Well one employee gets 5 stars and the other gets 1 so this is the average and here's what happened. I called to see if they had a particular wiper, I said "I never put it on before and I don't know what I'm doing" she said they had the wiper and to come in. She helped be get the right wiper but never said anything about help with installation when I alluding to wanting it. One of the wipers had about 5 parts and I put the wrong one in cuz I don't know what I'm doing. Then I broke my wiper off because it was stuck old and brittle and did I mention I don't know what I'm doing. So I went in to return them so it didn't happen again. It wouldn't have any way because the back one was actually different than the one I was looking for. So when I was returning it, I asked the gentleman if they could help with installation and he said that they could've so that I re-purchased two of the three I returned and had him help me with installation if he had been there instead of her in the beginning, I would have all three all perfectly and then more business with the store and Ben a happier customer. I'm not sure why she's so bad at customer service but someone should talk to her. Homeboy gave me the great service I expected to get when I came to AutoZone. If I hadn't ran into him, I would've left and never came back. read more

I went into AutoZone on 3/21/2026 and received outstanding service from Jason. He took the time to replace a lightbulb that was difficult to put in. He even taped up part of my light that was broken. I can tell you right now that I have been to many auto parts stores and they have never been as helpful and as kind as Jason was. If I could give this review 100 stars I would. Jason is such an amazing employee that went over and beyond and I will definitely be a lifetime customer of AutoZone because of this experience!!! Five stars because they stood up and fixed an error. Good people with good intentions. Bought front disk brakes there yesterday with the intent of replacing them this morning. After about an hour of prep in my driveway, I was finally able to pull off the existing pads, which were in horrible shape, and started to install the new ones when I realized they were the wrong ones. Grrr, So.... called Autozone to inquire and they confirmed they had sold me the wrong model. Meh... could be worse. So I put my left wheel back together with the old pads, and drove to Autozone. They were very helpful, appologetic for the error, and even thow the correct pads were several dollars more, the manager quickly said "match the price" to the cashier. Thank you for that! All in all.... excellent customer service even in a not-too-perfect transaction. Still a happy customer! Came in today for a headlight bulb but was treated rudely by one of the workers, so I was about to leave when the manager stepped in and helped me. I purchased a Duralast Gold battery in January of 2023 and in May of the same year the battery started going bad. I took it in for a complimentary battery check and the battery read as good. I told the young man behind the counter that the battery would no longer hold a charge, without hesitation he stated that he had heard of that happening and he immediately swapped out my battery for a new one. Said that if I have any further issues to bring the car by and they would test the alternator. The alternator had recently been replaced so he wished me a good day! Incredibly disappointed in our neighborhood Autozone. Went to pickup steering fluid yesterday and found that 1/2 the staff and 1/2 the customers weren't wearing mask. And the staff that did wear mask, weren't wearing correctly. Please do better and think of our community. Stop the spread and require wearing proper mask usage please. Showed up on 8/11 to pick up a battery for a 2018 Nissan Rogue. When I went into the location a red shirt named Kyler greeted me upon entering. He was a nice guy. The issue I have is the RSM working the counter that day, when I came in (John) tried pulling some deceptive selling tactics on me to upsell a battery. I was told by John that there was only a Duralast Gold in the battery size I needed for my car which is one of the upper tier quality levels of battery. To that, I asked him what the battery group size, to which he replied "35". (I was a manager for O'reillys and ASM for Autozone) I walked over to the wall and saw multiple group 35 batteries that started off in the Valucraft level that would work for my car. So he straight out lied by telling me there was only one battery quality available in stock. After picking the battery I asked if they could install and swap for the old since I had no tools and wasn't trying to get messy because I was actually going to trade in my car. John sent Kyle out to look at my cars battery which is an easy top post battery with nothing blocking it. Kyle said "We usually don't swap the batteries that have a fuse on the positive side ". Which is news to me, because when I worked for both autoparts companies I swapped those batteries with no issue all the time... When Kyle went in and told John about the fuse on the positive side, John said "no we don't swap those, but we have tools if you want to". So I did, like I did all those times before while working for the company. Swapped it in 10 or 8 minutes easy. Just sad to see how bad this store is. The autozone by my house (watt and elkhorn) is much better.... I also called the DM and left a voicemail and never got a call back. So I emailed the regional manager today. Hope the management changes here, only person I saw willing to try was Kyler. (SAVE YOURSELF A TRIP AND GO TO ANOTHER AUTOZONE) read more

My battery died. 100 degrees out. My 85 yr old mother was with me. The wonderful store clerk brought my mom inside to cool down. He got her a chair to sit in. Hmmm.. It would seem as tho customers are not a concern at this location. I have come here on a handful of visits now... I was trying to give them a break, figuring it was because they had only recently opened.. Nope. Doesn't seem to be the case at all. It seems to take a very long time to even be acknowledged. Whether they are busy or like during my last visit completely dead. The acknowledgement was something resembling a half frustration. Like I was interrupting some thing way more important that could be being done. I have noticed this and even a rudeness are becoming more and more common. The looking down on you or talking to you like you are some lame who knows NOT about things AUTOMOTIVE.. SMH.. If they only knew. I was here on my second attempt to get the "right part" . I love how it is made to be your fault, considering you tell them everything they ask and are still given the incorrect part unless you already have the old part with you to compare it. I also love how so often you are treated like a fool of some sort.. I am always left asking: "If you know THAT much, why are you working in a parts store?" Oh, ya that's right...You don't. The store is clean. That much earns them a star. The prices are usually good and they are usually pretty well stocked. That is the second star. Beyond that.. I had amazing customer service on New Year's Day. I dropped in for a quick license plate bulb replacement, and though they were visibly short-staffed, the associate looked at every tag and found the exact ones we needed on the wall of a thousand bulbs (slight exaggeration). The car I was driving was clunky...out of date...and I had no idea how to fix a thing on it. So the associate offered to help after he finished ringing up the customer behind me. Of course, by the time he came outside, I figured out you just unplug the old bulb and replace. One click and done, and the associate was good-natured about running outside to assist me nonetheless. I was running a couple of last minute errands before I had to take my kids to their basketball game. One of those stops was the bank to pay a bill. After the bill sucked the life out of my financial soul, I went out to my truck to find out that the universe sucked the energy out of my truck battery. I was stranded, kids needed to be at their playoff game in an hour and I'm stuck. I asked a fellow citizen to get a jump. "I don't have cables", she replied. "It's okay, I do." She might as well have told me to fuck off. Instead, she told me that her "battery didnt work for jumping other cars". I didn't pursue any further and let her be on her way to her Klan meeting. Dejected, I absently gazed across the parking lot contemplating existentialism when my eyes caught the AutoZone branding on the side of a building. At that point, I heard the the beginning bars of Sabotage by Beastie Boys playing in my head. I hiked my way across the parking lot and walked into the best AutoZone I've ever been to. Zach was the right hand of God as he rang me up for a new Duralast battery. Not only that, he drove me back to my truck, waited for me to change out the battery, and escorted me back to turn in the old lifeless battery for my core charge. Top notch service. I popped in today to get my battery tested and it did need to be replaced. I was greeted by a nice lady. I didn't catch her name but assume possibly manager because different color shirt. One thing I love most about AutoZone vs competition. Would be the competency of the staff @autozone. I live within short driving distance of five or so autozones. I choose this store each time as the associates have a breadth of knowledge. Jason took the time to help me over the phone with my break caliper questions and once stumped he passed me off to Steven, Rather than hanging up on me or telling me there's nothing left he could help with. These two individuals really stepped up to the plate and helped solidify my continued choice and remaining a diehard AutoZone fan/customer. Providing SKU numbers for parts. Given my choices and scenario they helps with alternative solutions. they really helped me make a great choice. Unfortunately they did not have the part but located a sister store and had them put a hold on the last one in stock for me until I could arrive. These two guys are worth keeping around. Oops! My mechanic found that the headlamp was put in crooked which could have caused big damage. He fixed. I will get headlamps changed by my mechanic from now on. Needed bulb for tail light. Walked in, was 1 other customer in store. 5 empls on duty. 1 on the phone, 1 helping a cust & 3 standing in a group talking, non-business related. I walked over to bulbs, you have to go thru a catalog, find your year & make & which bulb, locate by mfgr number. No one offered any assistance or greeted me. Found which one that I needed & proceeded to ckout. & stood there..... person still on ph, 3 ppl still talking! Finally after standing there a coupla minutes, someone saw me! Guess they were there to help customers after all. SHEESH. Thought I might get better svc here than at Oreillys up the street, but I was mistaken. Engagement with customers was non-existent & it wasn't even busy. They were not happy to help. They were there to socialize with each other. read more

Was refused a simple request of having a staff member show me if I'm clipping on my brand new A/C gauge, a product I purchased at AutoZone, the wrong way. The hose adapter would not fit any ports, despite being told they're all universal. The fact that there was no other customers in sight, and that the AutoZone few miles down the road showed no hesitation in assisting me, told me that you, Steven, was simply too lazy to help me. I had been to this location various times and each time customer service is not at the least bit concerning for them. Gabby the store manager causally condescended my vehicles potential problem with out any hesitation after asking for her advice. Later going on behind the desk to talk freely with her colleagues with non work related things with personal details. I felt extremely uncomfortable the whole time I was there. I went into this store tonight after Work needing a right rear blinker. I had NO clue how to put one in and was frazzled when I got there from driving in traffic with a non-working blinker. When I asked Clint Gilbert the store manager if he could show me how he said no problem. He was awesome! Not only did he take the time to do it he showed me how. He never once made me feel as though I was putting him out. I'm confident now if I had to do in the future I can on my own. I'm so impressed with the customer I received at this store but most importantly by how well Clint took care of me. So I just wanted to write this review to let you know my experience. Being a girl you sometimes feel a little intimidated walking into a parts store. Seems like they judge as soon as you walk in the door. Not all but many. Anyway I took a Flasher/hazard unit into my nearest store the other day and couldn't seem to be able to communicate that it was the part I actually needed. Maybe cause I'm a girl or maybe cause he just wasn't listening! So I was told no that is a specialty part that I would have to get from a dealer. Really? So frustrated I left the store went home and called a dealer. Well according to the oh so knowledgeable person on the phone told me they do not make the part anymore. Thanks alot! So I got back on the AutoZone web site and sure enough I found the part I needed myself!!! Had it delivered to a different store the next day and installed it myself! And It works Beautifully!!! Just wanted everyone to know don't always take there word for it . I guess they don't have the capability to check all the stores in your area? Not sure why? But maybe you should fix that ? The Yelp guide says 5 stars is as good as it gets. Well then, they need to add mores stars, because Autozone of Roseville Square sure deserves them. In particular, David Pauling. I went in to get some tune-up parts. Well, David stepped right up and told me that he would take good care of me. That isn't the half of it. David took it upon himself to not only look everything up, but go out into the store and bring it back to the counter! He brought out everything you would need for a tune-up, including wires, a pcv valve, cap and rotor, etc. Even towels, and soap! The man was beyond amazing. He told me that they take customer service extremely seriously. He proved it. Way beyond any possibility of doubt. Finally, after doing all that, he even took my things out to the car. I'm a guy! Customer service is my thing - in particular the lack of it in most any store you go into these days. But Autozone, and in particular David Pauling has managed to bring it back - without question. He sure made a customer out of me. Go ahead - check it out for yourself. Let me know, because I am certain you will have a great experience there. read more

Arrived at Auto Zone at 8:55 I asked this young man behind the counter if you can check my battery just by the sound of his sigh he didn't want to do it but he did grab the tools he needed to check my battery. He checks my battery he tells me it's a bad battery. I tell him let's go ahead and replace it, he asks if I have tools because they're closing in a Couple minutes I ask him don't you guys have tools? He proceeds to tell me he can't sell me a battery this late. I am the customer the store is still open as we speak what do you mean you can't sell me a battery, he grabbed his tools and walked away. Very disappointed in this young mans attitude for willingly would have left a customer stranded in their parking lot because he felt it was more important for him to go home and not work five minutes overtime rather than help a customer in need. I even told this idiot I will install the battery myself. I will never shop at AutoZone again. I did not catch this kids name he wore glasses about 5' 9" tall medium build and a light beard. if I was this guy's manager he would be in the unemployment line for how he handled a customer tonight. He definitely needs a write up for his careless attitude when your in a business having to help customers. read more
