Found this place by their mail ads for a $30 full synthetic oil change and was happy to get exactly that when I took one of my vehicle. If your car takes more than the standard 5 quarts then you pay more than $30 but still less than anywhere else. They'll also do an full inspection of your vehicle and notify you of any recommended repairs and prices are fair, the only downside of this place is that they don't let you keep the printout of suggested repairs. I understand that it's not a paid diagnostic so if they don't want to send out their quotes out with you that's alright (though everywhere else does), but they should provide a printout without the prices so that you can come back and do repairs in parts if you can't afford to do them all at once. Other than that, the service and communication here is exceptional the waiting area is nice with coffee, water, and other refreshments. Will definitely keep coming back! read more

On top of that, I was told I would only need to pay a $200 deductible, yet I was charged $400 instead. When I asked why, I was told it was due to additional taxes, which was never explained beforehand. This feels misleading and unfair. I've been a loyal customer of this shop for over 3 years, regularly bringing both of my vehicles (a 2018 Honda Civic and a 2020 Toyota Corolla). But after my most recent experience, I won't be coming back. On July 1st, I took my Civic in for a noise when accelerating. They told me it was the belt and replaced it. Two weeks later, the noise was still exactly the same. I returned, and this time they said it was the belt tensioner. I dropped the car off at 9:30 a.m. and picked it up at 4:30 p.m., but the sound persisted. The car was in the shop all day, and they didn't even bother to test it before or after the job. When I noticed the issue remained, I immediately went back. The manager assisted me, but when I explained that the noise only happens when the car is moving, he refused to test drive or properly inspect it. Instead of trying to resolve the issue, he just said he would refund the money--with a rude and dismissive attitude. And worst of all: before I left, the manager made hand gestures as if he was kicking me out, waving me away with a "shh shh shh" motion, without even saying anything. Completely disrespectful and humiliating for any customer--especially one who has trusted this shop for years. Total lack of professionalism, zero accountability, and no respect for the customer. Integrity is so hard to come by in any industry let alone the auto industry and their team has it in abundance. Phil, the manager was absolutely incredible. I hired them to do a tip to tail inspection on my car to be prepared for upcoming expenses and not only did his team do a thorough job, but Phil walked me through everything they recommended and why as well as their order of importance. Even going so far as to show me and reproduce the problem right before my eyes. Can't even believe what I had to deal with this past weekend. Dropped my car off to get the tires checked bc they were showing low pressure sign on dash & after filling with air couple days would go by & it would be low again (did that twice). Dropped it on Friday afternoon with them confirming they can get the job done before the end of the day, as they are closed weekends. They said they would call before doing anything to my car. After not getting a call from them & giving them benefit of the doubt (thinking they're just busy) I called twice around 5:30-5:45 and no answer. I got there maybe 5-10 minutes after they closed thinking maybe they took down the wrong number & couldn't contact me & hoping someone would be there to see if I'd come for my car. No one there and they are closed for the weekend so I'm left without a car while still needing to get myself to work. This morning (Monday) I left 2 voicemails since they have two different numbers. After not getting a call back from them I had to call AGAIN and discussed with the manager what had happened. All I got was an apology & was told someone had an emergency & they couldn't do the job, not mentioning how they didn't think to contact me where I could just come back & take my car. Honestly just shocked they held my car hostage for two days unexpectedly without contacting me & showed no empathy for the fact. I know on my part I could have come earlier to the car shop to check it out in person but this is still after the fact of calling twice and not getting an answer on the phone. After going in today to get my car, I spoke with the front desk who took the blame for it. He said he had an emergency, had to leave & did not notify anyone of my car or what had to be done. After explaining to him how I was left without a car all weekend having to Uber to work, all he offered was an apology. Crazy that you have no sympathy for taking away someone's means of transportation needed to go to work & them now having to pay out of pocket for a mistake YOU made. Did not offer compensation for anything at all, did not offer free service, nothing, just an apology. Couldn't even speak to the owner or manager in person as he stepped out for lunch so nothing could truly be done. I get emergencies come up but no communication with your team about anything? I also don't know what kind of business doesn't check their voicemails, especially having two numbers, why have two numbers when you're not going to listen to either voicemail boxes?? What a crazy encounter & honestly after he handed me my keys I just walked out, didn't want to listen to any other bullshit. I really wanted to like this place. The customer service agent that helped me was nothing but courteous and helpful. The waiting area is very clean and you would never think you were at an auto shop. However, that's about as far as I can say, was good. I already had an idea that a wheel bearing was going bad and after evaluation by their mechanic, it was confirmed. They suggested replacing both and after considering things, I agreed. Even though there was nothing really wrong with my other bearing, I might as well. We opted to wait for the repair at home since I was told it would probably take the rest of the day. The following day, I still had not heard anything. I called three times, before I was told they'd had a "hiccup". The tech snapped my axle when installing the new parts and they would replace it at their cost. Okay. No problem. Waited and waited. No phone call. Called them an hour prior to closing to be told they just got the parts and it would be done first thing the next morning. Finally picked it up the next day and drove the 2 miles home. The next day, my wife and I leave our garage and immediately have to stop due to a strange noise coming from the front. I look and my brake caliber is almost completely off the rotor. I call and they say they will send a tow truck. An hour goes by; nothing. Hour and 30 minutes, I call back requesting the tow truck contact info to get an update. 3 hours later, we are back at the shop. The truck goes on the lift, and turns out they never attached my brake calipers at all. They ordered and replaced the missing parts and gave a partial refund. Also wheels scratched. However, I will not be coming back(except to fix anything covered by the warranty) and will not be recommending them to anyone. read more

If I could leave ZERO stars I would. C&G has caused over $4,000 in damages while my car was in their possession. The manager PHILIP and advisor DAVID are beyond unprofessional and unethical, they flat out lied to me saying these damages where there before... Meanwhile I just had my car at another shop a few days before who did a thorough inspection and these problems did not exist until after C&G Auto tore my engine apart. Every single thing that went wrong within 1 day after leaving C&G AUTO was directly caused due to their SLOPPY, SHODDY WORK on replacing the VALVE COVERS GASKETS (WHICH CONTINUES TO LEAK OIL). THEY BROKE MY COOLANT LINES, WATER PUMP, SEVERED BREATHER TUBE, LEFT RADIATOR GRILL AND AIR INTAKE SHATTERED TO PIECES. ALSO, I SPENT $2K for them to replace the upper control arms and bushings, radius arm bushings which WERE NEVER REPLACED!!! My suspension is still shot! (I had my car up on the lift at another shop that verified this) C&G Auto clearly lacks professionalism and expertise to work on European cars, as they claimed to specialize in AUDI repairs. I caught them in so many lies on the repairs they did to my car, they will gaslight you to death instead of taking accountability. After being misled multiple times, I requested to speak directly with the OWENER or upper management, but the only person to talk to me was the same manager Phillip who continues to provide false information (YOU HAVE TO TALK TO ME MENTALITY) He claimed that the "corporate office" would reach out in 30-60 days which was another delay tactic and more misinformation because they have no corporate office. It has now been three months, and I haven't received any communication from their "corporate office or owner" This isn't just a minor issue; they have caused THOUSANDS of dollars in damage to my car. I feel deceived and regret having fallen for their "friendly customer service" shtick. If the actual owner of this business see this. This workshop focuses on making a fake claim to the extended warranty company and instead asks for authorization to check things on the car with your permission and it is only to charge something ... the car has problems in cylinder # 3 and they only tested that fault and try to charge at all costs for financing and notifying that 85% of their clients choose this option to do the work and it is only to charge $ 2,050 and give the finance companies the possibility of earning high prices for a repair that they will not do and is not worth that high cost 5 times its price compared to the same BMW they made a restoration only to the spark plugs and without knowing what it could be the injector of cylinder # 3 but that was already known to charge more than the $ 2,050 for the coils in the end the car would come out for more than $ 4,000 just for that ... for my simple opinion it is one more workshop that is only based on stealing from living...advice...make your arrangements with YouTube videos, it will be more certain that the car will turn out well...do not take your cars to C&G because you will pay just to have your car looked at as a possible automatic cage. So I went here to get my A/C fixed and it is blowing cold air now, and I've very happy with that. The customer service is excellent, and they make you feel like family and the woman at the front (I believe is Margarita) really knows how to give you a great experience. The reason for the 3 stars is now I have a loud squeak, coming from the serpentine belt. I called them the next day to explain the situation and they checked it out for me to see the problem. They explained that while they were fixing the a/c some compressor oil got onto the tensioner and its causing the belt to squeak. I would need to replace my belt and they were willing to set up an appointment to have that done. I know how to do some minor work on cars and this was a very easy thing to change. Keep in mind that I changed the tensioner a month before so it is brand new. While changing the serpentine belt, I saw some gunk around the smaller wheel and that had to be the problem because after the belt was replaced the loud squeak was still there. This made me feel like there was some dishonesty from their technician about what actually happened to the tensioner wheel and now I have to pay to fix something I didn't cause. It had to be some sort of corrosive liquid other than oil. I feel like they did a very good job with my a/c, but not so with the aftercare. read more

They are not the kind of people who will BS and rip you off. I took several cars to them for various issues, I always felt that they were kind and decent. This week I took my Toyota Prius due to a Hybrid system warning. Toyota wanted to charge me $230 an hour to diagnose the issue. But C&G looked at it for free and gave me several options for repair and also gave me some alternative options I was expecting. Even though the repair was something I was not expecting, they did not need to give me other options but were kind enough to do so. My A/C stop working after a day at the beach and in our Florida heat a working a/c is a must! After spending the day visiting other shops and several calls these guys gave me the best price and a free estimate! Being that I got there late in the day and no return to home plan I was provided a free uber ride. I believe it's a family business so everyone was very nice. I was traveling with my family in Orlando. One morning, I woke up and noticed a flood of green fluid under my car and assumed my car had a problem. Based on reviews, I took my car to C&G. We were on a weekend trip to Orlando when by the strike (literally) of bad luck our alternator broke. We were stranded for an entire day when I called around to different mechanic shops and C & G were the only ones able to replace our alternator. I provided the new alternator and was quoted $240 for the repair. To my disbelief once the work was done they charged me $450!!! They claimed to be a caring business but after I repeatedly told them that I did not want any additional work on my car down the then they doubled the labor costs out of spite!! I was extremely disappointed with this service and company and will further make it a point to make it known to anyone I can about the "hustle" they have going. read more

We took our car here last night to get it looked at. Turns out we need spark plugs, ignition coils etc. They quoted us $545 just for plugs and coils. She said an hour and a half for labor to do both. I asked how much the parts were and she said $50 per coil X 4 and $57 for spark plugs. That's $257. She said labor was $167 which is $424 total not $545. When I asked her about it, she became VERY combative and said "I'm sorry but we will no longer work on your car, please come pick it up." Either she doesn't know what she's talking about or the entire place is "that" mechanic that you read about that is shady and isn't honest. I STRONGLY recommend not getting anything done here. I use to go to this place all the time. I work near by and use to refer all my employees to this place. Had a small garage feel and the owner was hands on and you really got the sense that he was really trying to help fix the problem while saving you money. A while ago they brought on a service manager type person that is OBVIOUSLY partially compensated by revenue generated. While this is not unusual or illegal I did have a problem with service, that I did not need, being pushed on me. This has happened multiple times. And their prices are now pretty close to what my dealer charges. The only reason I'm not giving it 1 star is because once-upon-a-time they were truly rock stars. I took my car here around July, and I thought they did a good job. Plus I loved how they gave me a report of everything. After paying and leaving there still was work needed In my car Which I know since it said it on the report. I had my step dad check out the problems they lied! They said I needed new back brakes we checked they were brand new. When in the report it said it was worn and needed them badly! Meaning they are just trying to sponge people for money! Second the charge for the parts is ridiculous they give generic brands, and expect you to pay as if it was name brand from a dealership! Third I went back today to see if I can get a diagnosis on my car because I live close and explained to the owner my last problem and she assured me she will look at everything to make sure it was done right. I came in at 2:30 and was told they would have my car done today. Yet they didn't call me until 5:02 to tell me they didnt finish and to come back tomorrow when they close at 6.
