It happened at 4:30 on a Friday in July and with all the 100+ temps that week, the three other companies I called in a panic were too busy to come out. A local friend of mine said she'd had two years of good service from Airco, so I tried them next and they got us some help in just a few hours. Ernie the technician was AMAZING, friendly and professional and a relief to work with. Later on during the water damage mitigation process with TX Dry Out & Restoration, we ended up needing to replace the old out-of-code HVAC, and had a great experience with Airco. Brandon was extremely helpful and happy to coordinate with TX Dry Out to get our new unit installed on schedule amid all the restoration work. Both Ernie and Brandon went above and beyond for us during a very stressful time, and I'm so grateful! Thank you, Airco!

He sold me the more expensive capacitor claiming it had a 5 year warranty, but he never provided a receipt or warranty information. He offered other services that would end up costing me thousands of dollars. It is unscrupulous to take advantage of others. I at least want the receipt and warranty for the work completed and paid for. A follow up would also be good business practice. I'll give two stars since my AC unit is fixed, but 1 star for customer service.

What made the experience particularly notable is that we had been service members with Radiant for the past four years. When we called them, the earliest prioritized appointment they could offer us was two weeks away, despite having no working AC in 100 degree weather. That experience prompted us to call Service Wizard instead, and I am very glad we did. Jeremiah was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and thorough. He took the time to explain what he was checking and what he found, without trying to sell us repairs or services we did not need. He also discovered that during a previous service visit, Radiant had installed the condensation shutoff on the secondary drain line rather than the primary line, where it should have been installed. I really appreciated Jeremiah catching and explaining that issue. Between the emergency availability, Jeremiah's knowledge and professionalism, and the overall experience, I was impressed enough to sign up for Service Wizard's membership before he left. After four years with another company's service plan, that says quite a bit. I feel much more confident knowing we have Service Wizard to call going forward. Highly recommend Jeremiah and Service Wizard!

**1/5 Stars - Big Waste of Time (and almost a lot of money)**…read moreI wanted to like Service Wizard, but my experience with them was incredibly frustrating. My AC condensation pipe was completely backed up and needed to be flushed. Their tech arrived on time and seemed very professional, spending about an hour and a half working on the unit and inspecting everything inside and out. However, he couldn't find where the evaporator line exited the house. His solution? Install an external pump and run a whole new drain line. The rough estimate for that was, well, a hell of a lot more than the $15 fee they charged me just to come out and take a look. When he left, I still had the exact same broken AC, was stressing over an exorbitant bill to fix it, and somehow found out I'd been signed up for a $15-a-month service plan that entitled me to another check-up in six months just in time for winter. Hoping to just get it resolved, I reached out to Service Wizard via Yelp later that evening to see if they could come back today to do the work the tech recommended. I never got a response. Frustrated, I called a different AC company. They actually answered the phone, sent technicians out right on time today, and those guys spent **five minutes** at my house before finding the external line, repairing it, and flushing my system. Problem completely solved in under five minutes, and the fee was incredibly cheap compared to the massive quote I got from Service Wizard. I will definitely be canceling my $15-a-month contract with Service Wizard and won't be recommending them going forward. Save yourself the headache and call someone else!

The technician returned the next day and, instead of standing by the original repair, blamed the attic's humidity and tried to squeeze another $300 out of me. After charging me nearly $600 the day before, they wanted even more money for a problem they clearly failed to fix the first time. Eventually, the technician repaired it again at no charge. Unfortunately, that "repair" was just as worthless as the first one. I also requested an itemized receipt so I could submit the repair for warranty reimbursement. They never sent it. No follow-up. No professionalism. No accountability. Now, only one week later, my AC is out AGAIN. So, to recap: * Nearly $600 spent. * AC failed within 30 minutes. * Attempted upsell for another $300. * Failed to provide the requested documentation. * AC failed again a week later. This company took my money, failed to properly diagnose or repair the issue, tried to charge me more when their repair didn't work, and then disappeared when I needed paperwork. If you enjoy wasting money, sweating, and dealing with excuses instead of solutions, then Honest Air Conditioning is the company for you. Otherwise, save yourself the frustration and call another company.

DO NOT RECOMMEND! I was a loyal, fully paying customer of…read moreGreen Leaf for over a year and a half, and my experience was defined by poor workmanship, broken promises, and a management team that ultimately let my warranty expire rather than help me use it. My issues started in April 2024 with a faulty tankless water heater installation, one of their own technicians later told me the crew had failed to install all required parts. That crew was subsequently laid off. Water was dripping from the exterior pipe and pushing into the attic. After significant back-and-forth, the symptoms were addressed, but the root installation failures were never formally resolved. During my Fall 2025 HVAC tune-up, a technician identified that the supply plenum from my original 2021 HVAC installation was undersized and improperly installed, something never flagged in any prior Green Leaf service visit. I followed up by email requesting next steps and never received a response. A year later, they were quoting me over $4,000 to fix an installation error that their own team had been servicing around for years without disclosing. The most serious issue involved my HVAC coil. In Spring 2026, my refrigerant was found to be low. Rather than immediately discussing a potential warranty claim on the coil, which would have been the right call, Green Leaf charged me for a refrigerant refill and pushed a $300 diagnostic fee. After weeks of back-and-forth, a UV dye test confirmed a visible leak at the top of the indoor coil. By then, Green Leaf had already terminated the business relationship and refused further service. At no point did anyone at Green Leaf ever mention that a coil replacement might be covered under warranty. They collected their charges, ran the clock out with delayed diagnostics, and walked away once the leak was confirmed. The one genuine bright spot was former Office Manager Michelle Lewis, who was consistently professional and communicative. The contrast between her service and what I experienced from General Manager Thos Graham, who shifted terms between emails and ended the relationship when I asked reasonable clarifying questions, was significant. I paid every invoice in full, renewed my membership, and gave Green Leaf every opportunity to make things right. What I got in return was a company that prioritized its billing over my best interests. Find a different HVAC and plumbing company!

The guy who came out was super nice. He diagnosed a bad compressor (in our 2 year old system) within minutes. Obviously parts are covered under manuf warranty, but we were on the hook for labor and somehow also the cost of freon (not unique to this company, but what a sham). Where it gets interesting: We were initially told it was $1600. Somehow after I had said yes, the estimate jumped to $2600. Supposedly this was due to the size of the unit and the amount of freon - our system requires 8lbs 2oz. Sticker shock on sticker shock...but whatever. We were just hoping to get out closer to the first estimate and moved forward with the appointment while the weather was nice. On the day they were scheduled to come, we were given a window of 8-12AM but told it would likely be around 10AM. We obviously made arrangements to be home. By 1PM, we had still not heard from them. My partner called to check in, and he was told by the office that they were running late on a job but would be there shortly. By 3:30PM, we had still not heard from their office. We ended up just canceling the appointment... These days, there's just no excuse for poor communication. It's super freaking rude to leave people waiting - people who have taken time off work to make sure they're there for the appointment window you provided to us. It's not that hard to keep people posted if things change. I fully respect the fact that other jobs can run late, etc. But to miss a 4 hour window by 3.5 hours without even a call to us is beyond ridiculous.
