Paul at C & J Auto Services is great! I needed to have the spark plugs changed on my 2013 Nissan Murano, as well as it was due for a radiator flush. It was a big job, as Nissan designed the 3.5L V6 engine so that the intake manifold has to be removed to replace the spark plugs ! Paul and his mechanic were able to do it for the very fair price he quoted, and in the time he told me it would take. He even test drove it before and after the repair to compare the performance difference. It's now running much better. Although C&J is not necessarily a Nissan specialty repair place, they knew how to do expertly do this. You will be in good hands if you chose C&J Auto Services for your car. Paul is one of the nicest men I have ever met when it comes to taking my vehicles to a honest auto shop. I have taken my Nissan there in the past, everything was clogged, and the cooling system was failing. He said it would be around $3000, but he said he wanted me to look up the warranty because Nissan had extended it's warranty from 60,000 miles to 120,000 miles, sure enough what was wrong with my car was under warranty and Paul did not take a nickel from me. This guy sold me a car, lied about what was wrong with it, said it was a simple fix wouldnt cost me more than about $300. He said that multiple times- so i drive it home and take it to my mechanic tell him to fix it, first off it wasnt just $300, i get a phone call from my mechanic telling me that its not what i thought, it was the T arm or something like that and that its a huge safety issue, he cant let me drive it off his property- $1400 dollars later i go to pick it up, and he shows me where it was broke- and yea it was a huge problem, and im lucky i wasnt in an accident on my way home. If he let me drive it home that way, i can only imagine how many others have risked there lives by letting him work on their car. I made the mistake of trusting him because i believed that him being a mechanic was a plus, and who would put a lady and her son and grandson in harms way like that. He had several chances to tell me the truth, i even went as far as to say, 'are you sure its nothing more?' A while back, I saw a coupon for this business in an add and figured I would try it because the reviews looked pretty promising. I brought my car in for an oil change. At the time, I thought everything went well except they ended up charging me extra fees for things not mentioned on the coupon. The next time that I needed an oil change, I went to my normal mechanic who told me that C and J auto service not only used a very cheap oil filter and cheap oil but more importantly had stripped the oil plug causing me to have to purchase a new one. Thank goodness it was only a $20 part but the point is that if a mechanic cannot handle a simple oil change, I certainly can't trust them to do anything else on my car. I just hope to warn others about my experience so maybe they will think twice on bringing your car to C and J. read more

I took my fathers car here to get repaired so it would pass the CA smog test. They seemed really nice and sincere, but don't let that fool you. After over $700.00 worth of work, I was no better off than I was at the start. All of a sudden when I questioned his honesty with my car repairs, he was not nice any longer. He was very short, and flat out rude. They were unable to do the correct repairs, and would not admit to it. Bottom line is, the ad in the Shopper magazine reads "Honest-Reliable-Affordable", you need to place a "UN'" in front of all those words, as C&J laughed there way all the way to the bank. Don't we all dread going to the Mechanic? My Lexus was due for a smog test and it failed. I found this auto shop by driving by. I was told that my car needed a part that was going to cost me between $300-400. I had shopped around and felt most confident with this shop. I dealt with Julio (the mechanic) and the owner, Paul. Both very honest and good people. They repaired the part, had me drive around to reset the mileage computer, then had me check back, but the engine light kept coming back on. They suggested I go buy a new gas cap ($5 at a auto supply store), and that solved the trick. They were honest, quick, and a pleasure to work with. I went to C & J to have an oil change. I had a coupon for $24.95. I drive a Toyota Tacoma truck and told them so when I made the appointment for the oil change. When I got there they asked me if it was a 4 or 6 cylinder and when I told them it was a 6 cylinder he said it would be $30. In the coupon it said it was for 5 quarts of oil and the spec for my truck is 5.2 quarts with an oil filter. I asked him why it was more than the coupon and he said it took more oil. I told him I just wanted the 5 quarts and I would add STP. We went back and forth on why it would be $30 and he kept saying it was a 6 cylinder and it took more, somewhat acting like he didn't understand my reasoning. I ended up leaving and felt the coupon was just to get you in there and then they bump up the price. Their add said " HONEST, RELIABLR, AFFORDABLE", I don't think they are any of these things. I will not go back, and it was also very dirty. Try Performance Tune up & Lube on Los Angeles St. he is honest and does good work. read more
