This company provides excellent and professional service. Leonel is professional, knowledgeable and polite. He diagnoses the problem carefully and and explains and answers your questions thoroughly. Our AC unit stopped cooling and the homeowners warranty company first sent a different company (EMS home services) that provided a bad initial service. After my complain, the warranty company reviewed the report from EMS and determined that their service was not good. So, they send C&N Mechanical instead. What a huge difference! Leonel, from C&H Mechanical listened to my description of the issue, then proceeded to make a thorough check of the system, explained his diagnosis and answered all my questions. He diagnosed a leak in the evaporator coil, but also recommended to change the condenser unit as it was 30 years old and not working well (and had been patched up quite few times). Leonel patiently explained why replacing the condenser was important, and he said he would make those arguments to the warranty company, so they would cover the replacement. He reported the issues to the warranty company, whom agreed to replace both components. Once the parts were available, Leonel returned to make the installation. Great attention to detail in all the work, leaving all areas of work clean, well finished and more importantly the AC working and cooling better than before. Leonel really went above and beyond performing his work. I think the out of pocket price for the service was really fair and worth it. He showed up hours late, and barely looked at our unit before saying he'd never heard of the brand before and would have to use Google to figure it out. He was rude and condescending. Pride in workmanship.. Leonel takes pride in his work and it shows.. When you spot that from the get go, it's a good feeling for me. My warranty company wasn't covering this part failure because it was still under mfg warranty. They replace the part at no charge but it's my dime to cover rip out and install. He could have put me off for a few days because ink so he had other calls, but opted to help me out and get us going. I was about to head out on vacation for two weeks and if I wasn't having a house sitter come to stay with my dogs, I would have just dealt with it when I returned. These guys are great! Our A/C quit blowing cold air, and it was really starting to get warm in the house. I called these guys and they get to my house in Cedar Park from Taylor in under 45 min. I couldn't believe how fast they were. They figured it out, and fixed it quick. I don't know anything about air conditioners. The guy could've charged me anything in this heat, but he told me not to worry about it, and to just give them a nice review online, so here it is. There's a lot of people in this business that don't have a conscience, and will take advantage of people. These guys are the opposite. They would rather do a good job, and keep building on their good reputation. These guys are saved in my phone. I'll never call another A/C repair company. read more

Long overdue review, but I had my entire AC unit replaced during October of 2015. Leonel came out to do a smaller repair that wasn't fully covered by my warranty company. After a lot of thinking (and sweating,) I decided that replacing the whole unit (I'd had several issues leading up to this point) was a smarter option. Leonel gave me a very reasonable price to replace my whole unit (inside and out) and had it completed when promised. He's very thorough. I was glad that he explained everything he was doing, what kind of maintenance I should do in the meantime, etc. He called me days afterwards to ensure everything was up to my expectations. Awesome work!! I had a very rare problem with my HVAC unit. The fan of the HVAC would turn ON and OFF even when the thermostat was OFF. This would happen every hour (but hard to reproduce) hence reducing the efficiency of heating and not to mention the electricity bill. My home warranty guys assigned this work to C & N mechanical. Leonel was very courteous to listen to all the comments that i had to make. He isolated the problem wasn't with thermostat first, checked all the wiring inside the unit using his meter, tested the fan and the outside unit. He spent a good amount of time being on call with customer care for carrier and finding out if they knew about it. He got a possible solution from them and is working on it. I am unable to offer a review of their work but I can offer a review of their business practices. They were called to quote us for a hook up of a boiler they had installed in a home. Rep came to job site and gave us a quote, materials and labor all inclusive. When we received the bill, the verbal quote was almost doubled. When reminded about the original quote, and indicating that was all we would pay, we were accused of trying to "beat them out of a payment". Clearly, there is a lack of business integrity and an unwillingness to honor the timeworn practice of verbally quoting a job. We will never use them again and would never recommend them. read more
