They were backed up and I have extreme sensory issues. I waited as long as I could under the fluorescent lights with David. About an hour. Finally just after trying to open the inoperable window and before bashing my body against the walls I decided to leave... but the Doctor was standing in the hall and said "I'll be in there next!" I waited. He was with us in under a minute and graciously apologetic. I blurted out that I have sensory issues and the room was difficult for me-- and he reached up and turned off the offending fluorescents! "Is that better?" The staff member who attended to me, Miss Melanie, was exceptionally professional, patient, and friendly. Even when I made a small mistake, she explained everything clearly and kindly. I told my wife, "Miss Melanie is truly a wonderful person." My wife said, "The lady who helped me was also very kind." A few days earlier, another lady who assisted us looked very much like Miss Melanie's sister -- she, too, was incredibly helpful and caring. Several fellow students recommended this place because they bill insurance directly, which helps when trying to manage multiple school-related expenses. Unfortunately, the experience was not worth the convenience. When I arrived, I was the only patient in the waiting area, yet I was ignored for over five minutes while the front desk staff continued a personal phone conversation. My appointment was at 2:25 PM, and I waited for almost two hours without being seen or given any updates. It wasn't until I said I had to leave due to another obligation that I was finally told the doctor was still out on lunch, something they failed to mention when I checked in. The facility itself is visibly run-down, the supplies look outdated, and the environment felt unprofessional and chaotic. The back office staff seemed visibly unhappy and disengaged, which only added to the discomfort of the experience. Before I left, I returned to the front desk to confirm that my insurance would not be billed since I was never seen by the doctor. I asked calmly and respectfully, explaining that I would be contacting my insurance to make sure the visit wasn't processed. The response I received was shocking and entirely inappropriate. The front desk staff member (whose name I did not catch) but I will attach a picture of her in the review she than replied, "You shouldn't be so picky -- you have Medicaid. You need to remember that." That kind of comment is not only offensive but discriminatory. Insurance status should never determine how someone is treated in a healthcare setting. Medicaid is legitimate health coverage, and providers are compensated accordingly. I have the same right to professional, respectful care as anyone else, regardless of the insurance I carry. If this clinic has an issue with Medicaid patients, they should not be in-network. I recorded part of the interaction and immediately contacted my insurance provider to file a formal complaint. I was informed that an investigation will be initiated. Medicaid does not tolerate providers who treat patients unfairly based on their coverage. In hindsight, I would have rather paid out-of-pocket at a reputable urgent care like CareNow for a far better experience. I do not recommend this facility to anyone, especially students or individuals expecting timely, respectful, and ethical care.

Never had issues with office staff & I feel like Dr. Wu and her NP Anna are amazing. They both seem very thorough in comparison to a few other doctors I have seen. As for referrals...I feel like in general vegas uses an online referral system and it's not perfect when they send them out. A simple call / text to the office and they were able to fix it. I don't complain about wait times...I feel like I am never waiting in the office that long. Plus the whole valley is pretty much like that. I would rather wait a little longer and spend as much time I need with the Dr. as well. I highly recommend her office.
