Came here with my family for a little pick me up after shopping on a gorgeous day. We had the biscuits, the fried chicken slider, the tuna tartare, Mac and cheese, oysters, and cocktail shrimp. Highlights. My favorite is probably the tartare, the flavor was perfectly balanced, the cracker was unfortunately stale, and the tuna itself could have been a little fresher. My kids had the Mac and cheese which they said was ok, and enjoyed the sliders. The oysters were good, but the shrimp did not taste fresh and were very bland like it's been soaked in water. The biscuits were tasty but I wish it was a little hotter so it would be more fluffy. I had a spicy tequila drink I forgot what it was called but the bartender did a really good job on it. The server really lacked personality and I wish was a little more attentive to provide us a good experience. I have this place 4 stars because the place is very cute and is a really good fit for the location, as a local, this can easily become a regular spot for myself and friends and it really has the potential to be this! I think it just needs good ambiance and energy and more attentive from the food quality going out? I hope to see good things happen to this place so I plan to come back and try again but maybe drinks with friends next time! read more

Our service was absolutely horrible. Waited for a coffee and then got it and then waited another 15 minutes for a creamer. Then as our food came out, it was slow to arrive at the table, so nothing was served together. The biscuits and gravy were dry with not a lot of gravy so we ordered extra gravy and that didn't come to the table until the end of our meal. The gravy was crap. Everything needed salt. On top of the food that showed up being gross, the French toast never showed up until after everyone was finished. They took off half of our meal, but I would not recommend. read more

I went with a friend for the Mother's Day buffet brunch. There were three timed seatings and we went for the one at noon. There was a bit of a backlog getting in but not a problem. The space is tight for a buffet, and we were glad to just miss being seated right next to where the diners were lining up for the buffet. They seemed to be a bit short-staffed as our server was attending to a section that included two large parties -- one of about 12 and another of 8 -- in addition to the smaller tables including ours. She came as soon as we were seated but only explained we could go up at any time and promised to bring water. We waited for her to return to take our beverage orders but finally grew impatient and got in line for the buffet. The buffet selections were scrumptious--breakfast and lunch options. The chicken and waffles seemed to be the most popular and the tray was empty when I got to it but a new batch arrived momentarily -- thank goodness! Yummy as I expected. I also had scrambled eggs and link sausages. I passed on a few other things like eggs benedict (the last in the tray which is never ideal). In hindsight the ideal time to arrive seemed to be about a half hour after your seating time, as by then the lines to the buffet were minimal (that's when I headed back for seconds). Oh and when I finally got to order my old-fashioned, it was delish. There is an attached parking garage (the red garage) and if you park at the right end of the building you just take the elevator to ground level and the restaurant is a few steps away. I'm not sure I'd return for the special celebration seatings. The price is right but the logistics, seating, slow service and lapse in keeping trays full of hot food would give me pause. I was amazed at B&B in Back Bay, so I was eager to try it out at the Watertown location! Unfortunately, compared to its Boston counterpart, Watertown lags behind. We came here with my roommate on a Friday night and it was completely empty which was strange. Nevertheless, we ordered our usual baked brie and a side of fries start, which came out amazing as always. The problem began right before placing our order, as we informed the waitstaff that my roommate has a severe tree-nut allergy. The waitstaff took it into consideration and let us know they informed the kitchen staff. When we got our entrees, however, I noticed my roommate's salad garnish on her lamb chop was chock-full of chopped pecans! I was horrified. If I hadn't noticed, she would have had an allergic reaction. I understand that there is a risk when going out to eat, but this is completely unacceptable given we gave ample notice and the salad was not pre-made with nuts. The waitstaff seemed more terrified of us than apologetic, despite us being nice and understanding. I am going to call out an allergy hazard when I see one... They switched it for us which was good and did end up apologizing, but it kind of turned me off from the rest of the dining experience. The entrees themselves were decent, I had the famous wagyu sliders but I prefer the crispy chicken sliders here. If you have an option, I'd choose the Boston location over this one. read more

I absolutely LOVED dining here! This location being such a hit makes me excited to try their Boston spot too, but if you're in the area, you can't miss this restaurant! Entering the building, you're met with such fun, celebratory yet down to earth vibes drawing inspiration from historical New Orleans! The service matches this energy with their friendly yet chill attitude and welcoming, efficient pace. As for the food itself, EVERYTHING was a hit! You absolutely have to try their tender chicken wings with their light but crisp exterior and their unique white bbq sauce to go with it! I also absolutely adored their biscuits with their hard golden brown top and their pillowy soft body; my favorite was the pimento cheese dip to go with it! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu, seriously-- it was all packed with complex flavor and a melody of textures that work perfectly together (my only advice would be to skip the beignets, they were a little doughy and off in flavor). For the quality you're getting, at a very reasonable price, this has become one of my new fav restaurants for a slightly elevated dining experience without breaking the bank. Enjoyed this one! A medium to large venue with an outdoor seating area. It's inside of a new shopping complex. There are what appears to be two garages & some limited time parking, with the most being 90mins at the end of the strip. The venue is bright, yet a lot of earth and wood tones. Definitely plays into the Bourbon Theme, although more like Bourbon street as in the food has a New Orleans & Southern style to it. The food was AMAZING!! Enjoyed every thing that we had. Staff were friendly and accommodating, service was top notch. We had the Buttermilk Fried Chicken with the waffle subbed out for the Signature Warm Honey Glazed Biscuits, Southern Style Greens, Biscuits & Gravy, & the Thick Cut Bacon. I say again, everything was amazing. The thick cut bacon is legit just regular bacon, but it was still good, lol. We also have a Bellini and the house Sangria. The chicken was crispy but lacked standout flavor, and the waffle was soggy. For $22, I expected more. Service was sit-down, but pretty minimal. No one rushed me, but it was very much a "here's your order, here's your receipt" kind of vibe -- not much interaction or attentiveness throughout the meal. The baked mac and cheese was cheesy and solid, probably the highlight of the meal. But still not enough to make me eager to come back. This place has been on my "to visit" list for years and I finally arrived...and I'm so glad I did! While not every dish was perfection, the totality of the experience was top notch and deserving of five stars. The Watertown location is a bit hard to find and, if you are using GPS, be prepared for some harrowing quick turns and maneuvering that will make you question whether it is worth it. But trust me, it is! When I finally arrived and parked in the free parking garage, I got a bit turned around when the elevator let me out inside the Rosche grocery store. But I eventually made it out and to the restaurant that is below the garage and beside the grocery store. It has a somewhat dark but festive vibe, with old school top forty music setting the mood. The food had a southern flair that the very pleasant waitress said is Louisiana inspired. I started with the biscuits and OMG were they savory, soft and with a bit of upper crust crunch delicious! They provide a couple of spreads, and the cinnamon butter was my favorite. I also tried the BBQ ribs, which were tender and perfectly seasoned and glazed. The fried chicken sliders were also glazed and the glaze on them was a bit too much. But they too were tender and very large for a slider. They are definitely worth sharing with your table mate(s). The BBQ shrimp was delicious as well but not very plentiful. I tried a couple of sides, specifically the greens (wonderful) and jalapeño grits (just ok but not special). The honey butter old fashioned was a nice rendition of a timeless classic, and the elixir bourbon was equally delicious. While I wanted to try the bread pudding or the beignets, I was too stuffed. I love the location in the city so I was eager to try out this location as I was in the area today. The food was great but the bar service was lack luster. The bartender was not super attentive and it wasn't packed. I'm not high maintenance so I don't require much but I was dismayed when she went over the menu and mentioned special offers such as half off the biscuits (which yes I'm aware is an offer for everyone) but didn't think to mention that to me. She also checked in once to see if I needed anything while I was there for an hour. What made me want to write a review was when I asked for my check. I gave my card and closed out the transaction and she then began to walk away. No thank you no nothing. The women beside me even looked over at me like that's weird. When she walked back over to collect my dishes I said thank you at which point she then said no problem. Not a huge deal but I've worked in hospitality and it's just common courtesy to say thank you or simply acknowledge your guests and try to offer the same quality of service to all your guests. Upon arrival, we were hit by a wall of sound so loud I could not hear the hostess who was about 3 feet in front of me. I asked her if the "music" is always this loud and she smiled and nodded yes. She found us a very nice table , but I couldn't even hear anything my friend was saying; it was unbearable (I bet the corporate computer can't even lower the music). After waiting for a server that seemed like a millennium, we decided to leave and had a nice meal at City Works. Great place if you're deaf and know sign language, but forget having a conversation. This was my first time trying southern comfort food, and I was honestly blown away. The food in Buttermilk and Bourbon is absolutely delicious. It's all so fresh, and the taste of the food is exceptional. I have to give a special mention to the biscuits - they were so crumbly and delicious and they melted in my mouth, and the cauliflower was bursting with flavor - I was so sad when we finished it! The restaurant itself has such a nice, elegant vibe, and it's also very relaxed and cozy, and it has a beautiful interior, which adds to the already amazing dining experience. The service is also incredible - our server was so friendly and considerate, and he made the experience even better. I have no clue why this place isn't higher rated here on Yelp. The four of us had an outstanding Saturday dinner a few weeks ago. We were greeted warmly and seated promptly (had reservations). Easy parking. The restaurant is gorgeous. We were immediately brought water and promptly ordered drinks, which were all good when they shortly arrived. The menu is not large but had plenty of really good sounding items. We narrowed down our choices to sharing the biscuits, the brisket nachos, carrot "salad" and a tater tot special of the night. Doesn't sound like a lot for four people, but it was just right for four people. Favorite had to be the amazing tot dish. They MUST add this to the permanent menu! We all loved the brisket nachos and the biscuits certainly lived up to their mammoth delicious reputation. Note: if the menu calls for pickled onions of any kind, just go ahead and order it. They know how to make them and it adds to everything. The only slight disappointment were the carrots. They were just not what was expected. Not a salad at all. But beautifully roasted carrots. Very rich. Still very good, but no one fought me for the rest of them. All the food is rich, but surprisingly the prices are not for rich folks. For the four of us, the total bill (before tip) was only $115. A STEAL in this part of the world for this quality. read more

We also got the biscuits for the table and I ordered the brisket hash. It was okay, but a little salty. I wish there was more brisket in it. The pieces of beef were pretty small and a little dry. The potatoes were fine, but overall it was pretty vinegary with the pepperoncinis. The blueberry pancakes were great, though! Very fluffy and perfectly sized. Damn why the hate on B&B?!?! I was also quite worried that it would be overrated BUT the food was really good. I went for brunch and we started with the wild mushroom pesto toast and it was incredible. I liked how well the flavors all worked together - it was an umami bomb to start with. The chicken and waffles were pretty decent. The chicken was juicy and flavorful, but the star of the show was the honey butter. It complements both parts of the dish. Finally for dessert, we got the beignets, which were pillowy soft and the rich dark chocolate sauce really makes me reminisce on this dish. It is a little expensive for the amount of food you get, but it's worth it from time to time. I didn't really understand the decor or ambiance of this restaurant but it was pretty nice. Everything had so much flavor and even though each dish was very different from the next, they all complimented each other well. We sat at a weird half moon table that faced out so it was a little awkward for talking but was good for food sharing! We ordered a lot of sharing plates but I felt like the biggest stand out was the chicken (as it should be!)! It was so good, crispy was a good amount for everyone. The biscuits were also sooo good they had a sweet butter and a pimento cheese butter and it was so good! Everything else was very mid would go back but nothing super stand out. Really enjoyed this spot. The vibe is Nola and the food is outstanding. We had the chicken sliders, duck confit, and the beignets. Everything was fresh and tasty. The chicken was juicy and perfectly fried. The duck confit was amazing. Also tried the Blue Voodoo IPA collab with the chef/owner who was also on site running the kitchen.
