They are tucked in the corner so it's easy to miss but it's such a cute place. Took my mom out for her birthday brunch here and the owner came out and gave us a muffin with a lit candle and was so kind. All the employees were a nice and personal. The food was bomb especially the avocado toast and vegan earl grey muffin. Even if I'm not hungry I'll just go in for a honey matcha latte with almond milk. Rachel and Anna were totally awesome. I had to run in to use the bathroom after I ordered something to go but I had my dog and they kindly kept an eye while he was leashed outside. I've known The owners since the little place opened and was so happy to have a place while I was waiting for my dogs during appt to catch a little yummy coffee or snack and the owners are always so sweet and the food done well. I usually enjoy coming here and have visited this bakery several times, but I wanted to share a few…read moreconcerns from my most recent experience, particularly regarding the food preparation area. While waiting for our food, we noticed one of the employees who was preparing food cleaning the kitchen walls. After cleaning, they did not appear to wash their hands before putting on gloves and returning to food preparation. I understand gloves are used for sanitation, but proper handwashing before putting on gloves is also an important part of safe food handling. We also noticed one of the main cooks preparing food while wearing a sleeveless shirt. From a cleanliness and food-safety standpoint, this did not seem appropriate for someone actively working in the kitchen and handling food. Lastly, before ordering, we specifically asked how long the food would take because we were in a rush. We were told approximately 5-10 minutes, which helped us decide whether we had enough time to stay and order. Unfortunately, it ended up taking longer than we were told. I completely understand that food can sometimes take longer, but a more accurate estimate would have been appreciated so we could have made that decision beforehand. I'm sharing this because I have been a returning customer and think these are important things for management to be aware of, especially when it comes to cleanliness, food handling, and communicating wait times to customers.
