We celebrated my wife's birthday, amazing service and attitude from everyone, great cocktails, food was delicious, overall we had a great time at this casual restaurant. I will go back,

I went to Casa 12, an Italian spot just steps from the beach, last summer--sorry for the late review, I post when I remember. The night I went, it was packed, which I usually avoid, but I'm so glad I gave it a chance. I had one of the most memorable dishes I've had in a long time: portobello mushrooms with shaved parmesan. Months later, I still think about that dish--it was easily one of the best things I ate in 2025. We also had a couple of pastas and drinks; everything was good, though my pasta (with sausage) wasn't my favorite. Total was around $140, so not cheap, but not unreasonable for the area. Honestly, I would go back just for those mushrooms. Highly recommend.

Came for mother's day and the restaurant was a great choice for it. Location-wise, it's right next to Venice beach so we parked at the beach lot for $9 all day. We sat inside and it had a nice ocean breeze and nicely decorated. We ordered their grilled skewers for appetizer, then penne a pomodoro, seafood risotto, lobster ravioli, and 2 pastas of the day which were papardelle with short rib and squid ink with scallops. They also provided complimentary bread with olive oil and vinaigrette. Service was friendly and attentive. Recommend coming for date night or special occasions. Total was around $260 for everything we ordered (plus 20% servixe charge for a party of 6).

I went to Casa 12 for a romantic date and was not disappointed! The food was absolutely delicious, great atmosphere, but I especially want to mention our server Paolino, who went above and beyond to make our dinner very special and memorable. He truly turned our date into a movie scene, and I'm extremely grateful for his kindness!

From 0 to 10, the food is a solid 1,000. I've been here 4 or 5 times already, and every single dish I've tried has been an amazing experience. The best part? It's actually affordable too -- even the most expensive plates are around $50.

Cozy little restaurant right in front of the Venice pier, not much room and it's quite noisy inside where you can really have a conversation without yelling which is annoying. Service was prompt and our hostess came to check on us frequently and explained the specials to us. We ordered the grilled octopus and a ragu pasta of some kind and the social of the day which was pappardelle with short rib. I'd say the octopus was cooked really well, I've never experienced that kind of texture (no rubbery feeling) with octopus. The pasta was solid and the sauces were rich but not overwhelming, however the serving sizes for everything was pretty tiny and I felt disappointed compared to the size of the bill.

First timer at this place this past Monday March 30th with my super fly all over most fav :) BFF Babe/Baby/Majestic Heavenly Soulmate :)))))))) All the real flowers and plants here are a huge delight! Great pasta especially their sauce. We had the strawberry mocktail with 2 shrimp skewers appetizers and a pasta with shrimps to share. All scrumptious. Then a red wine tasted real good and I normally don't drink alcohol ha I had my golden hair up in a ponytail and when I put it down, the owner Manuel came over to chat with us. I knew he was going to do that. Lmao He looks similar to Johnny Depp ha. Manuel is real nice and we can tell he's passionate about his italian restaurant here. Building has been around since 1976 whoa but he's owned it for a cool decade by far. It's good to have a nice owner as him to this place that welcomes everyone to dine here etc like how I am with all my own amazingly lovable restaurants. Great ambience here while food and service is good too. Highly recommend.

    Veal Ossobuco Ravioli!

Came here with friends on a whim one evening after a day of reveling. Casa 12 is a cozy restaurant with a small outdoor patio. We were seated outside as the weather was perfect for al fresco dining. ;-) The service was very fast and friendly. We all ordered our own meals (usually we tend to share), and I ordered the Veal Ossobuco Ravioli. WOW! I absolutely love Ossobuco, and I absolutely love ravioli, so this was a match made in Heaven! The menu looks fantastic, and I plan on eventually eating my way through the whole thing! Can't wait to get back here again.

Such a cute local spot! Can't believe it took us so long to find this spot. Great ambience inside and out. The food.... Omg. Every single thing we had was delicious. Definitely pay attention to the daily specials bc they really are special. We'll be back soon for sure

Fettuccine Verdi alla Bolognese (white plate), Fusilli al Fungh (black plat). Both are delicious!

I'm gonna put it plain and simple; come here if you would like to eat great authentic Italian food. We were served by Paulino who is a master and knowing his menu and the food that comes out of the kitchen. The atmosphere was light and airy and you don't have to dress all the way up either. It's small and quaint and intimate and the candles on the table are real. Take a look at the pictures that we've added so that you can see what we ate and I'm gonna tell you both plates were delicious. Thank you Paulino for excellent service we will come back and see you soon. FYI, here is what we ate: Fusilli al Funghi (black plate) Wild mushroom, Creamy Parmigiano Reggiano with a side of chicken Fettuccine Verdi alla Bolognese (white plate) Spinoch fetticcine tossed in a traditional italian veal and beef ragù

It's about time I posted a review for Casa 12. It's walking distance from our condo in Marina del Rey. We've enjoyed several dinners here over the last two years. The food is very good, as is the service. This is a delightful beachside restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating.

Carbonara pasta & chicken with lemon caper sauce

It is located just steps from the beach with ample parking. Outside they had live music. Finally got to check this place out and I'm so glad I did! This is the best food I've had in a long time. I got the carbonara and the chicken with lemon caper sauce. Everything tasted so fresh. The staff was great with helping us pick suggestions. Overall a place you must check out!

This place was so gorgeous. Right along the beach and next to the pier, we went to another place and grab drinks before hand right next door and after dinner we got sunset at the beach. We sat outdoors and it had a full window opening inside so very warm vibes. Got a 10/10 dirty martini here with some truffle fries and for everyone's entree it was amazing. My sister got a Caesar salad and it came out with a fly in it unfortunately... they were nice about it and remade one for her. Appetizers were also so worth it!

    Spiedini. Shrimp skewers.

Overpriced mediocre food everything was served so hot, the only way to accomplish this temperature is by microwaving it. Would not return.

Their outdoor patio is where it's at though. It is surrounded with these gorgeous olive trees. Every single bite we had there was so good and fresh and light. My favorite bites have to be the Greek salad, those heirloom tomatoes are so juicy and sweet. And I loved the branzino. It is so tender and has these flavorful garlic chips all on top. The seabass crudo is also so bright and a little spicy. We also tried the flatbread, which is nice and fluffy, and paired well with the hummus, although the hummus was pretty standard. The chicken skewers are also really, really tender, but nothing too special about that either. Service is really quick, food comes out quickly as well, everyone that works here is so nice and on top of it. It is such a perfect spot for a nice brunch!

It's a tapas style place so you have to get multiple items, each item had a decent price. However the food was pretty bland overall, the "smoked tomato salad" was just tomatoes and olive oil, no smoked or sweet onion on it, same with the side of the potatoes, they were just potatoes. The best tasting item were the meatballs if you're ok with the gamey taste of lamb. Overall if you're going for the space then this place is great but i was extremely underwhelmed with the food itself.

I wasn't sure I would like it or not, but I can tell you I ended up eating it all. It was awesome, every single dish! I'm going here again...even without her haha! We started with the focaccia which was delicious, although it tastes different than what gluten made focaccia tastes like. It was very light and crisp, not as rustic as regular gluten made, and even more enjoyable with the spiced olive oil that accompanied it. As an appetizer we tried the fried stuffed squash blossom with minted ricotta. OMG!! That was SO incredibly tasty! We definitely want that again... and we will later Today! I had the pasta Bolognese and my friend had the fish and chips which we shared and we both loved each of them. The fish was so crispy and delicious and it came with gluten-free fries which were also awesome. He is a legitimate wine connoisseur. I asked a couple of ridiculous questions, yet he answered them so politely with his highly knowledgable answer. He was such a wonderful SOMM as well as a very friendly and personable server... with a wonderful sense of humor. So. I want people who are not gluten-free to know it's good to try to try this place.
