What a pleasant surprise! This place serves fantastic food right by the ocean. The service was incredibly fast - I got my truffle pasta literally about five minutes after ordering. The prices were reasonable, the atmosphere was great, and the food exceeded my expectations. I ordered the Truffle Pasta and it was absolutely delicious. One thing I really appreciated was the attention to presentation. Compared to the places next door, my meal came out quickly on a beautiful plate at a nice wooden table, while people at a neighboring restaurant were still waiting 15+ minutes for burgers, had to pick up their own food, and everything was served in disposable containers. It really feels like Fabios Pasta puts extra effort into quality and the overall dining experience. Highly recommend this place! read more

Fresh pasta right next to the beach, what else would you need? Came to celebrate my friend's bday w a nice chill day at the beach and Fabio's was a great spot to eat at. The prices are fair and while the portions might look small on a plate it was actually the perfect size for us. Both our bolognese and Alfredo pasta were great and we really appreciated the heaters as it definitely got chilly. Cant wait to return to Venice Beach again! read more

Despite him being the only one working, our food was out very quick. The pasta itself was perfectly cooked with a nice texture. Both sauces were also very fresh, flavorful, and creamy. Solid portion sizes too. You order at the counter and sit outside. Either they call your name or bring it out to you. It can get a little cold at night, but there are heat lamps thoughtfully placed out by the tables. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options as well. Horrible service! I was thrilled to try this place with my girlfriend. When we arrived, we went to the window to place our order. The owner informed us that he needed 5-10 minutes to take orders due to being backed up. This was completely understandable, and we didn't mind. However, not even a minute later, someone walked up and placed an order right in front of us. When I mentioned this to the owner, he was incredibly rude and claimed that they had been waiting to place an order. This was a lie, as we had seen them walk up and place their order. Even if that were the case, it would have been respectful to let us know, considering we were standing right there and just was told he needed 5-10 minutes Instead of being understanding of our confusion, the owner was extremely nasty and rolled his eyes. He then asked what my problem was. It was disgusting! I guess the color of my skin made him think he could treat me any way he pleased. If I could spit on this owner I would. read more

Such a cute unassuming place in a side street off the Venice boardwalk. Just far enough to escape the noise. Cute walk up counter order, with quick service, and outdoor patio seating with heat lamps at night. The food was so fresh, the spaghetti feeling a little extra a la dente. The portions are very generous. We shared a cacio e pepe spaghetti and black truffle papparadelle pasta with added mushrooms. We went for a friends birthday dinner and I'm so glad I joined. I never knew this little gem existed. You almost don't know this place is there as it's literally a door in the wall with a Window. We ordered a plethora of items and everything was delicious. I especially liked the ravioli that was textured perfectly. The pesto was also really good as well as the spicy rigatoni. We completed the evening with a homemade tiramisu and it was everything I hoped it would be. Fabio was as fabulous as his food! Located on a small food alley on Venice Beach, Fabio's lives up to it's high rating. They serve delicious pasta, in a fabulous location with friendly service. It was a little before lunch rush when we got here so the only wait was for the food prep. It's a small counter at a dutch door where you order, like all the restaurants along this alley. My fam was able to spread out and get their own thing so in that way the location is great as well. My daughter ate here and I mopped up the left overs. The staff brought the food to our table and offered to geind pepper and parm on o the food. An unexpectedly nice gesture. This place is the real deal. Fabio, the owner, is truly Italian -- from Northern Italy -- and you can taste that authenticity in every bite. It's very much a hole-in-the-wall setup: you order at the counter, pay, and then Fabio personally brings your food to one of the small tables set up outside. The whole experience is minimal, efficient, and completely focused on quality. As an Italian born and raised in Italy, I find it very hard to eat pasta outside of Italy without being disappointed -- but this place is a true testament to how it should be done. The pasta is fresh, and the ingredients are divine. We tried the fettuccine with truffle and mushrooms and the rigatoni with basil and shrimp. We pretty much licked the plates clean. The outdoor seating is simple and cute, tucked into a little alley just a few steps from Venice Beach. It can get a bit breezy with the ocean air -- we visited in February -- but they have several outdoor heat lamps placed around the tables. I'd still recommend bringing an extra layer just in case. Being Venice Beach, you'll likely see some quirky characters strolling by, but that's part of the atmosphere. Parking-wise, there are paid lots nearby, but they can be expensive. I'd suggest parking a few streets away in the residential area where you can usually find free street parking. read more

Eating my pasta on a colder night for dinner at one of the tables outside with people bustling around provided a unique and great atmosphere. Now food is totally fine nothing too complex. Surprisingly fantastic bpunce on the pappardelle and meaty sauce but my gosh that cheese on top was cold and not melted in any way so kind of a let down. After discovering this gem on Instagram I am happy to confirm that it is everything you want from a pasta restaurant. We ordered 3 dishes and each one had its unique flavour. Too delicious! The weather was blustery so we were forced to drive 25 minutes back home. Yet the food still tasted great, the pasta properly al dente. Absolutely delicious. I cannot recommend this spot enough. The pasta was absolutely incredible. Such a great price too for the massive portion they give. I got the fettuccini with marinara and burrata, such a classic and delicious pairing. The pasta is very obviously made in house from scratch, because it is so much better than other local pasta spots. My friend got the fettuccini with Alfredo sauce and loved it too! The tables outside in the sun are such a great addition, and the beautiful bowls they serve the pasta in really adds to the comfort of the whole experience. Today the weather was absolutely perfect. You will see from the pictures that Fabio is a small kitchen,. The outside seating is comfortable and fits the atmosphere of beach life. The menu, has extensive choices and combinations that one can do. I went with potato and gnocchi and a mushroom sauce. It was absolutely perfect. The gnocchi were tender but from enough not to be mushy. The sauce was exquisite. I had a Pellegrino, but they do have alcohol choices available. There was lovely live guitar music outside in the middle of the afternoon. This is a tremendous experience. I love places like this. Small but very high-quality and very intimate feeling.
