Who doesn't like spaghetti! My boy stopped in for a bucket which was enough for 3 adults. I've had both better and worse spaghetti so you'll have to draw your own conclusions on taste with this one. If I was in a hurry I wouldn't have any issues stopping in again. read more

First time there and first impression: BLAH!!! Bland and salads are VERY overpriced. I didn't care for the garlic bread AT ALL and they charge way too much for extras like marinara and parmesan cheese. There is an Albertson's next door you can just go buy a bottle for what they charge. Same thing with the sodas. Ridiculous! The owner was there asking everyone weird questions and then insisted we upgrade everything because we would want leftovers. Stop pushing products on people to pad your bottom line! Jeeez! Everything was delicious! I walked in and was reminded of home. The smell was so yum!!! It made me so excited for lunch. I ordered the bambino with two meatballs and a slice of cheesecake. The food was served hot and very good. The meatballs are incredible and worth the charge. The sauce and the noodles were great and the garlic bread really brought it together. I went to BTB on Cave Creek Rd for National Spaghetti Day. I was hungry and craving some good spaghetti. It was 7:35pm and surprised to see no other customers. The smell in the store was good when I walked in. I ordered a medium sized bucket, one meatball and medium salad (which they were out of salad). It took about 12 minutes for them to prepare my order. I asked for Parmesan cheese but they wanted $1 for a very small container so I declined. When I got home I opened the bucket but did not get smell I expected. I mixed the spaghetti and sauce. When tasted the spaghetti it was bland. The meatball was also bland tasting. The spaghetti noodles were extra thick and bland. The garlic bread was fair. I was disappointed that the spaghetti sauce and meatball were bland. They did not match the initial smell when I first entered the store. I did not feel the food was worth $16.24 they charged for it. I also sent this review to their email and did receive a response from owner the following day. He apologized for my experience, assured me this was not representative of their food and processed a full refund. Since the response from the owner I'll give By the Bucket another chance. read more

SO GOOD. There were only two employees working there, but they were holding it DOWN. The spaghetti, sauce, meatballs, and garlic bread was some of the best I've ever had. They need staff to help out the poor guy running the show, but the food is absolutely good enough to keep this business thriving. My spaghetti-loving kid is in love with this place! read more

I was just in By the Bucket about 3 hours ago. Could not be happier. I was welcomed and had a brief conversation with the young lady taking orders. We had a family sized bucket with 4 meatballs. The spaghetti for someone who dissent like spaghetti... was very good.. the guy working the front was so accommodating! He will cook your pasta el dente.. how ever you want it... but I was shocked even with a coupon for 19.95 it cost me 27.00! Being next to a grocery store I coulda paid 3$ and fed more people it was good but not worth the $$$ I coulda just taking my family out or just made it myself.. oh well I learned ... but yes it was good ! read more

Ran across this place yesterday - apparently it's a chain and this location just opened. I ordered by phone, staff was friendly and it was ready when they said it would be. I got the medium bucket and it was easily enough food for three. Spaghetti was good, meatballs were great and garlic bread was great. It was all hot and easy to transport home. Very reasonable price too. My one wish is that they had different sauces - meat and vodka to be specific. Definitely would go back. read more

Really not worth the money. Good taste but how can you screw up spaghetti. Ordered online and picked it up and still had to pay a tip.

Meatball sandwich was really good. We also took home the medium bucket with extra bread too. It fed my (not so hungry at the time) family of 4 (two adults and two kids). Service at the front was average at best. Reviews said they gave too much sauce, which I typically like, but ours barely had enough to cover the spaghetti. We had upgraded to extra garlic bread, hoping to be able to dip, but ended up wasting a good chunk. Noodles come from a pre made bag that was thrown into a hot frying pan and tasted like it. But, we thought it was a fun concept and not to bad for a last minute quick dinner spot. I always appreciate when companies give 15% off for first responders in uniform, which they do, so I liked that as well. read more
