Buzz's has a wide selection of food. It's a very popular local's hangout, and parking on weekends and evenings is often a bit tricky. Outdoor patio seating is a great option in the Slring, Summer, and Fall when the weather is good.

Beautiful night. We love finding new industry weekend joints!

Fab service. Exceptional service at the bar. Ono grindz. Beautiful, big heaping portion of bulgogi stir fry with plenty of green onion and bok choy! Husband ate the Kalbi, side rice, side kimchi. I love that they carry athletic brewing and yummy ginger beer, and the al fresco ambiance is superb. Will definitely be back to take a night off of cooking as a restaurant industry couple. Broke da mouth. Both bartenders ameliorated our experience!

Our entrees: French Dip & Prawn basket.

Amazing atmosphere, amazing service, amazing food. Our entrees: French Dip & Prawn basket. French dip was amazing, love their au ju sauce. My prawns were delicious, I really loved the coleslaw, garlic bread, and cocktail sauce that was a little "spicy", 10/10. We asked for the French dip to be made without butter and cheese due to an allergy and they were accommodating. This is a great place for food and drinks, fair pricing, amazing views, great music, and lots to do inside as well like pull tabs, pool, claw machine, etc.

An update is much needed. We eat and drink here all the time now and it's quite the drive for us, but it's worth it. The service is better than anywhere else that we frequent. The food is great nowadays. The prices are relatively affordable compared to other places where the service at those places is inferior to say the least. Great place to go watch the game with a group of friends and there's outdoor seating for the summer and covered area too out there. The bar is long and the stools are just the right height. Bigger tables for groups and just right on the lighting not to dark or bright. Also the food comes out very quickly and always hot!

Once again wonderful, friendly, fast service. Delicious onion rings and burgers. Packed but not uncomfortable. A definite favorite!!!

This was the fried chicken plate without the wing I ate! The fries were good too!

The food, the people, and the fried chicken plate Ingrabbed to go! It was decent fried chicken! We enjoyed it the next day! It was nice to sit out back as the water slowly trickled back in, and just an easy going feeling. We grabbed our drinks and ordered at the bar. Then they brought our food out to us! We will stop again going that way again!

Bloody Mary, spicy but so refreshing.

Visited this place late on a Monday night looking for a place to get a few drinks. We were visiting from Los Angeles so we didn't know what to expect. This place hit the spot in many ways. The ambiance is very chill and laid back, locals just hanging out having a good time. The staff was very welcoming and took our order. Drinks were strong but good, ordered some queso dip and that was good too. Prices were very reasonable, wish I could find a spot like this back in LA.

Drinks are good. Service is great. Food is hot. Atmosphere is great. We love this place. Bathrooms need to be cleaner maybe redone. But we just love coming to buzzes!

She…read morecomped the food my husband ordered because she saw he barely touched it which was very nice of her so we tipped well. The food was just alright, but I was disappointed with what I got and was expecting more quality for the price. I ordered the Chicken Cordon Who and I was given a plate with a small handful of still-crunchy sliced bell peppers and zucchini that seemed that they had been in contact with heat for all of 30 seconds next to a pile of potatoes that were cold from sitting. The chicken breast was just meh, not very thick, not very moist, not very seasoned, not very much of it. Small amount of sliced prosciutto on top. I just think for $30 this was a ripoff by at least 1/3 of the price; I would expect an actual chicken cordon bleu at that price instead of this quick-service deconstruction. The blackberry mojito I ordered for I think $15 tasted pretty good but was missing the presence and flavor of any alcohol so there was no complexity, just ended up being a $15 refreshing fruit drink. My husband ordered an appetizer (Sirloin Diablo) for $27 and got a small bowl of steak tips submerged in a barely spicy (Diablo?) cajun cream sauce like a soup surrounded by some painfully plain, thin, unseasoned, boring grilled bread. It's not bad or very good by any means and just wasn't his thing, but charging almost $30 for that? At their prices and the way they are presented I was expecting a really satisfying dinner but walked away feeling like I would've been just as happy eating some standard fare at a local diner for half the cost.

We started with the patatas bravas, gambas pil pil (butter garlic shrimp), oysters (both raw and cooked), and a hummus platter, and everything was excellent. The true standout, however, was the smoked salmon Alfredo--an absolutely incredible dish and one of the best pastas I've had in a long time. We added some chopped jalapeños for extra heat, but honestly, it was fantastic even on its own. The dessert was equally impressive, with a cake that was incredibly moist and the perfect way to end the meal. The wine selection deserves special mention as well. They offer a great variety of Spanish wines that pair beautifully with the menu. Service was fast, friendly, and attentive throughout our visit. The atmosphere is one of Octapas Café's biggest strengths. The restaurant features a beautiful, spacious dining room, plenty of outdoor seating, and even a private event space for larger gatherings and celebrations. Whether you're stopping by for tapas, seafood, pasta, or wine, Octapas Café delivers a memorable experience from start to finish.

I've encountered her before -- she isn't rude, just not at all welcoming. She asked us to wait for a moment for'something' which turned out to be stocking water bottles and napkins. We felt like an intrusion to tasks she could've worked on after seating us. We asked to sit on the patio in the sun - she seemed annoyed by this but acquiesced. The patio was quaint and the weather helped make it enjoyable. We were greeted by our server (wish I had her name - older lady in tie-dye shirt) she was welcoming, helpful with the menu, and very friendly! We ordered cocktails and brunch and enjoyed both! Dishes (Smoked Salmon Lox & Goats do Roam Tart) & Drinks were all good - see photos for more info. So go -- get past the hostess and you'll enjoy the rest!!! PS - I do remember from a past visit, the Beignets were good!

Handful of small plates available for happy hour with the purchase of a drink. I got the onion burger, shrimp skewer, and asparagus. The burger was juicy and a great size. It also came with a handful of matchstick fries. I really enjoyed the shrimp skewer as well. My friend tried the lobster bisque. The soup was delicious, but it was more of a tomato soup with chunks of lobster. Will definitely go back for dinner some time. They also had a great selection of whiskey. I also really enjoyed the ambiance.

She was pleasant and sat us in the sunshine on the patio. I was sad to see so few patrons. I will review the best part first: THE COCKTAILS: The spirits and craft cocktail selection was huge / the beer & wine not so much. My Old Fashioned was perfect! Food: Seafood Rosé Pasta (bay scallops, shrimp, northwest manila clams, rosé prosecco cream sauce, grilled bread) -- inconsistent cook on the different seafoods & the sauce was meh. Not worth $42.00 Grilled Romaine Salad (white balsamic bleu cheese dressing, gorgonzola, cherry tomatoes, aleppo toasted hazelnuts) -- plenty of romaine, could've been grilled longer / not much quantity of tomatoes or toasted hazelnuts -- basically a "side salad" for $15.00 Lobster Bisque (house smoked tomatoes, roasted red pepper, cream, butter poached langoustine lobster) -- tasted more like roasted tomato / red pepper soup (no lobster or seafood flavors) - there were 4 small pieces of poached?? langoustine lobster on top - I question poached because the pieces definitely had a bite to them. Worth $15.00 -- no. Due to reviews we had the Baklava Crumble (pistachios, honey, vanilla ice cream) -- basically cut up (very chewy, not crispy) baklava tossed over ice cream for $14.00 -- maybe a bad night for this dessert? We like to support small Olympia businesses and will go back for cocktails but the food costs are too high - we don't mind high costs IF we come away satisfied - unfortunately the food didn't measure up to the cost. As we drove away, we saw the "Budd Bay Cafe" was very busy - I think next time we'll have cocktails at Cynara, then cross the street for food and wine. We were intrigued with the "Clam Chowder Entrée" which is served à la minute (Washington manila clams, bacon, cream, celery, roasted potatoes, grilled bread) -- is it a deconstructed chowder?? $33.00 Sorry no pics.
