everything, sesame

Noting that this place is newly opened, they have some work to do. The bagels are not great - they lack that trademark bagel chewiness. Honestly, they seem like they're a home baker's early attempts at bagels. Hopefully they will gain some more experience and produce a better product. They also look a bit under baked. The sesame and everything bagels could use a heavier hand with the topping. I hope they can change some things or otherwise I fear they won't last long.

Driving from an appt to camp a few weeks ago we drove past a new bagel place. So we do bagel Fridays during camp as a fun father daughter morning activity. We had Ana Asiago bagel with scallion cream cheese, and everything bagel with plain and a raisin with walnut. A large iced coffee and an orange juice later and we were quiet content. The people were friendly the food was good what more can you ask for in the morning.

New hot place in Farmington. Local roast coffee was impressive. Smoked salmon looks good too.

"Rebel Rebel, you've torn your dress Rebel Rebel, your face…read moreis a mess Rebel Rebel, how could they know? Hot tramp, I love you so" (David Bowie) After a morning appointment in Farmington, we were both in the mood to stop somewhere for breakfast. That gave us the perfect opportunity to stop at a place we've driven by a zillion times. Rebel Dog Coffee's area shops have been on our radar for years, and yesterday we finally checked their Farmington location. It's in a strip mall shopping plaza right next to a Nardelli's more or less where Route 6 crosses Fienneman Road/Birdseye Road. Their Dog Pack has four Rebel Dog members spread out around the Greater Hartford area and some of their coffees can be found in local supermarkets. Their Farmington store is very large and comfortable, with plenty of space between the customer tables. The dining room was fairly crowded when we arrived, with people socializing and banging away on their laptops. Rebel Dog has a very deep offering of coffee drinks and food choices, Want a coffee? Well, you best be ready to choose among single or double espressos (with or without foam of whipped cream or steamed milk, lattes. Cappuccinos, mochas, and Americanos, light-dark-or decaf drip coffees, French Press, Pour Overs, teas, jot chocolates and a ton more. You can even get a growler of coffee, tea, or kombucha. I never saw that before. Now, what good is a morning coffee without something to munch alongside it? No worries, because the Dog has you covered with everything from "Build Your Own" breakfast sandwiches, six egg Benedicts, oatmeal, yogurt & granola, fruit cups, and pastries. If you arrive later in the day, your options might include soups, salads, sandwiches, grilled cheese and burgers. Our breakfast order was a cup of their Steady Habits light house blend (a medium-light roast, smooth and sweet with notes of roasted nuts, fig, and caramel), a cup of their Big Red Truck Dark Roast (a blend of both washed process and natural process Colombian coffees for a rich and layered coffee with notes of dark chocolate, crème brûlée, and warm spices), a "build Your Own" Breakfast Bagel Sandwich and an order of Avocado Toast. With tax and tip, everything totaled under $25. The sandwich we built contained ham and an egg on an Everything Bagel and we had zero complaints about it. My Avocado Toast (no added egg or protein) was wonderful. It was a thick slice of homemade multigrain bread topped with a very generous blanket of smashed avocado. We could not have been happier with our first encounter with a Rebel Dog.

I stopped in to try out their drinks. I love coffee shops and supporting local so this was on my radar for a bit. The interior was spacious with plenty of seating. The customer service was good.
