    Advance Auto Parts refused to honor the 2-year warranty on the battery I bought six months ago. I…read morehave filed a complaint via the BBB with its corporate office and will follow up in order to resolve the issue in good faith. Here is the complaint as filed: In June 2018, I purchased a new "silver" car battery for my 2013 Ford Edge. Today, while having the oil changed at the Ford dealership, the diagnostics ran showed that the battery measured at 484 CCA. Evidently, it should measure at 590 CCA. Therefore, the dealership stated that the battery should be replaced immediately - there was no other cause found that would explain the low charge. It was simply a battery that needed to be replaced. So, I went to the Advance Auto Parts store in White Lake on this same day at 7:15 p.m.- this was the same store where I bought, and had installed, the battery. The two gentlemen working there this evening ran diagnostics on my vehicle which showed the battery measured at 513 CCA. They asked me what year my Explorer was, and I told them it was a 2013 model year as well as an Edge, not an Explorer. Both gentlemen stated that they would be willing to charge the battery for me which would get me home but, would not be sustainable long term. Since the battery has a two-year warranty, I asked that it be replaced with a new one - that request was refused. I asked if I should escalate the issue to the store manager, Megan Wilson, and I was told that she would tell me the same thing. So, an expensive part purchased for my vehicle appears to be defective and is performing in a sub-par fashion yet, Advance Auto Parts refuses to replace the battery with an optimally performing part, in good faith. The warranty should be honored and I should be given a new, and installed, battery as opposed to charging the defective one temporarily. Buyer, most certainly beware....Thank you.

    Not the best service but far from the worst only problem is I'm pretty certain I left my pocket…read moreknife on the counter there and I left got home realised I left my knife back there and so I called and know one knew anything about it so I'm pretty sure an employee stole it.
