This is a much larger location than Back Bay and not as cozy, but I think the food and drinks are better! Maybe they have a larger kitchen here? This location is accessible via a public transportation, though you have to take the bus not the subway. There's plenty of free parking at the parking garage next-door.

I absolutely LOVED dining here! This location being such a hit makes me excited to try their Boston spot too, but if you're in the area, you can't miss this restaurant! Entering the building, you're met with such fun, celebratory yet down to earth vibes drawing inspiration from historical New Orleans! The service matches this energy with their friendly yet chill attitude and welcoming, efficient pace. As for the food itself, EVERYTHING was a hit! You absolutely have to try their tender chicken wings with their light but crisp exterior and their unique white bbq sauce to go with it! I also absolutely adored their biscuits with their hard golden brown top and their pillowy soft body; my favorite was the pimento cheese dip to go with it! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu, seriously-- it was all packed with complex flavor and a melody of textures that work perfectly together (my only advice would be to skip the beignets, they were a little doughy and off in flavor). For the quality you're getting, at a very reasonable price, this has become one of my new fav restaurants for a slightly elevated dining experience without breaking the bank. I was a huge fan and will definitely be back!

Enjoyed this one! A medium to large venue with an outdoor seating area. It's inside of a new shopping complex. There are what appears to be two garages & some limited time parking, with the most being 90mins at the end of the strip. The venue is bright, yet a lot of earth and wood tones. Definitely plays into the Bourbon Theme, although more like Bourbon street as in the food has a New Orleans & Southern style to it. The food was AMAZING!! Enjoyed every thing that we had. Staff were friendly and accommodating, service was top notch. We had the Buttermilk Fried Chicken with the waffle subbed out for the Signature Warm Honey Glazed Biscuits, Southern Style Greens, Biscuits & Gravy, & the Thick Cut Bacon. I say again, everything was amazing. The thick cut bacon is legit just regular bacon, but it was still good, lol. We also have a Bellini and the house Sangria. This place makes the list of places to visit again next time I'm in Massachusetts. Came here without a reservation with my family on a Saturday morning, and we were seated immediately. The restaurant has a cute and cozy vibe, and it's super conveniently located to a bunch of shopping! Service was a little bit slow, bit not horrible, they were just understaffed which is pretty common these days! Overall the food was yummy and fresh, and prices were reasonable for what we got!

I've been here twice not my fav place. Food is okay. Chicken sliders are best. Plenty of seating, darker lights, good service, but just not the tastiest food.

Some very tasty food! Southern classics with a modern twist, really liked the menu options and the service was top marks, friendly and efficient! It's on our return list now. Fun atmosphere good background music too!

I'd been wanting to try this place for a while, and finally got the chance -- but unfortunately, it didn't live up to the hype. I ordered the chicken and waffles, and it was just okay. The chicken was crispy but lacked standout flavor, and the waffle was soggy. For $22, I expected more. Service was sit-down, but pretty minimal. No one rushed me, but it was very much a "here's your order, here's your receipt" kind of vibe -- not much interaction or attentiveness throughout the meal. The baked mac and cheese was cheesy and solid, probably the highlight of the meal. But still not enough to make me eager to come back. No complimentary bread, and $18 for a basket of biscuits felt excessive. Glad I finally got to try it, but nothing about the experience made me want to return or recommend it.

This place has been on my "to visit" list for years and I finally arrived...and I'm so glad I did! While not every dish was perfection, the totality of the experience was top notch and deserving of five stars. The Watertown location is a bit hard to find and, if you are using GPS, be prepared for some harrowing quick turns and maneuvering that will make you question whether it is worth it. But trust me, it is! When I finally arrived and parked in the free parking garage, I got a bit turned around when the elevator let me out inside the Rosche grocery store. But I eventually made it out and to the restaurant that is below the garage and beside the grocery store. It has a somewhat dark but festive vibe, with old school top forty music setting the mood. The food had a southern flair that the very pleasant waitress said is Louisiana inspired. I started with the biscuits and OMG were they savory, soft and with a bit of upper crust crunch delicious! They provide a couple of spreads, and the cinnamon butter was my favorite. I also tried the BBQ ribs, which were tender and perfectly seasoned and glazed. The fried chicken sliders were also glazed and the glaze on them was a bit too much. But they too were tender and very large for a slider. They are definitely worth sharing with your table mate(s). The BBQ shrimp was delicious as well but not very plentiful. I tried a couple of sides, specifically the greens (wonderful) and jalapeño grits (just ok but not special). The honey butter old fashioned was a nice rendition of a timeless classic, and the elixir bourbon was equally delicious. While I wanted to try the bread pudding or the beignets, I was too stuffed. I guess that will have to be a future visit. I certainly see B&B in my future!!!

Best place in the neighborhood to hangout with friends and family. The device was fast and the staffs are friendly

We went to Buttermilk and Bourbon after seeing a movie, the hostess and waitresses were very friendly and made our visit an enjoyable experience. The oysters were fresh and the crab cakes were surprisingly good for the Boston area. The chicken wings were tasty but could use a little more crispiness. The atmosphere was vibrant and the decor was a nice homage to NOLA.

I went for brunch and enjoyed it. The chicken and waffles are pretty good and so are the biscuits. The service was great as well!

Let me just say this--I'm hooked. Buttermilk & Bourbon in Watertown is one of those places where every dish that hits the table makes you pause, take a bite, and go, "Wait... this is insane." The vibe? Southern charm with serious swagger. From the moment you walk in, it's got that sultry, moody New Orleans feel--dim lighting, funky decor, and just the right amount of edge. You could roll in dressed up or laid-back and still feel like you belong. Now the food... every. single. dish. is a knockout. From the buttermilk fried chicken to the honey-glazed biscuits to the creamy grits, crispy Brussels, and crawfish mac--it's like flavor overload in the best way possible. Rich, comforting, and just straight-up delicious. I haven't met a plate here I didn't like--and trust, I've tried a lot of them. The drinks are just as impressive--playful, bold, and strong enough to keep the night going. And the service? Friendly, fast, and happy to recommend a favorite (which is hard, because everything's a favorite). Buttermilk & Bourbon is the kind of spot that keeps you coming back--not just for the food, but for the whole experience. If you haven't been, go. If you have, you already know.

The restaurant is tapas style meaning they bring the food out as it is ready versus bringing everything out at the same time. It opens at 5:00 for dinners. Since I arrived at 4:39, I sat at the bar. The parking is limited. Everything is a late carte meaning everything is ordered individually. The sides are ordered separately from the entrees. This place is relatively new opening just after Covid. I ordered the marinated swordfish with potato salad. I was hungry afterwards so side orders are definitely necessary If you go here make sure to order the sides or multiple entrees.

    Is the patio dog-friendly?

I wouldn't call it a patio, as much as I would the sidewalk. I have seen dogs, at there owners feet ,outside.

Why is there no sazerac on the cocktail menu? It would be nice if the bartender were at least prepared to make one on request

Ive had their house Sazerac as a special, and have ordered it even when I didn't see it in the menu. So I know they have it and can make a decent one.

Are there gluten free options (celiac)?

I don't recall seeing any but the menu is very limite; if you browse it, you'll know.

Tried Sala Restobar in Beverly and overall it was a pretty underwhelming experience…read more We started with drinks -- I ordered a piña colada expecting it to be blended, but it came unblended. Nothing on the menu or from the server mentioned that, which was disappointing right away. When I told the server I didn't like it and wanted something else, he literally tilted his head and said, "ummm what do I tell the bartender?" That honestly rubbed me the wrong way -- just felt unprofessional and awkward. Jenny got a tequila cosmo, which was fine, nothing special. Food-wise, everything was just average. The bao buns were overcooked and the bun fell apart, though the flavor was decent. The pineapple fried rice was probably the best thing we had, but even that was just okay. We also had dumplings -- Jenny liked them, but I thought they were just alright. Dessert was the biggest miss. The blueberry cobbler was not good at all -- maybe a 3/10 at best. One thing that really didn't sit right was when we asked to split the tasting menu and were told no. That doesn't make much sense -- if people want to share, especially for a tasting menu, it should be allowed. Overall, nothing stood out in a good way, and between the service and the food, solid ambiance , it just wasn't a great experience.
