Really yummy I love how they have customizable pasta. You'll definitely find something you'll like here. The pasta is bomb and honestly really filling and rich. The atmosphere is really nice too I love the art of Santa Monica on the wall! Everyone seems to be having a great time and waiters/waitresses are helpful as well! Our food came pretty quick too and we didn't have any problems.

New location. Same great service and pasta! The food was still plentiful and delicious. The service was friendly and attentive. We made a reservation for a larger party for a bday celebration and everything was great. Everyone enjoyed the food! A continued reliable classic for the friend group!

The food here is very good. They stay off with ice waters and warm bread / butter! Service was just okay this time, the server made a snide remark about being fired for letting my sister order a kids meal... but we did order an app and an adult meal too. Cute Italian style restaurant inside. No parking lot

Flourless chocolate cake (gluten-free)

Nice, low-key casual restaurant that we came on a weeknight for dinner after a long day. We didn't drive here but it seemed like there was a decent bit of street parking around. It almost had the vibes of an Italian American diner. I have celiac (strictly gluten-free) and am vegetarian. The server was extremely friendly, helpful and was also able to reasurre me about cross-contamination protocols available in the kitchen. I ordered a custom pasta with gluten-free penne with basil pesto sauce and mixed vegetables add-in. It was great, actually! The sauce felt fresh, pasta itself tasted good, vegetables were a nice mix-in, and the portions were generous. We had the flourless chocolate cake for dessert, and it was delicious!! I thought I was too full, but we devoured the cake - it was moist and decadent. Overall, great experience here and would return!

I've been at Fritto Misto on Friday for lunch. There was only another customer there. The restaurant was clean. Servers were very polite. The foods, however, tasted good but were not fresh cooked for sure.

Artichoke Shrimp Gnocchi

Service, ambience, food - ALL AMAZING!! We looked over the menu ahead of time and knew what we wanted - a glass of cab each, caprese, artichoke shrimp gnocchi, and pumpkin ravioli. A basket of bread was placed on our table while we were waiting for our food and was great with the creamy pasta sauces. The shrimp gnocchi had a very lemony zest flavor that tastes so great with the shrimp. The pumpkin ravioli is sweet and creamy, deliciously paired with spinach in the pasta. Parking is super easy, there's meters everywhere. It wasn't too busy on a weekday evening. I'd recommend looking at the menu ahead of time here, there's a lot of items and I definitely felt overwhelmed. I was glad we picked out our meals ahead of time!

Garlic shrimp pasta

I love their style of serving pasta, I ordered Garlic Shrimp with black and white pasta, it was amazing, texture of pasta done right by my preference and the shrimp was cooked accurately and the sauce was simply delightful and not drowning the dish. I ordered twice on the calamari! The owner is very welcoming and charming, I still have some left over for later. My mint mojito mocktail was divine.

I could've sworn I'd already reviewed this place years ago, but apparently not, so I'm happy to do it now. There's honestly not much to say, though-- the food is consistently excellent, the service is solid, and the layout is lovely. I do wish there were more in the way of outdoor seating, as the patio is fully enclosed-- I know this has a more intimate feel that some people prefer, but for both noise and airflow (I am still trying to keep as covid safe as possible) I always prefer actually outdoor seats. My party and I all thoroughly enjoyed our meals (and I am happy to report that there were plenty of delightful vegetarian options on the menu). I also enjoyed the drinks, having ordered a Zombie myself.

Atmosphere was great, staff super friendly and attentive, accommodated our 10 person group without a problem - we did have a reservation though. Food was amazing!! I ordered the Vegetable Lasagna, and every one at the table ordered something different, and no person was disappointed! Staff even treated our mom's at the table to a shared dessert - delicious!

Cajun Seared Chicken
Marie B.

Got the Cajun seared chicken which was garlicky and creamy. Not super spicy but well balanced and the chicken was delicious. Great service, I got the appletini and the bartender / waitress came out to ask me if it was ok since they started using new lemon juice which was very thoughtful. Felt well taken care of here!

Jumbo Ravioli
Melinda L.

The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The pasta portion was generous with bits of bacon and tomatoes. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. The lemon bar was a standout! Topped with fresh whipped cream and the perfect mix of crunch, chewiness, and softness. Will definitely be back!"

Pillows (Ricotta and Basil)
Sara T.

Delicious Italian served FAST. We got our food and drinks in nearly 15 minutes. Baby friendly place- outdoor covered area. I got the "pillows" and Alfredo sauce. You can do a create your own which is perfect because I was able to add veggies and nuts to mine. I got these because they had horrible reviews but looked amazing! Super tasty My husband got the steak with pesto and really enjoyed it Baby menu is reasonably priced and the Alfredo sauce was delicious!

Rachel S.

I've been to another location before and remember the food being yummy! We were at a baby shower nearby so we came here for an early dinner. Overall the food was tasty and the service was friendly. The calamari was yummy but didn't love the pasta I got.

They have metal tables and chairs with loud speakers blasting music that echoes throughout the space. Add in loud crowds and kids dropping utensils, and it makes the whole environment pretty unpleasant. As for the food, we ordered the garlic knots, a croissant, the hanger steak, the peach and hot honey pizza, and the wood-fired vanilla bean pound cake for dessert. We covered a good amount of their key items. The main takeaway is that while everything is cooked well, but the dishes really lack flavor. I dine out to get flavors that are not easily made at home, and unfortunately, I did not find them here. The food lacks depth, and frankly, it needs salt to make it stand out. The pizza dough is actually really well prepped, easily as good as Pizzeria Sei, which is the best pizza place in LA, period. But again, it just lacks flavor. Also, as a small side note, there is a 4% employee health insurance surcharge added to the final bill. I probably just missed it listed on the menu somewhere, but oh well. Overall, it is a decent place, but I would not go out of my way to come back here.

Less is more. But let's talk art (culinary, that is). The dishes certainly deserve main features. To start "the best Caesar salad in LA" and I quote which was certainly true. Grilled octopus charred on the inside and juicy at the center. Spicy pomodoro is perfectly al dente and a well-balanced sauce. But, my favorite-- the agnolotti! Wow, melt in your mouth! The flavor profiles of corn, crème fraiche, and old bay were delicious. My only wish -- larger serving of this (smallest pasta serving on the menu). To complete it, banana pudding tiramisu -- delicious too with a firm center and oozy outside. Atala was wonderful and very sweet. Recommendation: come with a group of at least 4 to try more on the menu -- the large plates (branzino and ribeye) looked excellent! Definitely a worthwhile visit.

Of the things we ordered, I really loved the farro salad ($22?) best. Refreshing pomegranate seeds are mixed with the farro and give the salad an added crunch. The little pockets of agnolotti is stuffed with corn and swims in a savory broth anchored by crème fraiche. It's giving summer and I'm absolutely here for it. Cento's dining space is quaint, so make sure to make a resy.

Served with vodka sauce, it's delicious when it's hot, never had this dish elsewhere. It comes with two of it. However, it started to get heavy after half piece of it. So consider getting a salad to pair with it. Perfect for 3-4 person to share I'd say, or prepare to have some leftover if it's just two of you. Pepe-roni Pizza (8.5/10): honestly I quite like this, it wasn't a lot of filling so it's not the super heavy kind of pizza. I prefer thin crust pizza over super "bread-y" pizzas, this pizza is airy yet the crust is very crisp and light. Yummy. We had a server come and they apologized, took our order and relayed that our server is on his break. We realized happy hour was ending and ordered more when the drinks were dropped off. To get extra condiments, I needed to flag someone after trying to get their attention. Although the food came quickly, no one checked on us the entire visit. We asked the gentleman clearing our plates to bring us the check and we paid on our phone and left. Hearing the server at the table next to us, they asked about allergies, were checking in on how things are going every step of the way, offering dessert and providing way more than the very basic service that we needed to request. I'm honestly shocked that we had this very poor service experience. As for food and drink, the Aperol spritz and cocktail flight was solid. Fries were really great. The vodka rigatoni had a nice kick to it and caesar salad and meatballs were really tasty. As you can see, food was great, and I highly recommend their happy hour.
