One of our favorite places to go in Peddler's Village. Great vegetarian options and very friendly and fast service. Lots of fun drink options (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic). During peak times it gets very busy so I recommend putting your name in ASAP then wandering around Peddler's Village until you get texted to come to your table. read more

I was looking for French Onion soup, but Buttonwood Grill doesn't have it, but they do have a today's soup and a yesterdays soup as well. We settled for a personal 12" pan pizza with shaved pepperoni, 12 bucks! I must admit, this was one of the best pizza's we shared in a long time. The dough was thin crust and the sauce was very good. The pepperoni was not your typical sliced, but shaved from the sides. With a little red pepper flakes, it was very delicious. At only $3.50, we also shared an order of crisp sweet potato fries and seasoned perfectly too. A tapped lager beer was only $4.00. This place was noted for it popular burgers and served with a big whole pickle on top. We'll get that next time. read more

We have eaten here several times for lunch and dinner as a couple and also with family and friends. We've never been disappointed. The large menu accommodates all dietary restrictions-- which, as vegetarians, we greatly appreciate -- and the prices are reasonable. From the outside, it looks to be much more expensive than it actually is. Inside, the ambiance is country colonial casual - perfect if you seek the Bucks County vibe. Hosts, servers are friendly and accommodating. It gets crowded on weekends and when Peddlers Village has a special event going on, so be prepared to wait if you don't have a reservation. read more

We came as a large group of 9- and it was a good experience overall. We were seated in a separate room with a large table, which ended up being perfect since of the group, 6 people were children. The kids had a little more free range then usual to roam, and we all felt at ease being able to talk/mingle. I had the vanilla cider cocktail, which was excellent, albeit expensive at $10. I also had the grandma pizza, which was just ok. Like previous reviews have stated, it was a little greasy and not at all crispy. I had considered a burger or fish tacos, which might have been a better choice. My husband and two other dining companions got the Guinness burger, which everyone loved. It was definitely the star of the day. The kids meals were average-- pizzas, chicken fingers, and sliders. My only issue is the pricing on the kids meals-- $8 is steep for a kids meal, and the portions are not at all generous for that. The regular burger on the menu is $10, and we could have gotten one and split it between two kids rather then get an $8 entree for kids. The menu also lists desserts for the kids menu, which were not offered to any of the kids and would have been a welcome treat. Oh well. Overall, the service was attentive, the food was tasty and the experience was enjoyable. I would return again for sure (and will, as we come up annually for the scare crow festival). I just might consider the kids menu a little more closely next time. read more

Our server was amazing, I tried the Sauvignon Blanc Seawood (I think it was called), the fish tacos and my brother tried the BBQ onion burger. Third time experiencing really bad food & service and I'm not going back. I used to really like this having lunch and dinners at the Buttonwood Grill but its not the same place anymore. Lunch started with poorly trained server taking 20 minutes (place was empty except for only four tables of people in the whole place with multiple servers) to bring a beer that was literally flat. I mean literally - like it was sitting in a glass for hours. Had to send it back and seeing the beer the server agreed something was off. Then why serve it? What was one of the best burgers places in town now served a patty of unseasoned meat put on a roll with bland toppings. The once crisp fresh french fries that used to be quickly devoured were now delivered old and tasteless and sat half eaten on our table. This was the third time this year and it has only gotten worse. Owners need to turn it around or it'll be known locally as a tourist trap. Won't be back. read more

We ate here about a year ago and we still talk about how much we enjoyed the food. It was 6 of us; my 2 friends and our daughters. It was the scarecrow exhibit, so obviously busy, but we didn't wait long for an outside table. The server was attentive and the food was fast. Great kids menu with all the essential "kid food" haha! My girlfriends and I shared Buffalo cauliflower, the white pizza with mushrooms & two other things, but I can't remember what they were. What I remember was we LOVED everything we ordered. I have always believed your memory of how great the food is somewhere is based on positive service, quality atmosphere, speed of food delivery, and the food. We were staying in the Golden Plough Inn right above the Buttonwood grill, loved the ambiance and the food so much that ended up going there two consecutive nights. Their burgers are actually good,I had the Guinness onion n bacon burger. It was really good. Among others, we tried the ribs, south philly pizza and fire n ice wings. No complaints. The cocktails were a bit overpriced, between 11-12 dollars on an average. But overall we were very pleased with the food. P.S. a tip for the restaurent authority if you are reading this. On our second visit we were seated at the third table by the windows, down the stairs, on the wall with windows facing the Peddler's Village. There is a hole under one of the windows. We could feel a cool draft of air coming in. We called it out to the lady who was serving us and were promptly offered to change tables. We had settled with our drinks by then already, and it was not that bothersome to us. So decided against it and put my jacket over my legs. May be something you would want to fix in near future. read more

It was a beautiful day, the sun was shining, the birds were singing and we were promptly seated outside at a nice table with an umbrella. Our server said she would be right with us. So we waited. And waited. And waited. 15 minutes go by and she comes over for the drink order. We order the food at the same time and also request a sample of blue cheese (for our son who wanted it on a burger, but had never tried it before sans dip). After we order, the table next to us is seated. And we wait and receive our waters/lemonade. We wait some more and the table next to us (the one that was seated after we ordered) receives their food. By now, our kids are clamoring for food (as am I... internally). About 10 minutes after the table next to us gets their full lunch order (about 25 minutes after we order), we get our food. Normally not a big issue except, the plate for the onion rings was so hot that the dip had a dried out layer on top. The plate for the wings, also very hot. The plate for the ribs... also very hot. One of my pet peeves is when my perfectly good food is ready, and it just sits there, under a heat lamp, cooking more.... If nothing else, I would much prefer you bring out what's ready, or at least let us know that it's partly ready and ask if we want to wait. I get that our server was busy, but someone else brought out the food anyway... Actually quality of the food: Onion ring stack was my fav - great texture and if the top layer of the sauce hadn't thickened under the heat lamp, it would have been perfect. Ribs - my least favorite. Too chewy and dry (not sure if it's normally like that or was exacerbated by the heat lamp). Extra BBQ sauce was not able to save it. Burger - looked good, slightly over cooked (we asked for medium well and it came out well done, but it's not that different so I'll give it a pass). Cheese Pizza (kids) - good taste and texture. Love that they first give carrots and celery to the kids (before any of the other food came). Decent size for the cooked carrots on the side. Wings - didn't try them, looked dry but were edible. Overall, I get that they were busy, but I can't get over the fact that someone seated at least 15 minutes after us got their food 10 minutes before us, and that the reason was because our food was waiting under a heat lamp. read more

We go here a few times a year. Husband raves about the burgers. I'm a fan of the butternut squash and goat cheese salad (wish the portions on salads were larger though for the price charged). We've had the pizzas and my fav is def the mushroom. And the vegetarian Shepard's pie is super delish but warning, it comes out so pipping hot you can't enjoy eating it for a bit til it cools down or you will burn the roof of your mouth!! The boyfriend & I went to Peddler's Village for the lights which I coworker recommended and recommended this place. First, the holiday lights are pretty so I would recommend going to see them before they're taken down! Driving by this place before parking, we noticed a big line outside so we called to make reservations about 5 and was told they are no longer taking reservations; Understandable since there is such a wait and people might not show up. But the wait time is long enough for you to put a name down & go walk around; which is what we did! We went inside & was told it was about an hour wait so we went to take a walk to check out the shops & lights. Coming back, it was about another 30 minute wait but from the first time we walked in, we liked the atmosphere & the food smelled good! We had the FIRE 'N ICE CHICKEN WINGS, MEATLOAF "BUTCHER'S STYLE" & GRANDMA MIA PIZZA. We were going to get ribs instead of pizza but then someone walked by with pizza and we immediately looked at each other and knew. Our pizza was good and you can ask them so add toppings like we did. Whatever you want; except pineapples because the only pineapples they have is in a mix. =P As we figured, the pizza was yummy. I was afraid it might be a little soggy when I saw someone pick it up but it was just right. And we really liked the crust! The meatloaf came with mash potatoes and spinach. I liked the mash; boyfriend didn't but we both thought tim meatloaf was a bit dry. The wings were good; a little spicy which we liked. You also get a plate of 3 different kinds of bread with a sweet kind of butter that was good. The service was good & our waitress was very friendly & easy to talk to. If we're back in the area we'll probably be back for the pizza! They promote their burger, and the Quality if the beef was high, but it was served warm, not hot, and the accompanying ingredients (avocado, tomato, lettuce and other items) were tasteless. Had a very enjoyable lunch here. Sat outside on the patio on a Sunday afternoon. Enjoyed an extremely fresh salad with blackened salmon avocado, dollop of Greek yogurt, and citrus vinaigrette. Salmon was perfectly cooked-moist with a crisp sear. The hubby had the albacore tuna sandwich on a Hawaiian style Bun with fries. His was also very good. Our waitress doubled as the bartender so service was a little slow, plus she seemed a little disinterested. The waitress serving the tables around us was very friendly and informative. This place definitely has us. From amazing outside scenic deck, to great variety of pizza and burgers, you will definitely be back for more. Been here a few times now and haven't had an issue. Great, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Nice size portions at a reasonable price for the area. And man, they have one of the best burgers that I've ever had so far. Definitely recommend the Roasted Butternut Squash Humus. I am not a fan of squash, but this dish is amazing. Any burger on the menu will be a great choice to start as is their pizza. Finally a sunny day! Took the Jeep out for a cruise and ended up in Peddler's Village. Tip for the guys: Hewn Distillery and Free Will Brewing offer beverages to go and you can walk around the village and stores with a cold one while your lady shops. Win- win if you ask me. Anyway, we wanted to dine outside and ended up here. We each had a pizza- Kennet Square with Gorgonzola and mushrooms and Mama something or other with fresh tomato sauce, pesto and garlic. Both were really good, thin, with a crunchy outer crust. Our server was chatty, which was endearing and seemed earnest. The cucumber cocktail was refreshing on this hot day, too. read more

We came here with friends who have ate here before. What we found was a chiche eating spot with superb service. We had a group of 9 with us and our server Sam set us up in a nice area of the restaurant. She was extremely attentive and took care of us like we were old friends. The food itself was excellent.I enjoyed a salmon burger that was made to perfection. The sweet potato fries were very good and not cooked too hard or too soft. I would say that "touristy" is the right word to describe this restaurant. But, from what I've seen and read, all restaurants in Peddlers Village are going to be touristy. This is just an average restaurant. Nothing too special. The butternut squash hummus was the highloght of the evening although there was not enough pita and we had to ask for more. The appetizer took a very long time to arrive at the table. I had the Guinness Burger which was pretty good although not excellent. My wife had the black bean burger which was not to her liking and so we sent it back. Our waiter was kind and conversational but service was slow. The atmosphere fit well with peddlers village which is what you are paying for when you dine here. If we had had more time we would have taken the advice of other yelpers and eaten outside of the village. read more

Buttonwood is my family and I's favorite restaurant for a great, juicy, affordable burger with the option of cheese and sides. We always go with fries, they are addicting. Disappointing time here. Food was ok. The meals were small for how much they cost. The server was not writing anyone's orders down. Our table asked for a round of waters and I asked for a glass of Merlot red wine. When the server came back to give our waters, the server re-asked me what I wanted. I told the server again that I would like a Merlot and still did not write my order down. The server came back with a white wine instead and quickly walked away. I had to wait til our food came to explain that I wanted a Merlot red wine not a white wine. At this point, we also realized we had no silverware for our food we were just served. After a few minutes, the server did come back and remember to give us silverware. As the server started to walk away, the server then quickly turned around and remembered to go get the wine. By the time I got my glass of wine, my meal was almost finished so I had to drink most of it after eating. Would not recommend coming here again. read more

Black bean burger with fries was incredible! The last time I was hear I had the salmon and that was too. This place is deceiving, it may not look like much but they consistently have great food. Look at the other reviews and you can see that too. I might agree with during the weeknights it's staffed a little light but I wasn't in a rush so I didn't mind. I met the manager and he was nothing but nice and the bartender who is waited on me too. I would love this place to be renovated a bit and a few more tables added? But I'm glad I discovered it on a work trip. I will definitely come here more often now! read more

My wife tried the Grilled Turkey O'Keefe, which used to be pretty enjoyable, but, in her view, is now no longer a good option. The most disappointing aspect of our visit was the service, which was solid at one time. It was Poor at best last evening, if you can even call what we received service. They are short on servers, but no excuse for the inattentive service. Your best bet is to order the burgers and fries for takeout. Save yourself the aggravation. read more

The place has really great burgers. The black bean burger is one of the best I've had. The beef burgers are also phenomenal. Haven't had much else here because we loved the burgers so much. The bar has a large variety of beers to pair with your meal. The onion ring appetizer is also very good. Can't really go wrong with fried onions. The atmosphere is fun, lots of TVs if you want to catch a game, but still feels upscale at the same time. Only down side, if you're going on a weekend when Peddler's is all decked out of winter there is a really long wait. It's worth it, but maybe go earlier than you'd actually want to eat so a table is ready by the time you're hungry. read more
