I ordered 2 double meat Whataburgers and 1 original from the drive thru. The order took a little bit to get but it was worth the wait, since it would be fresh.so I thought. Got it home and gave everyone their order only to find out they gave me 2 originals and 1 double meat. They billed me for what I ordered just didn't give me that. And they are expensive. So lesson learned: don't leave the drive thru until you check to make sure you get what you paid for. read more

Absolutely such a great location with the best staff in all of AZ! My wife and I ate here for breakfast burgers after a recent doctors appointment and we had an awesome time! The staff were friendly, attentive and professional. The restaurant was clean and items were well stocked. The music playing I'm the dinning room was appropriate for all ages & genre. Last time I ate at a Whataburger was back in 2007 in Oklahoma. I have to say this location has been good to us. Friendly staff amd correct orders.with napkins. The staff was extremely friendly and polite and everyone greeted me. It reminded me of what it's like when you go into a QT gas station.

The food was good and hot when I received it in a decent amount of time. My real complaint is, I ordered onion rings and I asked for a side of ranch dressing and I was told that's another .75 cents. Really, a $15 dollar meal and no side of ranch dressing unless I pay for it. I left and decided I would enjoy an onion ring while still hot and when I looked into the bag there was no napkin! I thought about going back and asking for one but then thought to myself, how much is a napkin going to cost me. Whatabuger should really rethink charging for a side of ranch dressing. I was asked by three separate employees with the name on my order was and not a single one of those employees felt like checking to see if it was even done. The fries tasted like cardboard, my burger was dripping with mustard, and the patty melt was like licking a beef bouillon cube. Okay, I am really late to give this place a review and I apologize for that. Picture this: December 24th, 2021! My husband and I have been out driving around and seeing Christmas lights with the dog in the backseat. It's getting late, and we're having fun, not quite ready to head home, but also, it's late, and we're hungry. We weren't sure if they were open, but their drive thru was. Good deal, and I do love me some Whataburger. I guess they were having some employee party or something in between taking order. Good deal, it's a holiday, and it's nice to see people do stuff like that for their employees. The manager though, spotting our dog sticking her head out of the window, had the best reaction either. Ducking her head a bit like she's on a mission from God himself and ain't no one stopping her. Inching closer and closer to the window and finally asking, "Can your dog have a burger?" I was tickled beyond all get out and the dog? The dog was just happy to see a new face and hear the woman talking to her. They made her a fresh burger and I cannot begin to tell you how much that made our night. Just good vibes all around. So, sorry I'm late for the review but you guys are my favorite location. Always friendly when we go, always get the order right without fail and just...I wish the location closer to me would have a fraction of the good service you guys do. Usually I won't post a review for fast food unless I've been a number of times and had some helpful views . This location has the same great food you expect , always on point etcc , But, every visit the last few years if you choose the drive thru, the order takes about 8-10 minutes . This location doesn't have a place to send you to park and wait , so it becomes a lengthy wait for everyone in line , imagine ordering a drink only and having to wait for someone in front of you to get their order . My advise pick one that has an area they can park you and maybe is a little speedier read more

Second review.... Second bad review. After a bad experience at this location a couple of years ago and a good experience at a different location, we decided to try our nearest location again. I'm taking the time to post another review because I'm hoping to save someone from spending $30 bucks for a couple of absolutely crappy meals. They were no longer doing the mushroom Swiss burger so got a bacon cheese burger. The bun was so stale that the brownish golden outer layer of the bun was flaking off, for a second I actually thought it may have been nibbled on by rats or mice, nope, just really stale and should have been thrown out . But I ventured ahead and my first bite was lettuce, onion, and just like my last experience a couple of years ago....... A shitload of mustard, seriously, why so much mustard on everything at this location? It was about half way before I got through my burger when I actual found some meat. I thought it was quite a reasonably thick bites worth of meat but turns out that my paper thin pattie had been somehow folded in half and only covered 1/2 of the ridiculously stale bun. Wow! 1st time reviewing, we went thru drive-thru and immediately ate our meal in the parking lot. Burger 1: Decided on the regular Whataburger Meal (substituted fries for onion rings; drink for a chocolate shake). Burger was NOT juicy, overcooked, and thin. The burger comes wrapped in paper and it was covered with mustard everywhere on the paper plus a huge amount on one side. There was one tomato and it was on the side, it would've tasted better with lettuce and tomatoes evenly covering patty. It felt like the burger maker didn't care. Burger 2: My hubby had the BBQ burger and said it was good. He did agree that they cooked the burger well over well-done but he had BBQ sauce and added mayo to his. Chocolate shake: ohhh yum!! Thick and hard to get with a straw so I waited till it melted about 10 mins. I only wished it came with a tall spoon. Onion rings: came out hot and tasty. I prefer panko vs beer-battered so I'm not gonna mark off stars for my preference. Customer service Drive-thru intercom employee: This girl was patient and sweet with us, she read back our meal and didn't get our substitution right but quickly corrected it. Drive-thru pick up employee: This young man was focused on the task at hand and not customer service. When he told us our bill and shut the window, my husband looked at me and said "he hates his job". He just didn't have a slight smile on his face and didn't even greet us. We are used to going through drive-thru's and asking at the window for condiments and having the employee double-check that we have everything. Unfortunately he immediately shut the window as soon as he handed us our stuff and we barely had enough time to ask him if there was ketchup in our bag which he said there was but did not have time to ask him about ranch. (Even if there is a charge for ranch, we would've paid extra for it at the window.) Next time: I'll maybe try a different location just to compare. And if I come here again, I'll order a double patty or the BBQ with sauces! read more

Went by the drive thru at 3am and ordered a Whataburger ala carte. I've been eating Whataburgers for 20+ years. Apparently the recipe has changed because what I got was a joke. The top bun has become ridiculously thick. The meat patty is now minisule.The meat used to go to the edge of the bun but now there is almost an inch of space surrounding it ! Whataburger has become Whataripoff. It was like they put a Whataburger Jr patty on a regular size Whataburger. What I got was not worth $6. They ripped me off. Efficient fast food restaurants ask a car with a Big order to pull to the side, but I've literally been in line 40 min on a Friday night. Place looks cheap and not well kept. This location is the worst Whataburger I have ever experienced!! Sunday evening around 6pm and the place is a hot mess. Drive-thru doesn't move for 20 min so we decided to go inside. Whoa - what a colossal mistake. The guy takes our order and 30 min later still hasn't even given my boyfriend his shake. He asks the cashier about our order and the manager comes over but they have no clue. So at this point, they have the opportunity to make it right and they still get our order wrong. The lemon pie literally crumbled in my hands and had 0 filling (so basically I'm guessing that was supposed to be lemon). Terrible service and the food was mediocre. Sadly, someone from the drive-thru line came in while my boyfriend was waiting because the staff screwed up her order too. To top it all off, rather than refunding the order, the manager put a note on the receipt and said "your next meal is on us." Why the heck would we ever come back?!?! To the guy who decided to send me a message about my review...seriously?! That's beyond weird to send me a message defending the service and food quality. They had two chances and still screwed it up. Whataburger is a great spot normally and I've eaten at them all over the country. However, this location is not. I hope they improve but I will never go back to this location to tempt fate. read more

Oh the memories! From a child my Dad introduced me to Whataburger. It was his favorite fast food place; even over McDonalds. Being my Fathers son, i walk in his burger shoes and too adopted his tradition. Even through high school and beyond, my mischief days, we would frequent Whataburger often. Sometimes we would drive through the Drive Thru backwards. Or, I would walk in and grab the old microphones they used to have and start calling out my order. Oopsie (almost got kicked out for that), . However, now that those days are in the past, I enjoy coming to this location to indulge in the standard Whataburger without onions; it's my favorite. the management at this location does a great job and they really cater to their customers. What I mean by that is, they personally come to your table with not only your food but your offerings of ketchup, salt and napkins. Wow! I don't think even In-and-Out offers that. The selections are good and I like both the patty and bread that it is conceived upon. Every once and in a while I get the itch and I need to grab my fix.
