Last night, (6.6.2025), I decided to hang out a little at Aqua Bar & Grill to have a drink and eat. I ordered a burger and fries and an Orange Crush mixed drink. I requested cooked onion and cheddar on the burger. When it came, I lifted the roll and saw it was wrong, but not quickly enough to complain to the waiter who had already gone on. Unfortunately, literally I saw only one strand of cooked onion. Instead, however, there were 3 pickle chips --and mayonnaise--neither of which I wanted or eat (gag). I never took a bite, and tried to bide my time with the generous fries and my drink while scanning for the waiter. Much too much later, the waiter checks in on me. I told him then about the missing onion and the added mayo and pickles. He was very apologetic, but he never offered a replacement burger . I must say I just asked for the check, paid and peacefully left. Perhaps if I would have made a scene, the waiter might have offered a replacement for the untouched burger. I did not. Instead, I thought that maybe I could have been more specific about what should not have been on top of the burger. But then I was never told what that would be. Ultimately, I spent $31 on a Orange Crush mixed drink and a dozen fried potatoes, the rest of which I never finished. I, the only Black guy there at that time, did not want to attract negative attention by insisting on a better outcome. The resolution would be obvious: bring me a new burger. Last, let me say I am new to this area, two years now, from North Jersey/NYC vicinity. That was not my first time at Aqua, either. I wish to balance my remarks by saying that the staff at Aqua have always been friendly, especially the lady at the bar. I have never felt unwelcomed there. Quite the opposite. So I hope to go back. At this point, I just won't order anything else to eat. read more

We came for a late lunch on a Saturday. The service was great - we were sat in the shade in front of a fan and it was also lovely. Finally - the food was really good. We had a Cobb salad with chicken, spicy chicken sandwich and a burger and each was really good, but the chicken sandwich was amazing. They had all the pride flags and our 22 year old daughter explained each and every one to us. Ambiance, service and food were all top notch. We came here for dinner tonight. Full of people, Aqua Grill was festive. We were quickly seated and ordered from our server. We ordered the hummus appetizer, the grilled salmon. Our friend ordered a tuna poke bowl. The hummus was bland. The rest of our food was perfectly average. The service was awful. Though the server was pleasant and took our orders fairly, he was inattentive. Forgetting about us (and the kitchen), it took a while for our food to show up. The server gave us our entrees before the appetizer. The staff never cleared our plates. The server was much more interested in talking with friends who sat nearby. Indeed, for a good 10 minutes he was chatting with them. As we were waiting for our check it was super irritating. We would consider going to Aqua to meet people for a drink, but with such lousy service and average food, we will go elsewhere to eat. read more

Horrible and rude service from this guy calling my LADIES friends for a profanity names and showing his finger just because my friends were having fun dancing and they were trying to use one of the patio poles to play as exotics dancer that never can complete it because they dont know how to use it and he came yelling they in a very rude way .There are too many and easy ways to let your customers know if you are wrong or know. Extremely unprofessional guy calling for names my friends. That bartender was for sure in drugs For the way that he has approached to us was really unprofessional and rude. No manager available to assist us and he said that he do whatever he wants. I do not recommend the place and never ever we are going to back to this horrible place. AquaGrill was recommended to me by my softball team families who had a great experience two nights ago. The staff and manager accompanied 20 folks right around closing with no questions and did an amazing job getting the large orders of food out. Therefore, my husband and I decided to also patron this establishment. Firstly, the ambience was welcoming and fun! The music was on point throughout our entire meal! The staff was attentive and kind. The food was delicious and fresh, as well. I can't highly recommend this establishment and their business enough. read more

This being my first visit to Rehobeth Beach, my partner and i wanted to have our first meal somewhere special. i've had friends in the past who have raved about Aqua Grill so of course we chose this to be where we went. Surprisingly, it wasn't busy for a warm mid day in July which was fine by me. considering covid has affected all business in some form, it's nice to see those that have reopens adhering to safety protocols such as masks and spaces out seating. our food was delicious and we had a great experience. our drinks were not the best as they tasted of pure syrup than a refreshing drink and the music/ambiance was just so-so. but again we had a great experience nonetheless! read more

Great place to grab a drink. . . . . BUT. . . . DON'T GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD!! You will end up with drinks you didn't purchase charged to your card! This was the case without leaving the card open - I took it back. The extra bummer is that even when I called to resolve the extra charge, they refused to take it off. We spent $75 on 4 drinks - which we were happy to (2 times 2 drinks - we are a couple; buy 2 at a time) - but they didn't take off the additional extra one drink for $18 we clearly didn't purchase. Bad customer service - they don't seem to care. I will go in the future, but will ONLY PAY IN CASH . . . . also considering going to Diego's more for happy hour. read more

Excellent customer service. They make sure to assign a hot guy to you when you enter to show you around. My nipples got hard. However, they no longer walk around shirtless. I am up in arms. There use to be a shirtless staff of hot bros who served you drinks! Bring back the shirtless bros!!!!!!!! I came here years ago when they had sand and shirtless servers. I ordered pulled pork quesedillas and they are soooo good. And my waiter was consistent and timely unlike purple parrot, they have personality up in here and seem to give a fuck! I have been coming here for years and you won't be disappointed at all if you like amazing service and great servers. We always tip the servers well. They have improved in the way of the restaurant furniture as well the last few years and also added the flat screen TV's for the music videos. You could also dance inside when the DJ's are there after 8P on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. Great patio for sitting. People watching to the street/eating and drinking. Get there by 5P during happy hour on Friday, Saturday or Sunday and the servers will serve you the big girl drinks OMG! After 6P the drinks go back to regular prices so drink as much before then to get the best value. Our server Nickola (Serbian Server) Beefy guy was the best with Blake and Justin a close second. You will not go wrong with these three attractive men. The drinks were amazingly, cold and they had another round of drinks ready once we were done. I sampled the food and the ones that were amazing are the Surf and Turf slider burgers. (2 Beef burgers and 2 Crab Cake burgers) These burgers will melt in your mouth. Yummy for my tummy. Also, try the 10 Pack Abs (Baby Back Ribs) They are great and better than Cloud 9 in my opinion with more flavor and sauce. Very tender indeed. Try the Man O' War which is a choice of Steak, Baked Potato and Steamed Vegetables. We had the Fillet Mignon (Medium) This will make your mouth water. Mmmmmmm!!! On Sundays they have Sunday Brunch there and you could order specials that they have and Bloody Mary's are included with your meal when you order the specials or from the Menu. You could eat healthy here if you want. There are a few items. I would highly recommend this place for a group/s of friends! Ask for Nickola (The Beefy Serbian) or Blake/Justin if he is not there. Travis is also another young one soon to be a weather man. Byron is also a nice guy as well. These men are so attractive that you won't be disappointed when you order from them. This gay bar is a refreshing change from what I'm used to...it's not a dive, yet it's not overwhelmingly big or glamorous. It's the perfect fit for the beach. I went multiple times during my first trip to Rehoboth several years ago and am happy to report after my recent trip that it has retained its popularity and charm. The staff is friendly (and cute to boot), the drinks are strong (be careful!) and the brunch food is actually quite good. Unlike the gay bars I've experienced near me patrons are approachable instead of cliquish. I absolutely love the huge patio. Tables are scattered throughout with ledges at the perimeter to stand and chat as well. There's an indoor dance floor after 9 (dining room is converted) and people actually do dance (and the music is current). read more

We had a delicious dinner at Aqua last weekend. My friend had the poke bowl and I had the crab cake sandwich. Both were delicious! We enjoyed dining outside on the patio under the lanterns. Terrible. If i could give 0 stars i would. We were sat on the patio & there were many flies. We got our appetizer & there were flies all around it. As i fought off a few flies i accidentally knocked my cup of water over on my food that i didn't even get to touch, we asked the waiter if we could have a fresh plate. He took the plate back and came back out with the same soggy food we just spilled water one & said he attempted to wipe it & asked if we wanted it still . we then asked him "would you eat this ??" & he said no but still refused to bring a fresh batch out & still charged us even though we didn't eat it ... Great place for drinks while you're enjoying time in Rehoboth. However, this past visit found me and my friends eating there, which was a first for me. We were there late so it wasn't a problem getting a table. We ordered nachos and calamari to start. Both were fine, nothing great, but also not horrible. I ordered a burger, which was well cooked and pretty big, with fries. I think the most surprising element of dining at Aqua was that the prices were very reasonable. Of course, the staff is very friendly and nice. I'll definitely be back for drinks, but I'd also be happy to eat at Aqua again. read more

We were out of steam from walking around Poodle Beach and people watching on the pier (how many pounds of fries do you think she's going to eat?!) so we decided to find a place with a patio and cold drinks. Aqua Grill? Bingo. When we arrived we were one of three tables but by the time happy hour came around (the drinks don't get any cheaper, just BIGGER) there was a fun crowd forming. Our server, Alex, was extremely attractive AND good at his job. We asked about the evening crowd and he said that it gets packed to the point of not being able to move. I'd like to be there for that next time! Alas, we had to head back to Annapolis since we were without lodging for the evening. Next time. We didn't sample much food but we did get an order of the sliders, "surf-and-turf" style (2 beef burgers, 2 crab cakes). They were both good but I'd stick with the straight-up burgers next time as they were the best. Smoky! Just an aside, a shirtless Serbian server showed up right before we left and, for those of you who like the big, beefy eastern Europeans, I'd highly recommend a visit. Drinks were strong, cold and quickly served. The only thing that knocked off a star was that Dane went to the bar to get a dollars worth of quarters for the meters in front. We had already gone through 3 or 4 dollars worth and just wanted to stick around another hour. No dice. The bartender said he "didn't have any" and our server said he didn't have any either. I was more apt to believe our server, Alex, since he wasn't walking around with a cash register but the bartender? How about you order some extra quarters, Aqua Grill? This place is frequently PACKED, probably mostly the result of only three gay bars in Rehoboth Beach these days, not the quality of their food or drink. I like to think of myself as a fairly flexible, adventurous person. Having spent some time there, I worry about the level of appreciation that others show. Things must be DESPERATE in that neck of the woods. The evening we were able to get a table, The table was a barrel, with no room for knees. The chairs were uncomfortable. The chanteuse was off-key and had a limited vocal range. The sandwiches were COLD, BLAND and UNAPPETIZING.. The waiters were disinterested. Went to awful Cooter Brown the night prior. The preceding lunch here was delightful and redeeming. The grilled tomato caprese stack was perfect. The chef clearly understands how to crisp a tomato under a soft mozzarella slice, so good. The salmon entree was perfectly seasoned and cooked, with a flaky presentation. This was probably my favorite bar in Rehoboth. We came though at night for drinks and also for brunch and both experiences were great. The patio space in front of the bar is really pleasant and spacious enough to handle large crowds. The service was very friendly (really surprised to see so many reviews about unfriendly servers...very much not the case for us) and I thought the prices were reasonable. Like most places in Rehoboth, it's a short stroll from the beach and just about everything else in town. Be warned that there is a $20 credit card minimum. I don't begrudge small businesses for having minimums but $20 seemed a little high to me. read more

Not your typical diner by any means, but the food here is surprisingly delicious- we came here really late and still got great service from Sherry, who was super awesome and really took care of us. When we got there we realized they had a very limited food selection so we mostly got turkey sandwiches, some nachos and fruit but the sandwiches were imaginative, fun, and huge! Came here on a Saturday night and out of all the places i visited this one had a more younger crowd compared to the other places. The DJ was great always hitting me with bangers the whole night. Every time i said i was going to leave he would play another really good song and kept me dancing for a long time. The bartenders were very nice aswell. I will come back for sure! read more

Such good food for dinner. The caprese salad was fantastic. Fluffy, flavorful mozzarella and fresh tomatoes. Incredibly good crab cakes with perfectly-cooked fresh asparagus and Brussels sprouts. The service is fun and friendly, and very attentive. Definitely a Rehoboth favorite. read more

Changes for 2017 season are disappointing. Menu is totally revised and almost all of the former and familiar favorites have been eliminated, particularly with the burgers. Prices are considerably higher and no longer a good value. The VIP card has been discontinued, and drink prices are $1 more than last year. My group of friends as well as myself are reluctantly no longer eating there every Friday night. The Iguana Grill across the street is now our default place to eat after happy hour. read more
