We were PCSing from Hawaii, and even MilFlights wouldn't take him last minute due to breed. In a panic and google search, I found Jeff with Furry Freight who contacted me back immediately after my request for information. He was able to accommodate us extremely last minute--literally a day before our flight after multiple failed attempts with the other major airlines. From start to finish, he came up with multiple courses of action to make sure our dog got as close as possible to our destination within the timeline we needed. The handler who picked up our dog from our home was fantastic. He was calm, great with our pup, double-checked all of our paperwork, and made sure we were confident before sending him off. Both the handler and the company kept us updated with pictures before the trip, during progress checks, and even after he was loaded. They also followed up to make sure he was picked up at the final destination. Communication was absolutely top notch. Even with the Hawaii-mainland time difference (and my stress of forgetting it sometimes), Jeff answered every call and text within minutes. Military PCS moves are stressful enough--adding pets in Hawaii with breed restrictions and weather limitations makes it even harder. Furry Freight truly took a huge weight off my shoulders, and I'm extremely grateful for the care and service they provided. I would 100% recommend them to anyone needing reliable, compassionate pet transport.

Every once in a while he gets a negative review even though he is rated 10 ten docs in CA. I have hundreds of patients letters on his professional skills. It astounds me when I see a negative review & realize it was from a person one just couldn't make happy or has a personal problem. Therefore , in the case of GAT I feel it might be the same. We would NEVER use them if they weren't outstanding. I never go for average. Only THE BEST. We leave our fur babies with The Foley's all the time. Once Michael, on his own accord took my heart Dog to the vet because he thought he wasn't acting right. It turned out she had a mild bladder infection which was cured by antibiotics. But it would have turned into a kidney infection had Michael not acted so swiftly. Honestly , I have yet to meet a couple who go so above & beyond to transport & care for your pets. They go the extra mile. Which in this day & age is so rare to see. Because they truly care. I would never hesitate to use them.

A Year of Wasted Time, Empty Promises, and Total Incompetence…read more I am writing this review after a nightmarish experience with Global Animal Transport that lasted for about a year. If you are looking to transport a pet--especially an exotic animal like a tortoise--do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. This company is filled with issues, and working with them was a complete waste of my time. My primary contact was Michael Foley, who promised a lot at the beginning but never delivered anything useful. I paid $700 to get started and I was hoping for some service. He was incredibly unresponsive throughout the entire process. I frequently had to send multiple emails over long periods just to get a single reply. It felt like I had to beg for updates on a service I was paying for. Even the initial step of obtaining the U.S. permit, which should have been the easy part, was an absolute struggle. It took many, many months and was plagued with problems before they finally obtained it. That alone should have been a red flag, but the incompetence only got worse. Michael was often confused about the details of my case and seemed totally unaware of what was actually required to deliver a tortoise to Canada. The situation reached a breaking point regarding the cross-border paperwork. A few months after we finally dragged the U.S. permit over the finish line, Michael realized we also needed a specific permit for Canada. This is basic industry knowledge that a "professional" transport company should have known from day one. By the time I managed to secure the Canadian permit myself, the hard-won U.S. permit had expired. Instead of taking responsibility for this massive oversight, Michael had the audacity to ask me to pay again to restart the whole process. He was incredibly rude! It is baffling that a company would expect a customer to foot the bill for their own negligence and incompetence. Global Animal Transport is unprofessional, incompetent, and easily one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. Save your money and your sanity--avoid them at all costs.

An MRI was recommended, but it was very costly and not something I could pursue at the time--especially without a clear diagnosis. That's when I decided to try therapy with Christy at Zenden. Over the past few months, my dog has been doing physical therapy with Christy, including water therapy and laser treatments. The improvement has been incredible. She has made such a strong recovery, and I truly believe we wouldn't be where we are today without Christy's care and dedication. Christy goes above and beyond for both her patients and their owners. Christy's massage techniques are able to calm my anxious little chihuahua mix! Both women have given him laser treatments that will hopefully build up both of his back legs. They certainly seem to relax him. Bruno was initially quite unhappy in the hydrotherapy. But he is now water-walking 5 minutes! This is due in no small part to the Zen Den staff. The facility itself is clean, quiet and even when multiple animals come in at the same time, it feels soothing and peaceful. So although we are there to rehab Bruno, it is also a pleasant experience for me! I understand why so many dog people give Zen Den high marks. Not only is it one-of-a-kind in the Antelope Valley, but it is also a clinically sound and helpful place with knowledgeable, caring people. From a purely practical perspective, the prices at Zen Den are more than fair. And if necessary, they have a payment plan that can be utilized so that your furry baby can feel better.
