So I bought a ton of parts from this place and most were good parts for good price!!! HOWEVER if it's a bad part, (spindle wrong side, leaky shock, etc. then Jeff will either tell you no refund but offer you a swap part which might be good or in my case bad again or try to Sell you non Oem China part for 2times the price. No compensation or even a discount for labor hours you waisted or paid! And then tell you your not welcome !!!! Because I wanted to make things right! In previous years I have used them with great success,parts were great,and had only the highest opinion of this business. However I received a part that after installation,was electronically defective. I returned it and NEVER received the $726.00 credit for the part I returned. I was told by "Jeff" it would be "sent to accounting" and I waited and NEVER received my $726.00 credit. If you ever have a return ,don't expect a refund. Funny how you edited your response to make it seem like your the good guy because your the president of a small dismantling shop and you treat all of your customers with respect according to you. My friend and I came in looking for a part for his car. We wanted to see what it looked like before my friend pays a lot of money for a little plastic trim piece that goes above the license plate on a e46 bmw. I asked if we can go look at it and you rudely said that it isn't possible for us to go into the back. I had no problem with that and you thought I did? We then asked to see the trim piece but you obviously had a problem with that. You didn't even want to help us after that. Staff treats you like you're a nuisance, first off attempting to call this company rarely works out, after a 5 minutes wait you're transferred to voicemail and they don't call back. The few times I've went there in person or got through to someone on the phone they are rude when communicating with, and also have observed them speak to customers in the lobby in the same manner, in a condescending and rude manner. They quite literally have the attitude of "why are you calling me and what do you want" even though they are in the business of serving the public. Take you're bussiness and money to Autogator which is 300 feet to the left of BW, the folks there are respectful and know how to talk to and treat people. read more

I have been working on cars since high school - those are diaper days for most of you out there. Even now to my wife's dismay, I like old, er, "vintage" cars that I can work on. This helps me build relationships with mechanics, junk yards, er: recyclers, body shops, and the like. I came across BW on craigslist. I have to admit that at least BW advertises properly on craigslist, and their ads are appealing to the point of almost becoming SPAM. That is, the deal may be too good to be true. Well, it's not SPAM but it was a clearly a pricing error. HOWEVER, I called first to make sure the part was there. This, of course, was from a second phone call after leaving an un-returned voicemail (unprofessional). I didn't think much of it until I did reach a live person who agreed the part I want looked to be under priced. All he said was it was there, and if I was local, I can pick it up. I went the following day (today) primarily because I got the live person near closing time yesterday. I got the stupid "bolt was stuck" (on steering column) line. REALLY? You couldn't MAN up and just say you priced it wrong? I had drive out of my way to get there only to get a DUMB line like that? I would have respected you so much more if you said the price is WRONG and you made a MISTAKE. Ever hear of WD-40? Is this the first time you worked on vintage cars? Do you not own an torque or impact wrench? I should CHARGE you for my gas. I have gladly paid 2 times the price at another place because they had BETTER service and no BS. Had to get a new air intake for my 2017 Jetta, and not only did they have it in stock, but they got it sent out same day and at reasonable cost. Jeff was very helpful and even though a part wasn't sent with the order, he the missing one sent out same day and I received the next. (I joined Yelp just to be able to write this review) Yesterday I called Jeff at BW and asked if he had a front left indicator light for a VW Passat after seeing that they were parting out a Passat on Craigslist. He said "Yes I have it - it will cost you $45.00" I said "Great, I'll be right there" and then drove 30 miles to pick it up. When I got there he sent someone out to get the part. About 20 minutes later a guy comes in from the yard with a part that is not the one in the Craigslist ad. Jeff looks at me and says "This isn't the right part, plus it's broken, so I'll knock $5.00 off the price for you..." What a clown. I hate this place more each time I go there. Each time I go there I just stand there like an idiot, 2 guys at the front counter see you there, they just do computer stuff and answer phone calls. It's pretty stupid. I would t recommend this place unless you are willing to wait for hours before they talk to you at the office. Loyal Repeat Customer. Surfed for 2 hours on the Interweb for a Drivers side and Passenger Side Mirrors for 2002 Chrysler 300 M. Aftermarket mirrors (non-folding) backordered from Vermont, Midwest and California. Very hard to find for this model and year.Found Jeff on Craigslist with a 2002 300M. Both OEM Folding mirrors delivered to my door the next day, in a VERY secure stapled box and taped like it was going to Egypt. Thank You again to Jeff and his staff for beautifying our car again! BW Auto Dismantlers is outstanding. They take the cars apart with proficiency not like most yards that cut and pull cars apart. They have very high quality used parts at a fair price. I needed a diesel fuel tank for a customers VW. Not only was it in stock , it was in great condition complete with uncut fuel lines. I would definitely recommend BW. To top it all off, the employees are extremely professional and knowledgeable. Looking out at their yard I found the cleanest, most organized auto dismantler I have ever seen. Read these reviews so i took pics of the add of the exact car showing car fully intact with the part i need in plain view posted the night before. They didnt know what part, from what i saw in the big mirror behind them, they kept lookin at the wrong car with a 4cyl. I said thats the wrong car, i have pics of the add. I found this establishment on Craigslist. I muffed my car up, and had to get a: door, inner panel, fender and side mirror. Some parts were a little scuffed but they gave me discounts, which was very appreciated. All of the parts came to be under $300, and I was extremely happy about that! They even take the parts off for you so all you need to do is load them. I had the parts installed and the electronics work perfectly. Would definitely recommend! read more

I had to call 3 times to get to a human. I finally got to speak to Eddie on the phone and I asked about a small trim part for my A4 - he said they had the car I was looking for, so I drove 30min out of my way to come in and look for this part. I get there and I waited patiently (5-10 min) while Eddie finished up his calls - all the while he couldn't be bothered to acknowledge that a human was standing 18" away from him, while he was on the phone. He got one of the techs to take me out to the yard to look for the part I needed. The Tech was awesome and very knowledgeable about the cars, locations in the yard and specifics for the part I needed. We found the button I was looking for from the right model/year. It was covered in mud but I was happy to find the right part - a blank plastic button .75"x.75" While we were in the yard I figured I'd replace my floor mats. So we took a pair of muddy/dirty floor mats as well. This took about 15 min but like I said, the tech was awesome and very smart so I was feeling better about their customer service. We get back to the front desk and Eddie with his winning personality informs me that the 2 button blanks and floor mats would be $25. Realizing that the floor mats weren't really worth $25, I decided that I didn't need them, so I said: Ok, I'll pass on the floor mats and just take the plastic parts. Eddie: "$25 is our minimum charge..." REALLY? thanks for wasting 1+ hr of my time and losing a customer. Can't believe the CRAP customer service these guys provide. DON'T BOTHER VISITING THIS PLACE. On my way back I drove to http://www.yelp.com/biz/audi-volkswagen-parts-rancho-cordova and got FAR BETTER SERVICE and Vince was kind enough to comp me the button blank I needed.
