This is hands-down the best butcher shop we've encountered in years of living across the U.S. and abroad--France, Texas, Michigan, Colorado, California, you name it. Only the Detroit Farmers Market comes close! The team here is incredibly knowledgeable about their craft, from the sourcing of their high-quality local meats to the specifics of each cut. We recently tried their chicken, and it was the BEST we've ever tasted--juicy, flavorful, and perfect when spatchcocked and cooked on our flat-top grill. Yes, it's a bit pricey, but every bite was worth it. We also picked up pork chops, beef, and sausage, and we're beyond excited to try them. Super Service and Great Steaks. My first experience but was extremely satisfied with the staff.

Our longtime friends recommended this great butcher shop with the added bonus of a coffee bar. The husband, Brent, follows in his Grandfather's footsteps as the butcher who knows his meat sources and cuts them onsite. He even has a locker of aged meats. His wife, Jennifer, is the barista, and even though we'd already had coffee at home, I did check out their menu, plus their bags of coffee. I'm pretty certain it's all fair trade and quality product bc they are so proud of their product and can tell you everything about what they sell, including their chocolates. One of their customers was even a neighbor who produces the bloody mary mix that they sell. Some of their beef is still on the hoof right around the corner. They carry Florida meats, even the land when it is in stock. My husband asked me what I wanted to do for my birthday and I said I wanted to shop at Butcher & bean, and boy did we! We bought sausages with gummies, habanero, sriracha, herbs- we tried 3? flavors last night and really had fun! We grilled them and had them either farro pilaf and hawaiian pretzel rolls and that was all we needed. Since it was my birthday, my sweet husband splurged on my favorite - one of the giant tomahawks in the case, and yes I know you pay for a bone, but that's almost my favorite part and it adds so much flavor! because my habanero is now famous in 3 states for smoked brisket, lol, he bought a 20 pounder with the fat cap which is where the juice and flavor come from, but they will sell you a flat if that's what you want . We also bought two thick, succulent pork chops, and will be back for their brisket burgers. Even though business was quite steady on a Saturday, the staff were friendly and chatted with everyone, mostly regulars. They are located on US1 in a strip mall, do watch for them even with gps. They are halal & kosher friendly and can cater to Jewish and Muslim dietary needs. Our friends have certain restrictions and know when they are buying grass fed or grass finished &/or organic products. Talk to them, they are good, honest people who know their product farm to table. I had a craving for lamb chops and Winn Dixie doesn't carry them and a friend told me she had never seen them at Publix, so off I went to Butcher and Bean. But jeeze, they were $34.99 per pound (and that's only 3 or 4 chops per pound. I have since found out that Publix does sell them and they sell them for $12.99 per pound. I won't be returning to Butcher and Bean. read more

The meat here is top notch. I won't eat anything that was factory farmed, am super picky about any animal products. I've purchased teres majors, strips, and ground beef from them regularly and just ordered a strip loin for the holidays. I know prime ground beef is pricy, but I made Greek meatballs for a mezza party and I got so many compliments on how flavorful and juicy they were. The staff is so helpful and friendly. read more

They have a coffee bar that was a-w-e-s-o-m-e !!!! I got a doppio with panna! Delicious. I will be back for coffee if I don't need meat. There was a fridge with local pressed juices, chimmichurri sauce, and desserts. I got a peanut butter to-go cake. Inside is fun, not cluttered perfect style. The meat here is to die for, we make sure to come at least once a week to stock up on all of our meats/ vegetables we need for our dinners, it really is the freshest meat we have ever had. The coffee is always absolutely amazing as well. They keep things so fun by always bringing in some new sausage flavors, or some awesome new latte flavors.
