Our visits to C&O is always fantastic! The service is exceptional and we are always greeted with a smile. We have been coming here for years to celebrate our families birthdays. The food is delicious from the entrees to the desserts. Our waiter Tito was awesome. Friendly and gracious. Thank you!!!!

Service here is so friendly and so helpful!! There's staff that walks around with garlic knots and water to refill, never had to ask for it! We sat on the outside patio with lights and heaters, perfect for a date or a family outing or a birthday party!! Honestly loved how family business this seemed and it was clean and warm and the prices are great!!

Overall: great space and service, food was just okay Garlic knots -the highlight, they keep bringing them out and they're really good Linguine with clams -lacked of clams, just okay Sausage pasta -good Pizza -dough was extremely thick, more like cheese bread Portion sizes are huge, which is nice, and the space is large with good service. Overall, a bit disappointing in terms of food quality. It's an easy, casual spot for a quick meal, but not somewhere I'd go out of my way for.

Came here last Saturday evening and was served by Eric. We were a party of 7 , with two little kids- so definitely a high needs table. Eric was patient, super friendly and very knowledgeable of the full menu (including wine list!.) It truly felt that he added to the experience of the restaurant! We come every year with our visiting family from Canada. The food, ambiance and unlimited garlic knots practically never disappoint however, I have to admit, service wasn't amazing the last 2 visits. It prompted us to start questioning our tradition. BUT....Eric put an end to the debate. Can't wait to come back again.... :)

This C&O used to be a 5 for us whenever we came. The one in Venice right near the beach went out of business. This one is still very good, but it is no longer fine dinning. We went and all the booths are gone and replaced with cheap tables and the most uncomfortable plastic chairs you will ever sit in. They have out door seating now taking up most of the parking lot and the heat lamps are ever so hot. Inside it is ever so cold. The food has gone downhill just a bit, but it is still very good. We went as a family so we ordered a lot of food. Their starter calamari is still great. Their linguini alfredo with shrimp is no longer great. They give the smallest amount of shrimp, we had 3 in ours and they were small. The steak (NY) was great and we were so happy with that. That is a great thing to order. The garlic knots are great and the desserts are super good. We won't be back because of the seats, but we will do pick up every now and again. The service was perfect, just perfect.

We arrived for our reservation 10 minutes early, and we were seated right away. From the moment we sat down, we received great and attentive service. One of the best things about this restaurant is the unlimited garlic knots. They are absolutely delicious and they really never stop refilling the plate while you wait for your food. Once the main entree arrives, they stop bringing them as often, but I'm sure they would bring more upon request. I ordered the linguine with scallops, shrimp, and clams. It had a very flavorful white wine sauce that really made the meal fabulous. My son ordered the kids pepperoni pizza and we were surprised by how large the pizza was considering it was for kids. It was about double the size of his face but he loved it. They had special cocktails for Valentine's Day weekend, and I had one of the margarita cocktails. It was really tasty, and they did not skimp on the alcohol. This is a great family friendly spot, and also a great spot for date night.

A quick and casual Italian spot in Marina del Rey that's specializes in garlic knots, good service, and large portions. I will say that there are other Italian places on the west side with better flavors so the C&O edge is that they offer large portions that are great to share and also their service is really great. Inside is very large, it has multiple floors and many different seating options. There was also a large private event going on there so they offer private dining rooms for large groups as well. They have a parking lot but it is $10 which is basically valet. We were able to find a free street spot directly across the street, so there should be plenty of parking options. The menu is quite large and has a lot of great options on it and almost each dish has the option to make it a "gargantuan" portion aside from certain specialty dishes. One thing that sets this place apart is they put garlic knots on your table and as soon as you eat them, they bring more over. They are honestly really good and it would be almost impossible to eat just one. For my entrée, I chose the Osso Buco, which was a special for the evening and upgraded my side to linguine with clams on it, which I thought was great. The Osso Buco was a bit fatty and I prefer when the side is risotto, but it was still very good and I would recommend. This would be a great casual option for a meal with friends or family and would also be a great option for kids. I would recommend if you are in the area and feel the price point is especially fair for the portion size that you get.

Food: 4.7/5 Service: 4.9/5 Value: 4.75/5 TLDR: come here and leave full and happy. Scan DoorDash code at front desk for free slice of tiramisu! I think we've found our new favorite Italian spot on the west side! A beautifully decorated interior, dim lighting, and friendly staff made this such a cozy restaurant that felt like we were in grandmas living room. Chelsea was a great, enthusiastic waitress - Thank you for the great service! Garlic Knots - warm, fluffy and oh so garlicky. The best thing? They ever stop coming. The staff comes around every ~10 minutes and refill your bread bowl! C&O Cioppino - so much seafood in a delicious broth. There were so many scallops, 2 mussels, 2 clams, and lots of chunks of fish. I felt like every bite I ate could be paired with a nice piece of seafood. Everything was perfectly cooked when served, and the fish was especially tender. Even better, you can dip the garlic knots in the soup and it is to die for. Strongly recommend and it comes at an affordable $27 price point. Seafood Cavatappi - fantastic seafood-y creamy sauce with a great balance of seafood and vegetables. Similar to the Cioppino, there was a great quantity of seafood that were perfectly cooked. I also liked that there was some spinach and red peppers just to provide a bit of freshness. Snickers Tartufo - strongly recommended on yelp and reminded me of some snickers ice cream I had when I was a kid. There was a lot of unnecessary whipped cream on the side which I didn't care for but could easily ignore. Tiramisu - a classic slice of tiramisu that was free if you check in on DoorDash. This was my first time encountering Doordash trying to get into the dine-in scene but was grateful to save $11!

Feeling some Italian food! Well C&O Cucina is one of my recommendations if you are in the Westside of the city. The service was great and the atmosphere is calm. The servers are quick to deliver quality service. The food, man ohhhhhh man, amazing. Cheesy, great spices, and simply enjoyable.

My friends and I have been coming here for years - sometimes to celebrate something and sometimes because we just crave their delicious food. I would recommend the Limon chicken Alfredo (apparently no longer on the menu but they'll still make it), the lobster pasta, the carbonara, and sausage rigatoni. I wish I could pick a favorite but I can't because they're all so tasty. Everything comes in regular portion size, which is still big enough to share, but they also have their pastas in gargantuan size. They walk around constantly putting yummy fresh garlic knots on your table (complimentary). I recommend ordering a side of marina sauce to dip them in. The staff is always super nice and attentive. Never had an issue. The restaurant itself is nice and old school and has a homey feel to it. Between the outdoors and indoors, there is a ton of tables and seating. Highly recommended.

    Gnocchi Bolognese
    Kelly M.

The food here is decent but it's incredibly rich to the point that it made me almost feel sick. We ordered the meatballs, the Rigatoni Al Forno, and the Gnocchi Bolognese. The meat balls by themselves are just okay, the red sauce they're in is very tasty. Again though, they were so rich that I almost felt sick while starting on the 2nd one. The rigatoni was good, but again the cheese on top just sent this dish over the top to the point that it was difficult to eat in how rich it was. Lastly the gnocchi, I thought the sauce was a little sweet for my liking. Service here is good, they're generous with the garlic balls--which again are good but are so rich that they can almost be tough to eat. Your water cup will never be empty. Atmosphere is nice, we are on the patio. I just wish they turned the heaters on sooner as it got cold while we were out there. I personally would not comeback here, but not because the food was bad but just because it was so incredibly rich. I've never left a review like this before as I've never experienced food that was just so rich that it was tough to eat. Typically I feel that way towards chocolate cake or certain cheeses but all three of the items we tried were just too rich

I wasn't sure what to expect, especially since, despite growing up in Los Angeles, I rarely visited Venice or Marina del Rey. I'm glad I made the drive for C&O. The food is exceptional, and the service consistently meets a high standard. I always tell friends and family to arrive right when the restaurant opens the unlimited garlic knots are served warm and fresh, and they're truly outstanding. Each time I've visited, I've ordered the shrimp pappardelle, which is incredible even for someone who typically doesn't enjoy seafood. The restaurant has an authentic feel, with an ambiance that suits different moods (indoors is romantic and intimate, while the outdoor seating offers a lively and enjoyable atmosphere) Both options make for a great dining experience.

Hello, I meant like actually taking pictures at the restaurant and probably ending it with having dinner there?

We would need more information as to exactly what you have in mind and when you want to do this.

Hello , I was wondering my fiancé and I had our first date here about 6 years ago. We were wondering if it would be possible to do a small engagement pictures?

If you meant small engagement dinner, yes. Just contact the restaurant directly or on line.

I was wondering if they sing still and if so what days?

Good news is we are starting to sing That’s Amore again sometime in April or May. Since Covid we only sing happy birthday in Italian to celebrate birthdays.

    Is the Pasta homemade?

Not sure but I like the food.

Are there TVs to watch sports?

Only in the rat pack lounge bar area

    What is parking like?

Valet on premise. There are also some street parkings available.

    Is the restaurant dog-friendly?

Yes in the patio I've seen pups

What's going on with the old location close to the pier? Are their plans to reopen? Sell the space? It's a shame to have no restaurant there for so long!

It’s complicated. Yes, it is a shame. It will reopen eventually.

I made a birthday reservation on yelp but the maximum amount of people it let me put was 6. I have a total of 9 people in my family, is there anyway that I can bring a party larger than 6 people?

I think you have to call them directly to make the reservation if party larger than 6 through Yelp. I've done that with other restaurants.

For a group dinner, are we able to bring a cake from an outside establishment?

Yes. We do charge $.50/ per person fee if you bring your own dessert b

Can any of the pastas be made vegan?

    Are the garlic knots unlimited?

I would say yes! They come around very often with large trays of them hot out of the oven.

Hello, I was wondering if your live singing performances that you would provide back? I think I recall something on your website that it was on hold due to COVID, so I was just wondering. I really enjoy the entertainment along with that food of cours

When we were there on April 30th they were still not doing it. AND the noise was unbearable--we coudnt even talk across a small table. I think if they were singing, at least the restaurant might quiet down for a while to listen. I was meeting my…

Is there a parking lot at this location or just valet?

Just valet you would have to find parking

    What's the corkage policy?

You are more than welcome to bring in wine or champagne, the corkage fee is $15 per bottle (750ml) and $25 per magnum (1.5L).

Did you take the farfalle Genovese off the menu? That was my favorite dish but I haven't seen it on the online menu for some time now.?

Last I was there, last week, it was not on the menu.

Do you still do the singing at this location? And if so, what time/what days?

    No they do not.

Have you opened up for outdoor dining?

Yes, they are open. Had dinner there Saturday night. They start serving at 4:00 on the parking lot patio. Please go and support them.

What is recommended for lactose intolerant person?

Ummm maybe the garlic knot ? Hahaa jk , I'm sure they have more tomato based pasta like putanesca

As of 6/27, are they open for dine in?

Served with vodka sauce, it's delicious when it's hot, never had this dish elsewhere. It comes with two of it. However, it started to get heavy after half piece of it. So consider getting a salad to pair with it. Perfect for 3-4 person to share I'd say, or prepare to have some leftover if it's just two of you. Pepe-roni Pizza (8.5/10): honestly I quite like this, it wasn't a lot of filling so it's not the super heavy kind of pizza. I prefer thin crust pizza over super "bread-y" pizzas, this pizza is airy yet the crust is very crisp and light. Yummy. (^ Would come back to try the Copione pizza TAGLIATELLE (7-8/10): My friend ordered it, I did try so I can't speak much for that looks good to me. This place is slightly over-priced for what it is but the food is for sure delicious, makes sense for the Venice/ Santa Monica area. Ambience is cozy, clean, nothing super aesthetically pleasing. Seems like a great place to have friends gathering dinner, no loud music and can have conversation.

Appetizers: Focaccia (sfincione) - 5/10 (GF rating 4/10) Super greasy, like, very. Make sure to ask for extra olive oil on the side, as that does make it better as they do have delicious olive oil. The bread seems like it's also cooked in olive oil, but frankly if they made their bread and had olive oil on the side it would've been much better. The bread itself though, ugh that whole bottom was wet in oil. Super unfortunate. Solid but oily as heck. Rice Croquettes (suppli in Bianco) - 5/10 (GF rating 2/10) Forgettable. Nothing special, no sauce paired with it. They're mediocre. I wouldn't get this again. Mains: Lamb Ragu (malloreddus) - 9/10 (GF rating 7.5/10) Extremely tasty. Pasta was very well cooked, lamb meat was perfect, as goes for the cheese on top and the sauce. Amazing meal. Would've been far better without having the subpar appetizers beforehand. Cheese and pepper pasta (cacio e Pepe) - 5/10 (GF rating 6.5/10) Non meat pastas aren't my thing, so take my rating with a grain of salt, as I would never get this myself. Jam on top was awfully bitter, quite literally inedible. The crouton like things were whatever. The panna cotta itself, as in only the white part, VERY good. After painstakingly doing our best to scrape off the jam, we were able to get to the base, and that itself tasted great (bar getting even a hint of the syrupy jam flowing into your bite). Normally I'd be a little skeptical, but WOW... I never once found myself wishing there was meat on my plate. I ordered the Spicy Italian pizza, the oyster mushroom "calamari," and a glass of wine, and every single bite was delicious. That pizza though... It was hands-down the star of the meal. Crispy crust, packed with flavor, and honestly one of those pizzas I'd happily drive back to Venice just to eat again. The oyster mushroom "calamari" was also surprisingly convincing. Crispy, flavorful, and a really fun twist on a classic appetizer. And here's the real review: I took the leftover pizza home for my parents, and we all know leftover pizza can be hit or miss. Somehow this one was STILL amazing straight from the fridge. That alone deserves bonus points. If you're shopping on Abbott Kinney and need a break (or if you're just looking for a really great meal), don't let the vegetarian menu fool you. Even this meat lover left completely satisfied. I'll absolutely be back... mostly because I'm already thinking about that pizza.
