I live on the coast and was in Central Point for a week because of a family member's illness. The…read moreweather in Central Point was snowy and icy while I was there, and the weather I was driving back to on the coast was windy and rainy. My nerves were already shot after a scary, worrisome week (that thankfully ended well!) and I just wanted some safety reassurance, so I stopped by Firestone to ask if they'd take a look at the pressure in my tires before I made the drive back home; I had super precious doggie cargo in the car after all! The Firestone staff told me to pull right up to the garage, came out and checked my tires, added some air, and that was that. They didn't charge me a cent. It was such a kind gesture, and the service put my mind at ease before the long drive home. I found the folks at Firestone on Table Rock Road to be good people. Take your vehicle there!

Even though it was the end of their shift, they were patient, kind, and never made us feel rushed. They took the time to thoroughly explain everything, made sure we felt comfortable and taken care of, and showed genuine care and professionalism throughout the entire process. It's rare to receive that level of service these days--especially right before closing--but they exceeded every expectation. Because of their dedication, attitude, and willingness to help, they turned what could have been a stressful situation into a great experience. Firestone is lucky to have employees like them, and they absolutely deserve recognition. We will definitely be back and will recommend this location to others.

I have a cabin in Scott valley and because of COVID I haven't been there in a year so my truck just…read moresat there and the company (not Tim's auto) I had supposedly taking care and using the truck as a shop truck didn't do their job and cold started my truck. I'm sure they hadn't run my truck in over a year so they just jumped in and start it which ended up sticking a valve. They handed me back the truck and said it runs rough because of bad gas to just get good gas in it and it will be fine. They lied the truck wouldn't even start the next day and the company is closed on the weekend Then I call Tim's auto, Tim answers the phone I tell him the issues and he tells me he will come get it. I say no need I have insurance they will come get it he tells me no I have my trailer ready to go. Tim came and got the truck for free then knowing that I needed the truck worked late to get my truck back to me with in a day and kept me in the loop on everything that's going on. You don't find this in many shops and he's honest something that truly doesn't happen much any more specially when dealing with older model vehicles not everything can be diagnosed on the computer. Fantastic service and a quality mechanic thanks Tim

I slid into this place with almost completely bald tires, not really sure what to do because tires are pricey (hence the bald ones I've been driving on for too long, or so I thought thanks to Les Schwab. A dude named Austyn, I think, was in there and showed me some options that were less than half the price of the last set I got. Turns out Austyn is the manager, and he himself and a couple guys from his team jumped right in to get me squared away and back on the road, no crazy wait time or other stuff. It's a little crazy that places with service like that still exist. I'll make this my go to anytime im in Medford. Thanks.

I don't usually leave reviews, but this experience with Point S Tire & Auto Service was too…read moreconcerning not to share. I bought a set of tires from them for about $600 (almost $900 installed). In less than 10,000 miles (about a year and a half), the tires started showing visible tread chunking and abnormal wear. When I had another shop look at them, they estimated the tires had already lost about 50% of their tread life, which is extremely premature. When I first brought my vehicle back to Point S, they told me I needed a rack and pinion replacement and quoted around $2,000. That didn't sit right, so I got two additional opinions. Both confirmed there was no issue with the rack and pinion. When I returned and told them this, they said the original diagnosis may have been a mistake and that they could have confused rainwater for a fluid leak. That explanation alone was concerning. They also dismissed the tire wear as normal, despite the low mileage, visible damage, and feedback from other shops. They did not offer meaningful help with a warranty claim or take responsibility for the situation. At that point, I lost confidence and chose to go elsewhere. Between the incorrect $2,000 repair recommendation and the unwillingness to address what appears to be premature tire failure, I would not return. I strongly recommend getting a second opinion if you're told you need major repairs here.
