I set up an evaluation for my dog for daycare and they told me to have all the vaccine records ready for when I arrive. I think the $18 they charge for that is a cash grab, but that's ok. I called ahead of time before I pulled up and asked what the procedure was for me to bring in my dog as he has some leash aggression and I wanted to avoid a full waiting room. The lady that was there didn't answer the question and instead said rather curtly I needed to provide all the records. I explained I was told to email them when I arrived so they could print them then and have them. She said fine and just told me to ring the doorbell. When I arrived, there was a dog in one of the front windows right beside the door that was going nuts, causing my dog to get very agitated. The lady did not address this dog that's freaking out and instead opened the door to let me in. There was yet another dog in a kennel in the lobby who started barking and again started riling up my dog. Again this lady did not seem to care about all this chaos and instead handed me a clipboard and told me in a snarky manner that the email address is written down and I need to fill out all the forms front and back. Since there was no place to go inside to fill these out where my dog would not be reactive, and I couldn't go back outside to the car because the other dog is going nuts in the window, I just said it wouldn't work out and left. My issue is if they care this little about 1) my dog's anxiety during this process and 2) the other dogs that are clearly stressed and freaking out, why would I trust them with my little guy? The bad attitude of the lady that was there was just the cherry on top. First impressions are important, and this place was very disappointing, and potentially dangerous for dogs that need some extra attention.

Dr. Soto was new to us but 100/10! She was so kind to Maverick (and the humans) both tech and doctor gave him space , moved slowly, let him adjust as needed and really communicated with us and worked with us to make this as easy for Maverick as possible! To our credit we are also very involved and more than willing to help to keep Maverick and the staff safe but not all places will allow the time or space for people to do that and are more just rushing along or through things but NOT HERE not today ! Serious Dr. Ortega's change to Mavericks pre sedation has been a game changer but I also think the approach and the vets make a HUGE difference in 9 years we have never had such positive experiences and we have been all over with him this is truly the most comfortable, reassured and trusting I've felt with vet's and Maverick! He is a special boy with re leg deformity which makes him more vulnerable so also more reactive but they do so well with him I cannot thank them enough I have raved about Dr. Ortega but Dr. Soto is just as amazing - these doctors are angels to crazy fur mommas like me ! Took my dog to get his annual vaccines + his rabies shot at North Valley Vet Center. He's never had…read moreany reaction to vaccines. But for some reason about 20 minutes after he was vaccinated he started to vomit, get extremely itchy and scratch himself against surfaces, he'll lay down to try and sleep and start to twitch and spasm uncontrollably, redness all over his stomach. I called North Valley after his 4th time vomiting and they told me to take him to urgent care because they couldn't see him. I don't know what they did to him but he's been healthy his entire life and never had any reactions to anything he was given.

From day one, Juan provided exceptional customer service. He was never pushy, took the time to explain the training process, answered all of my questions thoroughly, and was always easy to reach whenever I needed him.
