We needed to replace our over 40 year old old stove... , but we didn't want to shell out for a brand new one. I'd read about them on another website and we decided to stop by and check them out. We met with one of the guys there. He told us about 2 stoves he had in their warehouse which would match our newer stainless and black appliances. We decided to measure our old one first and come back. We came back the next week and went to look at what they had in their nearby warehouse. We selected one of them. We went back to the main office, they prepared the paperwork and we paid. The cost was quite reasonable. On the day they were to deliver our stove -- in the morning -- it became a mess of problems. They couldn't come when we needed them to be there, etc etc. They finally showed up in the afternoon. Removed our old stove and delivers a new one. As they were leaving, I realized it was not the brand stove I'd selected. After much calling -- on my part -- crying and begging, they finally delivered the correct stove the next day late morning. I went on Saturday to find a dryer and was very satisfied with the staff. I found a dryer that i liked but it did not have the cord that i needed and they said no problem he could switch it out for the correct one for no additional cost. They also delivered my dryer and attached the hose i purchased seperately at no additional cost. I would highly recommend this establishment and i plan to go back to them for any other appliance needs. Great company!!! read more

They will show up, stare at your appliance, charge $40 and leave. They have to "order parts" and will call you back in a few days. No follow up. This morning my tenant's refrigerator stopped working - He's a diabetic and needs to keep his meds in there! Try getting a new fridge same day.... Impossible. Brandsmart, Home Depot, Best Buy - nope - so I called C and S. The nicest young lady tells me to come in - they have plenty of pre used appliances in the size I need. Boom - two hours later the new fridge is installed and the old one is hauled away. This was an amazingly simple transaction. Very friendly family oriented mom and pop shop- I paid less than $850 for a three door stainless steel almost new fridge. That included delivery, install, and haul away. I asked if it breaks can I call them to fix - he said that's his profession! So now I have a friend in the business who I can call when things break. So my front loading washer is broken and asked around and someone told me about this company. Seemed like an easy fix as I did my own research on the problem so I didn't want to deal with the hassle of buying a new one. Called them and it was an extreme pain to even get them to come out and look at the problem. A guy came weeks after first contacting them. Walked into my home and out within 4 minutes. I thought he was getting a tool or something from the car but he never came back until about an hour later saying "you forget to pay me" yes they take $45 for the initial consultation. Sir how could I pay you if you just walked out. I then asked him what the problem was and if he was gonna be able to fix it before I paid him he said the office would get into contact with me. Weeks pass and I hadn't heard from them so decided to follow up. She said they were waiting on a part and finally called q few days ago saying they have the part and could come the following day. I said yes please come I'll be gone all day and available. She said after 12pm someone will come. The following day comes and at 12:01 I received a call and missed it so she left a voicemail saying call us regarding your appointment. Nothing else. I called back MINUTES later and she said he was outside but because I didn't answer he left. I had been home the whole time no one knocked on the door. And when the guy first came for the initial visit he called me when he was 20 minutes out and 5 minutes out and also when he arrived asking where to park. So it just did not make sense. I shared this with her and told her if she could ask him to come back since he just apparently left. She said she would give me a call back and it's been a week and I have not heard back. Very poorly run company and I'm upset they stole $45 from me and more importantly my time. During all of this back and fourth I could've found a more reliable company or found another solution. Don't waist your time neither your MONEY; i bought a fridge there to put in my garage, they said it was free of defects with 6 months warranty, the fridge came with a leaking problem... i asked them to fix and they sent a technician twice and the only thing he did was put hot water into the fridge, problem not fixed... i was as nice and patience; the owner told me: ok, lets swap fridges if this problem persist, he never swapped.... i kept asking to get this issue fixed and after been pushing for a while, the owner of this place came to my house (i was not at home, just my wife) so, he left the fridge 2" out of level and he took off. when i got home i called him and he said leave that way you won't have the problem anymore. Inside was a mess, he not even put thing together. i sent them a video showing the mess the leaking is causing inside, they watched and never said a word. I had a great experience. My fridge malfunctioned right before thanksgiving. They understood my urgency and sent a professional right away. I needed a part replaced and they were able to order it and install in time without anything in my fridge spoiling. I used them also a second time to replace my stove. It is a small mom and pop business but they were very attentive! I do recommend. read more

This company called me in the morning and let me know they had a spot open to come fix my fridge the same day between 1 and 3pm. I mention to the person on the phone if it was closer to 3pm it would be better.She said she didn't know but she would have the technician call first and if I weren't home we would reschedule. I came home earlier from work and I gave them a call to get an ETA and the woman told me he wasn't coming(what????). He NEVER CALLED ME! She told my husband on the phone the technician was early and she told him not to come because I wasn't going to be home( what???? again!!!) They called me Monday to delivery my dryer it's now Thursday and they still have not come. This place has no sense of urgency or customer service skills. I would not recommend buying anything there. Everytime I call the lady says I do not know what happened let me call the driver and she never calls me back. As I wrote this I am on hold with them this place is a joke. I am writing this review for my elderly parents. They contacted C&S because their dishwasher "wasn't cleaning good enough". The technician came for $45 to diagnose the issue which he said was a heat sensor.. He came back a few days later with part and that was not the problem.. Then he couldn't even put the dishwasher back together so he left the door off. This is obviously worth a bad review since it was a misdiagnoses as well as a tech that didn't know how to put something back together. A complete waste of time that costed my parents $45. This place is a rip off. My refrigerator died so I went there looking for a compressor relay. Their parts supply was maybe 20 items. They didn't have my part, but did have a universal relay that would get me by till my relay came from Amazon. This universal relay is about a $10 part anywhere you look. I asked the owner why wasn't it left and why when I asked the tech, while he was standing in the unit, to show me the part he replaced, he refused. Why wasn't it done The owner had the nerve to accused me of not wanting to pay. Really!!!! At a point he said maybe the tech was mad, my question is why? his tech is a thief and a lair. The owner was more concerned about his money that ensuring his customer was satisficed. I forgot to mentioned on the returned visit a week later the refrigerator was working ok. Awful experience. Technician came to my house (40 min late in a 2 hour window) for a dryer repair. He looked at it and immediately said that because it was a stackable he needs to come back with another person to help him pull it out. This non diagnosis was still a service call, I paid by check. He said that the office would call me Monday with replacement options. I did not receive a call until Wednesday at which time the office told me that the problem was the circuit board and I needed a new dryer. I said that was interesting because he was completely unable to even take 1 screw out of the dryer let alone diagnose the problem. She then told me a replacement used dryer would be $350. I asked what kind of dryer that was, she had no idea and said it would be whatever they have in the warehouse ... not comforting. Then she asked me for payment of the service call. I explained that I paid by check to C&S appliance and the check had been deposited and stamped by c&s. She could not find it but said she would look into it, this place has no clue what they are doing. I asked again about the dryer models and names so that I could look into them, she said she would get that information and call me back later that day... that was 3 days ago. I have been using this company for about 2 1/2 years and never had a problem with them. As a matter of fact, I just had them service my washer last month. I have never written a poor review of a company before. But today, I called a little after 9 am to request a technician to come out to look at my stackable washer/dryer. The girl that answered (I think she said her name was something like Mya) was rude and reluctantly took down my information. I requested that on this occasion, I needed the earliest possible appt because I saw some sparks coming out of the back of my unit and I was worried that it was a fire hazard. I felt like it was urgent because the unit is to big for me to pull out myself to unplug it. I was off today, had to work tomorrow and off the next day. I have never had to wait to schedule before, but she just kept saying that someone would call me back to schedule. I didn't hear back from them, so at 2:00 I called again and I was told rudely that they don't work on the schedule until the afternoon and she already told me that she would call me back when she was working on the schedule. Let me say again that I have never had a problem getting a tech out to my house from this company. But today, I felt like they really didn't want my business. At 5:30, I finally gave up and called someone else. She did call me back at 6:15 to schedule and I told her that it shouldn't take an entire (wasted) day and 3 phone calls to schedule an appointment. I told her I had to call someone else (who was happy to have my business) and that she just lost a loyal customer. I am an extremely sweet, kind and low maintenance person. But the first point of contact at any business should not hate to do their job and be rude to the customers. I hope the owners see this review so they can fix the problem. This was just unacceptable. I paid $45 to have them come out to fix my washing machine and they told me nothing was wrong with it. Sure enough, I go to use the machine and it doesn't work. I then call them back to say it's not working they they want to give me an appointment a few days later to look at again (who has time for this?!?!) and I've been without a machine for almost a week. They pitched me to buy a refurbished machine that they had at their business. It was the same model and so I agreed to pay another $180 for it. This machine has never worked should not have been re-sold to anyone. I told the installer that the machine didn't seem right when he was installing it, but again he assured me that it worked fine. I just called the office today to get an appointment and I suggested that since I haven't even had the machine two months that they just come and pick it up and give me a partial refund. Of course that's not their policy, they want to come fix it. Do NOT use this company for repairs and definitely buy anything used from them. Terrible company. read more
