It's loaded with melted sharp American cheddar, pickles, griddled onions and dijonnaise. I added the thick-cut bacon but passed on the fried egg -- and for me, that was the right call. The bacon adds another level of smoky, sweet, and salty richness without taking away from the burger itself.

I recently visited Busy Burger in Chicago and was a little underwhelmed by my experience. The food was okay, but not particularly memorable. I ordered the impossible burger and while it was cooked to my liking and tasted fine, it didn't blow me away. The bun was a little dry and the toppings were a little sparse. The fries were also just okay - a little soggy and not particularly crispy. It was very expensive for the quality of the burger. The service at Busy Burger was fine. Our server was friendly and efficient, but nothing particularly stood out about the service. The restaurant itself has a casual, fast food atmosphere which was fine, but not particularly inviting. Overall, while I didn't have a terrible experience at Busy Burger, it didn't live up to my expectations. I'd give it 3 out of 5 stars. read more

One of my favorite places for a long time for a simple good burger with a spicy mayo. They have been down for some face lift and when I saw they where open again today, I couldn't wait to go there again and told my brother about it, and we went. All new face lift, new computer system, new look... AND A NEW BURGER. the fries where great and the spicy mayo should be bottled and sold. How ever, I think they want to franchise and kinda lost track of the only thing that make them so good. THE BURGER.... it was tasteless small, the bread was big and I couldn't tast the flame flavor which I loved so much. And yes... it was empty or as good as empty and we waited 25 min for 2 burgers.... Good Burger, under $5, walking distance from apt= great for me. This spot has been on Taylor st for years and i've always been a fan. Up until a few months ago I would have thrown 2and a halfstars to the place but one defining change to the menu threw them into the stratosphere. They have the best onion rings ive had since coming to Chicago 7 years ago! Try them and you will not be disappointed. I was curious as to how they came to be and I was told they hand batter their o rings and they run out due to demand regularly. No frozen prepackaging here. Since its owned by the same guy that brought moto to the city I am not suprised. Totally worth the trip. read more

Horrible restaurant. My son, who has life-threatening allergies to dairy and egg, was able to have a plain hamburger patty cooked on a clean surface. After eating here, my son went through hours of pain and sickness to the point when he needed medical care immediately. Don't come here if you value your life and have allergies. read more
