However, after the cancellation, I called several other groomers in the area to find a new appointment as we were not available the next day. Every groomer I spoke with explained that a puppy's first grooming is typically a gentle introductory visit with a face, feet, sanitary trim, and nail trim rather than a full groom. The quotes I received from multiple businesses ranged from $55 to $75 for that type of appointment. Based on that, I felt that the $150 quote I received was excessive, especially since the owner did not explain that a puppy's first visit is usually handled differently. I understand that businesses set their own prices, but I wanted to share my experience so other puppy owners can compare services and pricing before booking.

I would think after a few sessions with the same dogs, it'd consistent, yet she still butchered their groom. I understand she is probably very busy, but there's simply no excuse for charging a high price and providing bad grooms. I expressed my frustration and she wasn't very receptive. I do not recommend this groomer. Find a different groomer.

I had to seek another groomer. Unfortunately, the new groomer was in a camper with her own pets (maybe had fleas?) after grooming my pups had a bad case of fleas. Tried to treat them but they both had bad reactions to the treatment involving in one of them passing. Absolutely heartbroken! She…read moredid amazing with her and she took her time was patient with her, which is very important to me. I trusted her with my baby and she's obviously took very good care of her. It was her first visit to the groomers and her first haircut so she could only cut her face her paws and her little butt, but she was shampooed. She got a blueberry facial. She was blown out so that she could be cut and she looks like a little lion now, but her hair is starting to curl up a little bit now on the top of her head so she's back looking like a little teddy bear.

I have to agree with so many of the other pawsitive reviews here…read more We took our elder female chihuahua here for day care to get her accustomed to the idea when we need to board her in the future as my wife and I are planning on some trips in the coming years. We needed somewhere reliable and appropriate for our dogs. This place is awesome. Like many others said, we came and took a tour of the facility and didn't even have to make an appointment. Everyone of the staff was amazing and Kiwi seemed to like it (she is cranky at times). We will be using these folks for a long time to come. They can also groom the dogs while they are there so our husky is going to be going real soon. Thank you Fur & Feathers!
