When he showed me there was other issues with my car besides the original issue he was forcefully trying to get a money grab like most shops. He also listed the issue in order based on safety concerns. After calling him at least 12 times the car was returned to me in the beginning of June covered in bird poop and filthy inside with a spray paint job from a can. After the equinox was examined by the Genesis Chevy dealership, they gave me a diagnostic with all of the issues wrong which is posted in review . At this point, my posts about the terrible service are affecting Kouder's business ,so he called me today and threatened to come by my house and hurt me if I don't stop. Please don't deal with this dishonest man, as now I have to file a police report and sue him.

In the process, they , managed to break my power antenna, the finger pull on my battery compartment, and my cruise control no longer works. In addition - I had to adjust the idle myself, which was why I took it there in the first place.

Later that same day he called and told me that there really wasn't a problem that a seal "weeped", but it wasn't a big problem at this point in time. I just needed to watch the oil level. This was my fourth time taking my vehicles to their repair shop and the consistency of being honest with the work and timing is reliable.

My daughter took my car here for the second time they charged her $150 (less a $25 coupon) for what they said was 7.7 quarts of oil. She called me from their store so I proceeded to ask - what did they do for that price? She said they only changed the oil but told her I needed coolant and an air filter - but they didn't have the coolant for my vehicle. Universal coolant was incompatible. They also showed her a dirty air filter and put it back in my car. I guess they didn't have that either! I asked her to put him on the phone and he claimed to be the Asst Manager. I was asking what to do about the coolant since they didn't have it. He told me to go to the auto store and purchase it, however, I was asking if there was any credit given for them not doing that and he commenced to YELLING into the telephone over and over saying "maam I told you if we put this universal coolant in your car it'll mess it up. You want me to mess up your car!?" I was stunned!!! He yelled this over and over and so I asked for a Manager. He proceeds to get a "General Manager" who he would only let me speak to on speaker phone who was just as rude. I tried to pose my question again and He immediately started yelling the same tired trope as the so called Assistant Manager who was standing next to him holding the speaker phone. If they had not already started my oil change I would have told my daughter to back my vehicle out of there! There is no excuse for speaking to a customer in that manner- ever. Then Asst Mgr yells "I already told you to buy the coolant and we'd put it in your car!" Which he may have said previously but I didn't hear - due to the manner in which he was speaking to me. Their full service oil change ended up being $125, not full service and topped off with a side of ignorance. I would not allow anyone I love (nor hate) to go to this facility. If I could give them a zero I would.

When I started calling the Detroit area came across best tires very close to where my sister lives that I was visiting. Their price was about 40% less than I could find it for anywhere in Wisconsin. The tires I was quoted in Wisconsin were for the most part brand name, and these that I bought from best tires were not. They were offbrand and I paid less because of that but they still have the 60,000 mile warranty as I was expecting. I will be returning this may my neighbor will need tires for his late model Silverado, and when I called best tires they buy the least expensive prices out there. I did look at another place very close and they were about $50 less but I got put on the back burner and the manager of that other store never emailed me my information for tire prices, tire size tire style etc. even after calling and reminding him twice. I will go back to tires and pick up the next set for my neighbor and bring them back to Wisconsin upon my return. I see reviews where people think they got poor service, and I was in the autobody industry for 35 years before I retired and everybody slips through the cracks sometimes. I did not everything was as they said, and I will go back again.
