My family has been taking our cars to Viwat since we moved to Simi in the 90s. He uses genuine parts.

I always recommend Vivat to all my friends. He always takes good care of all my cars (ES350H, Camry, and previously my Highlander).

Viwat is the best mechanic for my Prius and he always gives me a cheaper price on major services compared to Toyota.

FAST and friendly service from start to finish! We were immediately offered snacks and drinks while…read morewe waited, and they took the time to clearly explain the repairs our car needed. They even offered a complimentary shuttle to the outlet mall so my family and I wouldn't have to sit in the waiting room. We were driving from Stockton to Long Beach--almost a 6-hour trip--and were in the final hour when our car suddenly overheated. After discovering a coolant leak, we first went to the local Kia dealership, where we were told that if we dropped it off on Thursday, they probably wouldn't even inspect it until Monday. Since we were heading back home on Saturday, that wasn't an option. Thankfully, we found Asian Auto Works. We carefully drove our car there, and what started as a stressful beginning to our vacation turned into a wonderful experience for my husband, kids, and me. The team diagnosed the problem, completed the repairs quickly, and got us safely back on the road so we could enjoy the rest of our trip. I truly can't say enough good things about them. Their honesty, professionalism, efficiency, and outstanding customer service exceeded every expectation. Highly recommend--10/10! If you're ever in the area and need an auto repair shop you can trust, this is the place to go.

Picked up the Friday late! Drove around for a bit was able to finally get it smogged and now after months and months of trying to figure it out! Pricing was reasonable for what was done! I took my vehicle home from this shop after a repair, with a new problem. Never had an ABS light…read morebut now I do. It's ok, the mechanic says that it is nothing "dangerous". This flags everything I know about abs system lights and abs system functions, I was told that the OBD2 ABS light could only be read by a different system by checking flashes of light from the (maybe obd1 type system type diagnostic system). Funny it would have two totally different diagnostics. But, I am not a mechanic. I'm just a girl. I was told that the ABS light could be from the vehicle being confused by what gear it was in as they were doing the service. They might have moved to with the vehicle in one gear and the transmission thought it was in a different gear. (This made no sense to me, but I'm just a girl). I paid way too much for corrections to my steering system, Im gonna say that's my fault, I don't know steering systems as well. I believe the people that say they are trying to help me. But I'm just a girl. I requested inspection of my transmission as the primary reason of my visit but they correctly and to their credit identified steering column issues as the main culprit. I still don't like the price, but they do have overhead and it's my problem for not checking their prices.' I was given half off the transmission check that never really happened. I was told that I was able to get that half off because " we already got enough labor from you". I'm just a girl but I have done my own head gasket, power steering pump, motor mounts, radiators, various sensors and hoses. But I let my inexperience in shifting and steering column issues get me taken advantage of. Until you wanted to drop a transmission pan for $550ish (it's about 20 bolts and some fluid) , and then tell me what you found. I said no and got a vehicle back with a ABS light that wasn't there when I dropped it off. but I can bring it back for them to fix it for no guarantee that it wouldn't cost me money. I'm just really surprised an AAA rated business would send someone down the road with a ABS light that wasn't there when they brought it in and then tell the vehicle owner that it wasn't something dangerous to drive with (ABS is kinda a big deal).
