After decades of driving past, I finally tried this place with a friend who came in from out of town. Lovely location right on the water with an outdoor patio and plenty of indoor seats with a view. Plenty of secluded booths for romantic dates. Valet was very friendly, as was the hostesses. Our waiter Roberto was excellent. I had high hopes for a meal to match the view and service. We started with a fried calamari appetizer, which was an enormous platter, enough for 4 to share! The calamari was tender, the batter was crisp, but they offered 2 very basic dipping sauces on the side, a bottled cocktail sauce and a mayo based cream sauce. I wanted to try the Louie salad, which had real crab and a few medium sized shrimp on shredded Romaine. The hard boiled egg and boiled asparagus were well presented, but the Louie dressing was very generic and I ended up using lemon, salt and pepper instead of the salad dressing. My friend got the chicken sandwich and enjoyed the bun and brie in the sandwich very much. It was such a generous portion, she took half of it home. I got the chicken piccata which was nicely done with tender chicken, capers, butter, and lemon. Best flavored dish of the evening. Very generous serving, along with steamed broccoli, I had enough leftover for 2 more meals! Decent wines by the glass, and live music at the bar. I would come back for the view, cocktails and an appetizer, and if you want a main, the chicken piccata is a good choice.
My friend and I came here for happy hour on a Friday. It's only in a certain part of the restaurant. The view of the marina is very nice. We shared some fries & got mai tais. The fries were just ok. The drinks were very strong. We ended up getting another drink each. 4 drinks and fries ended up being around $45. If come back again if I were to visit the area.
Went back to The Warehouse for the first time in probably 20 years because we were nearby. The so-so Yelp reviews had me a little hesitant, but honestly, I found the place charming in that old-school Marina del Rey way. It feels like a bit of a time capsule, and sometimes that's exactly what you want. Service was friendly and quick. We had the Sonoma salad with chicken, the filet steak special (without bacon), and soup. Nothing fancy, just solid, well-prepared food at a very reasonable price for the area. Nothing was exceptional, but it was very good, and I'd happily go back. A solid 4/5.
Been here a few times now, the most recent was the last DineLA promotion. Each time, it was I had a good experience. Valet parking. Starting off with parking. It's valet only. I don't remember how much - $6 or $8. Call ahead or know it's not that much. Or park elsewhere and walk. Up to you. For DineLA, reservations were recommended. My friends got in and good thing too - place was packed. Both indoors/outdoors and the bar area. Live music and dancing in the bar area. We had great window seats that could have only been better had we been outside. Service was good for how hectic it was. We were seated sorta in line of sight for staff coming out of their work area. So, it was easy to catch someone's attention. No waiting for our server as the team just helped. Everything from question down to the bill and to go containers. And this was with a few large parties (that we could see). Not to mention, DineLA. Excluding dessert, for $35 - see pics. Food came out nice and hot, and importantly, as requested. I prefer my beef's temperature rare and it came out as such. Again, see pics. Meat was on the chewy side but not tough. Juicy and with the little more seasoning to taste - and I was a happy camper. It's a fun themed place with nice views. Like I mentioned, I've been here a few times and I won't be surprised if I'm here a few more ...
It was a fine experience. There is something about this first time experience that feels like they missed the mark. Service was great. Food was filling. Drinks were amazingly priced. $7 for use of valet service. The wife and I ordered the Tenderloin burgers after seeing our neighbors burgers arrive at their table. When the burgers arrived they only provide you with a side of BBQ sauce. Don't forget to ask for ketchup and any other sauces you want to dip your fries in. I would go back and give it another try.
We decided to try something new for steak and found this lovely restaurant in MDR. I had the 16 inch bone in ribeye and it was just how I like it, topped with delicious butter. it completely met my paleo diet requirements. Service was pleasant and they brought water immediately. Great view of the Marina. The place has a very Yo Ho nautical vibe.
Great food! The chicken penne pasta was delicious and the ambiance on the patio at night is calming. Good service, but they do charge for parking.
We always enjoy the Warehouse. The view of the harbor is vey nice. The patio is also very nice. We opted for inside seating this time as it was raining outside. The inside was decorated very festive for the holiday season. The food is very fresh and my meal was very good. I had a wedge salad with grilled chicken added. It was a large portion. I recommend this restaurant for a special occasion or just a nice meal.
The place is honestly way cooler than the food. It's such a fun space and tons of movies and commercials have been filmed here, so it was neat just soaking in the atmosphere and imagining the scenes shot there. That said, the food wasn't great. I had read other reviews beforehand that mentioned the same thing, so I went in with lower expectations and focused more on enjoying the vibe. I'd recommend doing the same. Definitely go for the atmosphere, not necessarily the meal. On a positive note, the staff was super kind and welcoming, which definitely added to the experience.
LOVED the atmosphere of this restaurant! I had the NY steak, it was delicious and prepared exactly medium rare as I ordered it. Had the rum barrel and it tasted exactly like was supposed to. Three types of rum and a hint of juice. If you are not a rum drinker pass on this beverage.

We had reservations and were seated quickly. The restaurant is located near the Marina and the views were very nice. We came during Dine LA week and had their pre fixe menu. We all had a taste of one another's dishes since there were 6 of us. We tried the NY steak, Grilled Talapia, and Chicken Marsala, all served with mash potatoes. We also had Clam chowder and Caesar salad, plus NY cheesecake and their Brownie ice cream sundae for dessert. We also ordered some Oysters on a half shell, which were fresh and delicious. The choices were all good and a deal for Dine LA week. Overall a good experience.
I recently visited The Warehouse for a holiday board party with a group of 19, and it was a great overall experience. The staff were welcoming, attentive, and did an excellent job managing a larger group, which always makes a big difference. The décor is definitely a bit dated, but honestly, it works--you quickly realize that the charm and character wouldn't be the same if it were anything else. Parking can take a little patience, even with valet, but once you're inside, it's smooth sailing. The food and drinks were absolutely on point--delicious, well-portioned, and consistently satisfying across the table. * Parking: (4/5) * Decor & Atmosphere: (4/5) * Staff: (5/5) * Food & Drinks: (5/5) * Wait Times: (5/5) no waits at all! * Overall Experience: (5/5) I'd definitely recommend coming for the experience, the atmosphere, and especially the fantastic food. First let me start with why this is rated two stars. The quality of the food this evening on April 24th was not very good. The calamari and crab cakes were fried in some burnt old oil, as you could smell the oil when the food was delivered to the table. We tried them both and made it a point to tell the waiter. He removed it off the bill. We would rave about the Ribeye Steak here, but on Friday night all was a disappointment. The pasta wasn't flavorful and the Cesar dressing was a cross between Cesar and Italian dressing not tasty at all. The steaks were not tender and flavorful like they normally have been. All in all it was not a good experience and we brought our son and his girlfriend to dinner thinking it was going to be delicious and we were sadly disappointed. Do better Warehouse please keep quality of the food consistent. Not sure if we will be back.

Absolutely love this place. Great happy hour. Have been here for dinner as well and never had a bad experience. Service is always great. Love coming for their Thursday yacht rock band and sitting by the water for happy hour, what more could you ask for??!! It's one of the few remaining 1960s restaurants with original decor. It's an amazing tiki beach themed restaurant, one of the last in the South Bay! Also love the Shipwrecked event they have twice a year. Love the veggie pasta, fish tacos, burgers, steak, beef tacos, wings. This is one of our five favorite local spots for sure! read more

It's always a treat to spend time in the Marina. It was the DineLA promotion that swayed me to choose this location. It is a two week promotion that offers a Prix Fixe menu. I encourage you to take advantage now through Friday, August 28, 2026. The Warehouse Restaurant has been a staple in this area. The decor has a coastal theme and a casual vibe. We chose the outdoor patio on this sunny afternoon. The First Course was a Caesar Salad or Cup of Clam Chowder. I chose the soup, which was had a hearty cream broth and seafood bits and diced potatoes. A packet of Oyster crackers was included. The Second Course was a choice between Blackened Tilapia, Chicken Marsala, or New York Steak. Each entree included Garlic Mashed Potatoes. I chose the Tilapia, which was grilled and topped with a buttery sauce and capers. My friend chose the baked Chicken Marsala. The portions were good and nicely plated. We had superb service from the Valet, Hostess, and Server. Our food was served rather quickly, drinks were refilled and dishes picked up on a timely basis. Our first visit to LA and the hotel recommended this place for dinner How perfect! We sat in the patio under heaters. We had excellent service and the food was great. Portions were too big and I don't think either of us ate half I ordered the turkey sandwich and sweet potato fries. They were great. My daughter ordered a salad without meat. All was great. They even brought a dessert with a candle for my birthday (daughter couldn't keep it quiet). Was perfect! Highly recommend!! read more
We swung in for an early dinner. The restaurant is huge. We got a table right by the window, the views here are great. The service was fantastic. I ordered the 8oz bacon wrapped filet special. The steak was cooked to a perfect medium-rare (just what I ordered). The port wine reduction sauce was so flavorful! The garlic mashed potatoes were smooth and creamy. Our first visit was so perfect! Lump Crab Cakes were exceptional! The view from the deck was amazing! Service was soooo amazing! Everyone was so nice! The second visit - the restaurant was a bit crowded so service was not as great. But the Crab Cakes still rated EXCEPTIONAL! This time we had Mai Tais! And they were the BEST! We do love this place! It's beautiful and the food is really good! read more
I live locally here in Marina del Rey, so I have been wanting to try The Warehouse for quite some time. It's located right on the water and has really unique indoor seating as well as heated outdoor seating with harbor views, which is where we sat for our dinner. All the heaters made it really warm, even though it was outside, and we had great views of the boats and the water behind the restaurant. One of my favorite things about living in Los Angeles is being able to eat outdoors at 7:30 at night in the middle of December and not be too cold. The only parking option will be valet for $7 and the inside of the restaurant is quite large and is divided into multiple sections. They also have a separate bar area as well. Our server was very polite and everything that we ordered came out pretty fast. It's important to note that they add a 15% service charge on top of your bill, but the servers only see about 1/4 of that. For this first visit, I started with the Fiji Louie Salad which is basically shrimp and crab, hard-boiled egg, beets, and a few other things in salad form, and I really enjoyed it. It was a large sized portion, so it was a great start to the meal. For my entrée, I chose the 16oz Prime Rib and honestly really liked it. It was cooked just as I ordered and I have zero complaints about it. I wish the horseradish sauce would've been a bit spicier but overall it was a really nice meal. I would definitely suggest to anyone searching for a dinner with great views or to any other local in the area. read more

Was very excited to check this place out as I've seen it online via YouTube channels. I sat on the patio and excitedly order the rum barrel. It came in it's cute little mug garnished with a pineapple wedge and maraschino cherry. Iand took my first sip through the straw and all I could taste was rum. I stirred it. Rum and something sour. Maybe a vague hint of grapefruit...but mostly rum, and doesn't seem to be a good rum either. Undrinkable honestly. I had ordered fish and chips and they were good, but that rum barrel, woof! Hard pass. Great location. Great decor and friendly staff. I did get to keep the mug but for $16 (for the mug and drink) I should have just bought it at the host stand and saved some money and my taste buds. Yeesh it was bad. Oh and the hostess couldn't be bothered to really look up from her iPad or phone. I was also dumb enough to valet park as it looked like that was the only option. One of my absolute favorite restaurants! First of all, the view is amazing, and the food is both delicious and a great value. I love that they have daily specials -- if you go on a Monday, you can enjoy a steak for just $28, and wine is half price! It's perfect whether you're going with family or for a date night. read more

Delicious lunch and you cannot beat the view! Do not skip dessert! I will be dreaming of that molten lava cake, for months to come! I did not like that they added a service charge and the restaurant claimed it was the "tip for waiters and busboys!" It was an 65.00 lunch with a 9.00 service charge. Who tips that poorly? I left additional cash because that didn't seem right. read more

This place will always be a go to for the ambiance AND the great food. The service is always good and the happy hour menu is satisfying. The happy hour mai tai is a must try if you are a mai tai fan. Here, you can never fail with the fish and chips. My friend always orders that every time we go. Several other favorites are the stuffed salmon and the grilled prawns. Both are amazing. Valet parking is available in the lot and regular parking is ample. This is a great date or special occasion spot. Also great if you just want to relax look at the water and enjoy great food. read more
The restaurant decor is a lot of fun. It almost feels like I'm entering into the Pirates of the Caribbean ride at Disneyland as I was walking in. I attended with a large party, so I understand that it is sometimes hard to serve a larger party seamlessly. There were a couple of moments where it did feel like the waitress was a bit overwhelmed or shy to ask if anyone needed drink or water refills. The food was good, but there were a few elements that did feel a bit overcooked. I ordered the filet mignon with two prawns. While not as luxurious tasting as filet mignon can be, the steak was good, but the prawns were a bit rubbery/overcooked. I enjoyed the loaded baked potato. The cheese and bacon bits were very satisfying. The calamari from the appetizers were more on the rubbery side as well, but still fun. The drinks were good and strong. They come with cute little monkey or mermaid adornments. We had fun collecting them all. The tiramisu was good, but it was a bit more sweet than I prefer. It's been quite some time since I've been last here. There was a group of us just popping in for drink which lead to drinks and a meal. I do remember there's valet and maybe self parking. Which we did and after we left, the valet came over to ask us to pay for self parking. Didn't think it was a big deal to self park but oh well. Guess you still have to pay. Anyway, the restaurant itself is quite cool. The rustic bayou New Orleans vibe from the outside. Inside is quite rustic as well but when you're on the patio, that's beautiful. It looks out to the water and the marina. Great for watching the boats come in and out as well as people kayaking. And can't forget the sunset, it's prime spot for it as it's going down being the boats. That's patio seating. Inside there's the bar area to one side and dining to other. Bar area is pretty big with a second floor. I think it's utilize for both bar and restaurant side. Our waitress was quite great. Didn't get her name but she was the sweetest. I feel we were all over the place as there were a good amount of us trying to all order at the same time. Some not ready while others were. She managed to hold the fort down and very professional about it...lol.... There was a round of cocktails and then another. Just mentioned, we thought we were only here for drink but that lead to food as well. The Lamar pasta which sounded good but something about the orange glaze for a pasta was a little off. But everything did work well together with the seafood, veggies and linguine. A few orders of the fish and chips were ordered. All with different versions of fries, steak, thin and sweet potatoes. The fish was battered quite nice and was flaky. Also, the chicken picatta, tasty and very good. Perfect with mashed potatoes and the sauce paired well with the chicken. The French dip, simple but good. Decent amount of sliced beef, cheese and bun. Simple but classic. Also had another order of the pasta with scallops and shrimp, basically seafood. That was quite tasty as well. Big shrimp with big potions of scallops and tossed with linguine and mushrooms. Another great dish. After that, another round of cocktails was ordered. We were out and about for someone's birthday which they asked if we were celebrating something. From there, a dessert came out with a candle for the birthday girl. A sweet little surprise to finish off a fun day. Service was good. Didn't take long for us to get seated as they had to get the table ready. Our waitress was the sweetest. A few colleagues and I came by for dinner after seeing them on a Yelp search of the area. We were lured in mostly by the look of the restaurant and the promise of a decent view. Boy, were we pleasantly impressed with the overall experience. Half our group had gone to a local brewery and about half a dozen of us came here. We shared pics of our spot and they all immediately regretted not coming with us. In any case, the service, view, and decor were all top notch. The real joy was the food and drinks. The steak was cooked perfectly to my liking the the prawns (more like mini-lobster!) were perfect. The drinks were really good and, since I wasn't driving, I had...a few. They were all delicious but the MaiTai was the best. So many places half-ass MaiTai's but not here. They were perfectly balanced and the truest MaiTai I've ever had, outside a full service Tiki bar. read more
Came here for the Shipwrecked event and was not impressed. The event claimed that it was 2 floors of vendors but they were all just squished together on the 2nd floor. It made it difficult to walk round especially as more people arrived. After doing a once around we decided to grab a drink. The bar on the 2nd floor was closed so we went to the downstairs bar which was about 25 people deep, had only 1 bartender who was also making drinks for the diners. Who schedules 1 bartender and only has 1 bar open during an event? Then there was really no where you could settle up at with your drink so you just had to stand and try not to get knocked into. Giving 2 stars because the drink was decent but would definitely not go back. read more
In my mind, The Warehouse Restaurant is like a Disneyland attraction in the middle of Marina Del Rey. It's fun and relaxing with excellent service and great food & beautiful views! It's become a nice brunch spot my friend and I like going to after chilling at the nearby beach. It's a bit overpriced but you're paying more theme park-ish prices for a more theme park-ish experience, $17 for a Bistro Chicken sandwich really isn't that bad when it's tasty. The chicken was plump & moist in the sandwich and loved the basil mayo! I could have used a bit more brie cheese though and there were like 3 pieces of one grape cut up...maybe a bit more of the grapes for a nice, fruity balance to the sandwich. All served on a croissant. Liked it a lot but could use a bit plumping up of the non-protein ingredients. My favorite part of The Warehouse Restaurant is the over top-ness of it all with so much to look at. Tables along the water let you watch as waves wash against sailboats on an ocean gleaming in the sunlight. More specifically, views overlooking Basin F of Marina del Rey if you want to be technical. Inside looks like a tiki bar took over by Pirates and outside is equally as nautical. They have turtles sunbathing and water body full of the biggest and most active koi fish of all time. Those things looked like monsters bashing against the rocks. I enjoyed watching them also worrying if the water level was too low. I went during Restaurant Week. The prefix menu was really good. They had clam chowder and Caesar salad for an appetizer. The steak and the tilapia was delicious paired with Malbec red wine. Server Eddie was great! read more

A fun looking place from the outside. Pull in and you have to pay for Valet parking--in a small lot, where you can easily park yourself. The menu was good but the food was somewhat disappointing. The Caesar Salad almost had a honey mustard type dressing. The crab cakes were mostly breading that barely tasted of crab. The oysters were fresh but the shells were poorly cleaned. I expected more from the place for the price and the hype. They automatically add a 15% "service fee" to the check. A lady walks around and takes complimentary pictures then tries to up-sale you for more pictures . Generally a bizarre experience. read more
