    Chorizo Breakfast Burrito
    Courtney O.

We stopped at C and T's for breakfast this morning while coming home from camping. We arrived around 10:30am and they were busy, but we were still seated immediately. The inside had that small town diner feel which I always like. Huge food portions! We ordered the Chorizo Breakfast Burrito, Pancake, Scrambled Eggs and Bacon plus a 2 Eggs plate with Hash-Browns and Bacon with a side of Biscuits and Gravy. All the food was pretty good, we really liked the bacon and pancake, but the potatoes were under seasoned and the biscuits were a bit hard for my taste. The downside was our server was very slow, she would disappear randomly and there were other tables that came in after us who got their food first. Also, when she brought the bill and then ran my card, the receipt that came out was $5 more. The taxes and service charge weren't added until my card was ran which I thought was odd and I was bit annoyed that it wasn't on my original bill. Plus, I was charged $1.50 for the Biscuits and Gravy and nowhere on their menu does it state that there is an extra charge. The menu lists toast or biscuits and gravy...would there have been an additional cost if I would have picked toast instead? The only reason I am not rating lower is because of the decent food, but this place should definitely put the additional price for biscuits and gravy and the full bill amount should be listed the first time. This all rubbed me the wrong way, so we probably won't be back.

Very friendly staff, great food, good prices. We came here before going to Apple Hill and had a really nice breakfast. The outdoor seating was well shaded, but not fancy. All in all, it was a solid choice to start our morning.

Your basic breakfast and lunch diner. This is a nice stop when you're on a long drive as it's adjacent to Highway 50 or convenient for locals as well. A very casual atmosphere we were pleasantly greeted and grabbed a seat. Our server efficiently, operated as hostess, waitress, server, bus person, and cashier for the entire restaurant. The restaurant is very clean and food was good. Efficient service even though we came in at the same time with three or four other parties. The menu is somewhat limited, but you'll get a quality meal regardless of what you do order. We would recommend the Charlie's Chips, their home made potato chips, that are an option with many of the lunch sandwiches.

I still have no idea what C & T stands for, but what I do know if a good deal when I see it. While on a early morning road trip to Tahoe with some friends we decided to stop at C & T a couple minutes after they just opened for breakfast. The staff seemed sleepy, but still greeted us with a smile. This place had an old timey country diner vibe. Cozy. Coming from the Bay Area, I am numb to the prices we have to pay for breakfast/brunch. So when we opened the menu and saw all the options on here for such a reasonable price I automatically knew I would love this place. We had a decent sized group with 7 people, but we ordered and got our food fairly quickly! I ordered the corn beef hash with eggs over-easy and hashbrowns. My girlfriend got the eggs, sausage, potatoes, and a biscuit with gravy. Portion size was more than enough and some of us had to get a to-go box for the rest. Everything hit the spot and the bill was only $15 per person. Would recommend coming here anytime!

Delicious Mexican dinner. Great fresh salsa, quick service, my enchilada taco and chile relleno were really good, he ordered the Friday fajita special and was happy with it. Basic good Mexican food. Only thing is their "wine margarita" is bright green, must be loaded with artificial color, no?

We came with a party of 6 on a Thursday for brunch and was seated right away. It seems like it definitely gets busy, especially the weekends! The portions were HUGE. Everyone was stuffed! My toddler especially loved the warmed blueberry bran muffin -- toddler approved. The muffins seem to go fast, since people seem to stop by just to their pastries. We ordered some with our meal, and later my in-law decided they wanted one to-go, but they were already sold out. I got the quiche and it was really delicious. It was a little heavier on the cheese for my personal taste, but still really good and I enjoyed it. I also had leftovers! We also tried the blueberry pancake, which was fluffy and full of blueberries! I was pleasantly surprised because many places skimp on blueberries, but this was loaded! It was perfect! Others in my party also got omelettes and they enjoyed it as well. Overall, cute atmosphere, friendly staff, generous portions, and good food. Would definitely stop by again when we're in Placerville!

Felt like we were coming over to a family member's house for a meal like we do every Sunday. We also got a warm cup of coffee, refreshing lake Finnon sunrise, and a fried doughnut (doughnut was the perfect amount of sweet and crunch). We also loved the sweet fruits and potatoes which were fried to a nice crisp with soft interior. Place is super clean and quaint. We will definitely stop by every time we are in the area. We finally made it to Four Sisters Cafe, and it is absolutely the best breakfast/lunch restaurant…read morewe've tried since moving here a year ago. The food, service, and ambiance were all terrific and made for a comfortable, delicious experience we will be returning to soon. We had tried going there once before about 6 months ago, but the wait was too long for our schedule that day. Yesterday, our party of four showed up at 11, and the wait was only 10 minutes. Our server, Kristin, was amazing. She answered our questions perfectly and without hesitation; she was always there to refill iced tea and bring anything additional we needed - the service was flawless in every way. We were at a booth for four, and the booths are comfortable and clean. The layout of the restaurant is efficient, and perfect for the dining experience FSC is offering. And the food? Off the charts 5/5! I hadn't had pancakes in a long time, so I ordered the blueberry pancakes. The two pancakes were both massive and delicious. Fresh blueberries in the batter and on top, and they were perfectly ripe and flavorful. I can't envision anyone actually finishing all of it, but I was happy to take home leftovers. The pancakes were fluffy and light, among the best I have ever had. I also had a side of the house-cured bacon, which I requested crispy, and which arrived perfectly crispy and delicious. Mrs. K had the blue cheese burger and loved it. I was granted a taste, and I agreed. Juicy, prepared exactly as ordered, and served with exceptional fries that were crispy outside and soft inside. Our friends had various forms of eggs and bacon, including a dish FSC calls Beggin' For Bacon. The egg dishes looked perfect, and our friends confirmed they tasted as perfect as they looked. FSC gets a ton of 5-star reviews, and they deserve every one. We will be returning soon and often, and obviously, I highly recommend FSC for your next breakfast/lunch outing.

When the weather is nice sitting outside is awesome. It's shaded and pleasant. They do allow dogs to sit outside, and I did witness a doggy disagreement, so if you are dog averse maybe ask to be seated inside. The service is wonderful. They are very attentive and all look like they are hustling. It is a wonderful experience to know that they care about their customers. Drinks are constantly refilled, and they constantly check in on you in a non annoying way. The food is where I disagree with most of the reviews here. My first time there I got the corned beef and hash. The corned beef was great, the potatoes could be so much better though. They need to be crisp and well seasoned, they were neither. Maybe you can ask for them extra crispy? The next time I visited I had a BBQ chicken sandwich. The chicken was kinda dry, the sauce tasted good though. I also didn't like how it was assembled, it seemed kinda tossed on the bun and sent out. They are so busy here, and I wish they would just take a little extra time in the kitchen to make the food as great as the service. This is like a 3.5 star, with the great service and the decent food. Would I ever come here out of choice? Probably not. Would I throw up a big fuss if friends wanted to come here? Nah, I'd go without issue. Maybe I haven't found my meal here yet.
