Very friendly staff, great food, good prices. We came here before going to Apple Hill and had a really nice breakfast. The outdoor seating was well shaded, but not fancy. All in all, it was a solid choice to start our morning.

Your basic breakfast and lunch diner. This is a nice stop when you're on a long drive as it's adjacent to Highway 50 or convenient for locals as well. A very casual atmosphere we were pleasantly greeted and grabbed a seat. Our server efficiently, operated as hostess, waitress, server, bus person, and cashier for the entire restaurant. The restaurant is very clean and food was good. Efficient service even though we came in at the same time with three or four other parties. The menu is somewhat limited, but you'll get a quality meal regardless of what you do order. We would recommend the Charlie's Chips, their home made potato chips, that are an option with many of the lunch sandwiches.

I still have no idea what C & T stands for, but what I do know if a good deal when I see it. While on a early morning road trip to Tahoe with some friends we decided to stop at C & T a couple minutes after they just opened for breakfast. The staff seemed sleepy, but still greeted us with a smile. This place had an old timey country diner vibe. Cozy. Coming from the Bay Area, I am numb to the prices we have to pay for breakfast/brunch. So when we opened the menu and saw all the options on here for such a reasonable price I automatically knew I would love this place. We had a decent sized group with 7 people, but we ordered and got our food fairly quickly! I ordered the corn beef hash with eggs over-easy and hashbrowns. My girlfriend got the eggs, sausage, potatoes, and a biscuit with gravy. Portion size was more than enough and some of us had to get a to-go box for the rest. Everything hit the spot and the bill was only $15 per person. Would recommend coming here anytime!

Delicious Mexican dinner. Great fresh salsa, quick service, my enchilada taco and chile relleno were really good, he ordered the Friday fajita special and was happy with it. Basic good Mexican food. Only thing is their "wine margarita" is bright green, must be loaded with artificial color, no?

Great atmosphere, nice staff, and great food!! Looked this place up on yelp and did not expect it to be this good. I recommend this place 100%

Fast service and food was wonderful- had ham and cheese omelette and hash browns. Some of the best hash browns I've had- highly recommended.

Great breakfast restaurant and best reason to eat here it's not a chain, nor fast food just good food made to order.

Love the idea of this place, it was quiet and had the place to ourselves it seemed. The service was fantastic! But the food fell a little short of our expectations! The banana milkshake was great. The burgers were good according to my husband and son but the BLT was such a disappointment and the onion rings had burned bits all in the bottom of the tray. I don't like their "plates"- not sure how they clean and maintain the cutting board they serve the food on but seems like a breeding ground for bacteria? Just not a fan. I was hoping after being on Diners Drive-ins and Dives that the quality should be there, even something as simple and basic as a BLT should be stellar or just take it off of the menu. Sadly I won't be coming back- prices were high for the quality.

A classic breakfast sounded good at the time... From the breakfast menu I chose the Juke Box Special but the friendly server suggested the Soldier Boy instead which was basically the same thing except this included grilled potatoes and only one pancake. The server urged me to try the potatoes... omgosh! it was so good, they were grilled and I love the crunchiness. Nothing fancy on the menu just good, ole' classic home cookin' and diner "comfort food." Breakfast is served all day.
