[[HIGHLIGHT]]A masculine designed restaurant with mood lighting very typical of a steakhouse.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We came here on a Sunday night an hour before kitchen close so happy the staff could accommodate to us! We came here for a birthday steak dinner and this place did not disappoint. For the steaks outside of the beef turnedos, it comes by itself with no sides. The place really highlight its meats & all were cooked the way we liked - medium rare/medium. We also got a bottle of cab sav which went well with the steaks. For all of this it was just under $400 without tip which was way cheaper than our original plan of eating at Rare in Encore. Casino steak prices were $100+ so this was well worth it!

I'll confess that if it wasn't for a friend of mine asking to meet me here for dinner, I would have never stepped foot into this place. I've driven by and seen their sign so many times while on the mass pike but never felt even the slightest desire to look them up. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The logo and name made me immediately assume that they were just another American steakhouse and not someplace I would bother going to.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Not that steakhouses are a bad thing...but that I really disliked how most of these places handle the meat I ordered. So when my friend asked to have dinner there, I actually repeatedly clarified over a good part of the day if that was really the final choice. To which, he remained firm and asked me to give them a chance. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It felt more like some mountain resort lodge when I first walked up to it. Felt even more so when I entered. I wouldn't say it was dated but it sure felt like a historic landmark.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The man at the desk checking people in had a very dry and emotionless demeanor when we went up to get a table - a complete contrast to how he interacted with other folk coming in. Almost made me feel like we weren't welcome at all. However, the moment we got to our table, we were met by Cassandra, our super awesome and friendly server, whose charming demeanor made us quickly forget the grinch out front. We lost track of time. We were never rushed. We were attended to well...so at that point, I'll just say that service within was absolutely spot on. Apps were good. Oysters were fresh and shucked very well (and clean). Sides were great. But what converted me as someone that is an overly particular carnivore towards thicker cuts is their grasp of meat temperature. When I asked Cassandra if the kitchen actually temps their meat, she responded without hesitation that they did. So I asked for my thick pork chop to be cooked to 135 since it coasts to my preferred temp by the time it gets to me. The pork chop was perfectly cooked to my exact preferences. I honestly don't know when is the last time a server was *that* confident about their kitchen team getting a temp perfect. She was right to exude that confidence. We really enjoyed our time here and I would have definitely rated tonight a 5 out of 5 until we started walking towards the front door. Grinch was still there. We looked over, waved and said, "Goodnight, thank you." Silence was all we received. So weird. Just so weird lol.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Amazing vibes but a bit overpriced for what it is.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We got the tomahawk steak with two sides but the sides were really small - we got the Mac n cheese and asparagus

We had reservations at The Stockyard for Easter dinner. The staff greeting us were very friendly and had their bunny ears on. I love fun people. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We decided to sit at the bar rather than our reserved table as we enjoy sitting with the bartenders.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We chose the smaller, more intimate bar. Well, our bartender, Mark, did not disappoint. He has such an amazing personality and makes the best cocktails. He was so accommodating and made our Easter dinner memorable. I hope the next time we go for dinner there, Mark is working. He is made for that job. We started with the oysters. The frozen ice the condiments come in are really a nice addition as well as the super cold plate the oysters were served on. We split the Tomahawk steak and our sides were the asparagus and loaded mashed potatoes. So delicious. Their own steak sauce is really very good. Not overpowering, just right. I had a pomegranate martini, which was perfectly crafted, thanks Mark! On our way out we forgot something at the bar, Mark came out to the parking lot, found us and made sure we left with it. You are lucky to have such a dedicated employee.

Family staple. Get the Ribeye or Filet. Oysters and Cajun shrimp. Lamb chops if they're in special are excellent. For dessert chocolate cake or waffle bread pudding.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]ambiance is southern.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] our server Samantha was fantastic. food is ok. our plates sat idle in the kitchen for awhile. everyone's food came out cold. the juices from the steaks was on the plates. i got the prime rib, asked for medium rare. it came out medium. glad to have tried.

This makes me really sad to write because this restaurant has been a staple in my husband and I's life but there's something about the restaurant that's gone down hill. Drinks are still good, but the food is just not the same quality that it used to be. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We'll continue to go because of its close proximity and the cozy vibe inside, but I'm hoping for a better meal in the future![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

In town for some good steak and saw some good recommendations for this place and there we went, someone mentioned the union soup was not to miss so i tired it. I'll pass on that next time. Came here for the tomahawk and it didn't disappoint. Everything else from the sides and clam chowder was just ok. What made it for everything else was the service. Our waiter was very attentive and accommodating, (well deserved tip). We also did not make reservations and were seated without much wait to a packed restaurant with 90 mins before closing.

The Stockyard keeps going to the bitter end! First, great parking lot. It's huge. It also feels quieter, and belies how close you are to Boston. The restaurant is also huge, I think I counted three dining rooms and a huge bar. I got there on the later side, and even as people were slowly filing out the servers kept going with food and drinks. Fantastic staff! The portions were huge. My burger was delicious and well seasoned. The fries were a bit of a mix in crisp, but if I lived in the area it would have been enough for lunch the next day.

My wife surprised me with a special celebration meal here! I'd been craving my first Tomahawk steak for two years, and this place delivered a magnificent 32-ounce, 42-day aged masterpiece. It wasn't the cheapest, but absolutely worth every penny! I paired it with grilled asparagus, a baked potato, and plenty of béarnaise sauce--pure heaven! The Tomahawk arrived pre-sliced, which isn't usually my preference, but after the first bite, I didn't care one bit. It was simply FANTASTIC. We started with a delicious shrimp cocktail with plump, juicy shrimp, and shared a classic wedge salad. And of course, the cocktails, wine, and beer were perfect. I always have high expectations here, especially for the food, drinks, and service. The serving staff, especially the bartender, was exceptional! We love sitting at the bar when it's just the two or three of us. The servers were all friendly, engaging, and a joy to chat with. We came early on a Friday evening and got to witness the restaurant fill up, watching a smoothly operating team spring into action. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I always feel so happy and relaxed here, whether it's just us or when we bring guests.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The warm, dark wood ambiance, the pleasant background music, and the lively atmosphere of people enjoying themselves--it's all wonderful.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There's a reason this is one of our favorite spots, whether it's for a quick appetizer and drinks or a full-blown dinner with a group. Relax and let these fantastic folks treat you to a truly delicious experience. .

I'm happy to report--it was real, and we had a great brunch! We made a reservation, were seated without any issues, and the service was attentive throughout our meal. I ordered the steak and eggs with a mixed salad, while my boyfriend got the steak frites and a yogurt parfait with dried fruit and granola. He's usually not a fan of parfaits, but he ended up loving it. The portions were just right--filling without leaving you overly stuffed. My only small critique is that the steak was sliced pretty thin, so it didn't quite feel like the best value for the price, even though it was flavorful and cooked well. And yes, the 25-cent brunch cocktails are actually real! They made the whole experience even more fun. We'd definitely come back for brunch.

The bread came out very warm and was crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside. The salad was heavily dressed (which we appreciated) and was a nice, light starter. I didn't ask, but a second round of salad would've been cool too. They offered fresh cracked pepper for my salad. The steak was fine. It was very thinly sliced, and while this made the steak tender, I left feeling like I could've eaten more. The second round came by when we were about halfway through with the first round. While I appreciated that it was automatically sent out, I wish I could've made the request when I was ready. This made the meal feel rushed and sort of unsanitary; the new round was just slapped on top of the old one and I wondered how many other dishes the tongs had served before touching mine. It's the same logic as going to the buffet; you always get a fresh plate to minimize cross-contamination and having a second round come out on a different plate would've bumped up the experience for me and created a better sense of value (even with the same amount of food). They didn't offer fresh pepper for my steak, but I think that's the only other thing that would've bumped up the flavor for me. The sauce was good. It had a strong earthy, mushroom flavor and was nice for the steak but was also a great sauce for the fries too. I get why folks rave about the sauce. We ended up getting the carrot cake to finish and this was the best part of the meal (which is a little sad if they don't make it themselves). It was moist, had nuts and raisins, and came out as a nice hefty wedge. If you're not completely full at the end of the meal and don't feel like anything else for dessert in the area (ice cream, cookies, donuts, etc.), their desserts aren't a bad option.

We're so glad we decided to come back for such a special occasion. The atmosphere: Capricho has a charming and cozy dining room that creates an intimate, welcoming atmosphere. It's the kind of place that feels perfect for celebrating special moments with loved ones. The food: We were welcomed with complimentary plantain chips served alongside a light, fresh dipping sauce, which was a great start to the meal. My table opted for the prix fixe menu, which allowed us to sample a variety of dishes. For starters, we ordered the Papas Rellenas and Yucca Croquettes. Both were light, flavorful, and paired beautifully with their accompanying sauces. We also added the Charred Octopus, which was incredibly tender, not chewy at all, and packed with flavor. For my entrée, I chose the Steak Frites, served with brussels sprouts and fries. I'm usually not a fan of brussels sprouts, but these were crispy, airy, and perfectly seasoned. The steak was cooked well, and while I enjoyed the dish overall, I do wish the fries had been cooked a bit longer, as they were slightly underdone for my preference. For dessert, I tried the Dulce de Maracuyá, a panna cotta-style dessert featuring mango and passionfruit flavors. It wasn't overly sweet, which I appreciated, and the bright, fruity notes provided a refreshing end to the meal. The service: The service was fantastic. Everyone was warm and welcoming, and our server brought such great energy and personality to the experience. The hospitality felt genuinely personal and made our celebration even more memorable.

One thing has changed, though: the Ghost of Mary. Scotty, the former bar manager, created what's still my favorite cocktail of all time. Food-wise, none of the dishes we got particularly wowed me (the sauces that came with each dish were better than the actual food) but I'd come back to try other things from the very extensive list. We got: 1. Patatas bravas: The best thing we got, though we should have eaten this when it was still hot and crispy. After sitting out for a while, it became a mushy mess with the sauce. 2. Spiced meatballs: Very small size for the meatball and not much spice (like less than a bite) but the sauce was excellent. 3. Jamon croquettes: Not bad but the filling was pretty gluey in texture. Definitely need to eat with the accompanying sauce. I ended up dunking it in the sauce that came with the meatballs. 4. Grilled peaches: Intrigued by this summer offering but I'd say skip. For $7, we got five very small slices of peach in an indistinguishable, vaguely sugary/burnt sauce. If you have a grill and a peach, you can definitely make a much better version of this for far cheaper. 5. Shrimp in garlic sauce: Fell flat. The shrimp were small and extremely overcooked. The only saving grace of this dish was the scallion/garlic oil that we used to dip the extra bread in. Food came out very fast and our waitress came by often to check on us and see if we needed. Lots of parking options nearby (including free 2-hour options one block over) so if you're debating which location of Barcelona to go to, the parking alone could weigh in favor of this one.
