Classic pancakes with potato's and bacon
    Adrienne W.

Me and a friend went for lunch on a Sunday. I always expect long waits on Sunday but even with them being very busy they were able to get us seated in 15 minutes. The restaurant itself was very cute and bright. The menu had lots to choose from and even a lunch menu on the other side if you're not in the mood for breakfast food. I'm a pancake girl so I got a stack with a side of one of their special butters. I got the cinnamon butter and I also ordered a side of bacon and breakfast potatoes. Everything was so good. The butter really enhanced the flavor of the pancakes and the potatoes were in a large bowl so plenty for two people if you want to share. I would go back so I can try the French toast

Highly recommend this restaurant. The food is delicious and the service is exceptional. I asked the server is they could make a cafe au lait and they were kind enough to accommodate my request. Food came out pretty quickly despite the restaurant being busy, and staff continued to check in. Such a beautiful restaurant too. Calm tones. Surface parking.

Solid but not amazing. We would return although it's a little far away compared to other places. There was about a 30 minute wait when we went but they handled the crowd and waiting list professionally. Our server Ashley was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I had the biscuits and gravy which came with eggs and potatoes. A good amount of food and I took some home. Overall a good experience.

I love a good brunch, and this place is new to the area, so we headed over on a weekday to give it a try. First, the good stuff. The crepes were delicious, especially with the raspberry butter. My husband got the cinnamon butter, and honestly that might have been even better. The food definitely had potential. Now for the reason this review loses a star. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was a slight "baby diaper/garbage" type smell. Unfortunately, it never really went away for me, and honestly it is the thing that will probably keep me from coming back despite liking the food. I will admit I have a nose like a bloodhound. My husband barely noticed it until I pointed it out, so maybe it is just me being extra sensitive. But once you smell something like that, it is hard to un-smell it. I have no idea what the source was, but hopefully they figure it out because the food was actually quite good. Service was good.

A very nice brunch spot with a laidback feeling. There were a variety of delicious brunch menu options. I went traditional with pancakes, scrambled eggs and bacon. My daughter got salmon, avocado toast with fruit. Everything came out great! It was a busy Saturday but we had such great conversation, we stayed talking until closing time. Loved the friendly, attentive service we received from our server.

We had the pleasure of trying Butter My Brunch located in Grapevine! The inside was spacious, clean, and vibrant! They also have some patio seating available! We opted to sit at the bar, where Lily took great care of us! We had a carousel of drinks from the Butter my Brunch Punch, refreshing Mimosas, to the Espresso Martini with Tequila and Amaretto! Thank you Alir! Mozzarella appetizer was good, we both Sweet Stack breakfast combos with Pancake and Waffle that were both equally filling! Can't wait to come back to BMB to try even more delicious items from their menu! Support Local! Thanks for having us!

Biscuit and sausage gravy. Biscuit was nice and fluffy. The gravy is different we couldn't place the seasoning in it but it was good.

Enjoyed the great service fron Arlen. The food and portions were good. We felt comfortable and enjoyed the music.

First time here. Fairly new, bit of an upscale atmosphere... well lit, clean and comfortable. Wanted to give them 5 stars, but a 3% surcharge for a credit card, small omelette size and a $0.99 charge for a small side of salsa pushed it down to 4 stars. Though the Big Country Omelette was tasty, it was definitely not a 3 egg omelette (and not big). And at $17, charging for salsa (where most other breakfast spots in Grapevine do not) plus the credit card surcharge really crushed my impression of this place! Good size portions of the pancakes and the potatoes, however I would have preferred hashbrowns to their potato wedges. Love their honey, cinnamon butter! Service was good. But nothing special. Whereas I would definitely say you should try it yourself, I won't likely be back as personally I feel there are too many better value choices in Grapevine, of equal quality.

    Tex-Mex Omelet

I was seated at one of the tables behind the host stand. Every time the door opened, I felt the wind. Fortunately, the morning was pleasantly cool with a slight wind. A small wall, the width of two tables, directly behind the stand failed to block the wind. On cold, windy days, the interior layout of the restaurant will be a problem for half the diners. Per the name of the restaurant, I wanted to try one of the signature butters, particularly the Cinnamon Honey. I ordered the Tex-Mex Omelet with the brunch potatoes and biscuit. Unlike the typical tall and round biscuit, theirs is short and flat. Due to its large surface area, it almost fell apart when held. The omelet was topped in three sections, avocado, crema and tortilla strips. The latter was not mentioned on the menu. Similar to how ham is often prepared, the chorizo was diced rather than grounded. Overall, the omelet was enjoyable. The potatoes were slightly crispy and well seasoned. I enjoyed their coffee. Fortunately, they had both Splenda and Half & Half. The second time my waitress checked on me, I requested a refill. She never came back with the refill. As my throat was getting dry, I had to fall back on water. Eventually, an employee with a coffee pot came by. Because an earlier review mentioned of the credit card surcharge, I was looking for its signage. There was none by the host stand nor on the menu. When I asked for the check, the waitress handed it to me, then left me with the mobile card reader. The final amount charged on my card had about a 2.5% surcharge. The surcharge would significantly add to a large group's bill, it should have better visibility. As for large parties, the square tables are rounded at the corners. When two are combined, the diners in the middle do not have straight edge. A minor annoyance than a major problem.

Great venue. Able to walk in and be served right away. Comfy seats, kind server, and they made my dairy-free mods with ease. Got the traditional breakfast with some avocado, my son got pancakes with Nutella and banana, and my husband got the salmon Benny, which looked delicious. Would definitely go here if I were in the area again.

Our party of ten needed a place close to the DFW airport. We were seated quickly earlyish on a Friday morning. Coffee was hot and good, and everyone left pleased with their meals! All the food I saw looked really good. Hot, sweet, salty. Eggs were made to order correctly. I would definitely go back here.

We got to the hostess only to have her stare at us mutely. No welcome. No greeting. So we had to take the initiative and request a table for two. We were told it would be twenty minutes because of the kitchen. Not sure what that meant, but okay, we didn't mind waiting. Yamuina, the hostess we bothered, never smiled. Never offered to have us wait either at the table we requested, the bar or the sitting area by their fountain that we had to ask to sit at. She wasn't even the one who seated us. It could be because she was going in and out of the kitchen obviously eating. On the other hand, Michael, our waiter, was great. Welcoming and friendly and took care of our orders and our whole lunch so well that it almost made up for it's dismissive start. The hours are strange and the prices are pricey. The service was also great, with attentive and friendly staff throughout the meal. Unfortunately, the food didn't match the quality of the setting. I tried their chicken tortilla soup and was disappointed. It tastes more like tomato soup with chicken and vegetables rather than an authentic tortilla soup with the depth and flavor you'd expect. It fell flat and I can't recommend it. The cantina's strengths are clearly its ambiance and service, but if you're dining here primarily for the food, you may want to manage your expectations or explore other menu options. It's a beautiful spot for a meal and drinks, but the culinary execution needs improvement.

I arrived during the lunch rush, and both the parking lot and the restaurant were packed. Even though they were extremely busy, we were immediately greeted by a courteous and polite young man who quickly escorted us to a booth. We were seated in Ms. Maria's section, and she was a wonderful server. She greeted us with a warm smile, brought us menus along with the lunch menu, chips and salsa, and promptly served our water. She gave us plenty of time to look over the menu and was friendly, attentive, and very courteous throughout our meal. The chips and salsa were very good. My only suggestion would be to offer a salsa without cilantro for those who prefer it. We ordered the Create Your Own Combo Plate, which included a chicken flauta, a crispy taco, rice, and refried beans topped with cheese for $15.50. The taco was perfectly crispy and well seasoned, while the chicken flauta was covered in a flavorful red chile sauce that had just the right amount of heat. The rice and refried beans were seasoned perfectly and complemented the meal well. We also ordered the chimichanga, smothered in cheese sauce and served with rice and refried beans, for $16.00. It was well seasoned, delicious, and satisfying. The flavors weren't overpowering--they were balanced and enjoyable, making it a dish I would gladly order again. This was my first visit to Mi Dia From Scratch, and I came away very impressed. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was lively, and the restaurant also offers a nice outdoor seating area.
