Cute cafe in Ridgewood with a nice interior and a few tables outside. I originally went for coffee and was very pleasantly surprised at the variety of food options. Service is quick and the window serves as a perfect handoff for outdoor dining. Food is fantastic! I had the Traditional and it was perfect for a solo brunch.

My partner and I tried C. Lo Cafe for the first time yesterday and I just had to write a review, hoping they get the traffic they deserve. It was such a great breakfast spot. I placed a to-go order at the cafe which is small but comforting. I ordered the drip coffee (so smooth), a BELT (with turkey bacon), and the Tocino-Huevo-Queso. All were 10/10!! Cannot wait to be back in the area to stop by again.

I got a brisket wrap today for breakfast. It was quite dry, and I found a hair in it!! Gross

    Horchata Latte

Am acquaintance suggested I try this place out. It is definitely a neighborhood gem. The first time I went I tried their horchata latte with oat milk and the tocino , queso y huevo. I fell on the floor. Everything was so delicious there was a party in my mouth. The bun is a brioche bun which is already delicious on it s own. Then it's pores with a thick bacon egg and cheese and aioli sauce. It's like a semi gourmet bacon, egg and cheese. I've definitely gone back for just the bacon egg and cheese on several occasions. The horchata latte as I'm sure you can imagine so the perfect way to start your day. It's a drink of pure happiness in a cup. I've gone back and had their c.lo bowl, I always opt for the brisket. It was also a party in my mouth, the differen flavor pairings. For a coffee shop they do a great job with their food. My only reason for not giving them a full 5 is there was a time when there was no cook so I had to only get a sandwich, their pastries don't look appetizing, I prob would never order that from them. Order fresh food.

Chips and "dips". Mango passionfruit mojito

The math behind this 3-star rating: Mango passionfruit mojito: 4 stars Chips and dips appetizer: 2 stars Service was pretty much neutral. It was a hot afternoon in the city and I needed a refreshing drink. The mango passionfruit mojito caught my eye on the menu, so I went for it. The flavor was super yummy, but perhaps a bit too sugary. The mint could have used a bit more muddling, but its presence was still known. I tried my best to savor the sips, but it went down pretty quickly. Our order of chips and dips arrived in quick succession to the drink. The chips are large and very very crunchy. The batch we got had definitely been sitting in the back for a while because they tasted stale and overly fried. The so-called dips were so lackluster that it was actually kind of sad. The guacamole was really just a little smashed avocado. The liquidy salsa tasted only of pureed tomatos. And the black beans were just that: whole black beans. Pretty much no seasoning on any of these sides to speak of. Had higher hopes for a Latin American cafe, but oh well. Perhaps the tacos would have been the better way to go, as the customer at the bar raved about how he had been craving them. A nice reprieve from the heat, but I dont think I'd go back.

My friend and I decided to share everything. We ordered: GARLIC NAAN 5/5 These garlic naans were probably the best we've both tried. As soon as we took a bite, we are both impressed. And to think that we would have missed out if our server didn't suggest it... These particular naans are made different from the traditional Iones. They are coated with buttery goodness and are super thin. The hummus on the side was also a very good pairing. I would recommend this app. PORK JHOL MOMO 5/5 These pork momos were also super delicious! Comparing it to the ones I've had at another restaurant, there is no overpowering cilantro in this one! The momo itself was very juicy. The flavor of the inside and the soup was delicious. Another must-get! CHICKEN KHAJA PLATTER 4/5 My friend and I were probably the least impressed with this one. A lot of the dish includes a lot of dry ingredients like popped rice & soybean seeds. They also used cold meats and veggies. It was great to try each portion of the platter, but wasn't our personal favorites of our visit here. Overall, we had a delicious lunch. We throughly enjoyed our experience here and would definitely recommend this local spot. I did think it was worth the trip over.

Great aesthetics, but the drinks and service fell short…read more The interior of this shop is bright, clean, minimalist, and honestly super cute. (Though the tiny stools at the long table seem to favor aesthetics over actual comfort.) Parking was also fairly easy for a Sunday afternoon. Unfortunately, the first impression of the drinks didn't live up to the vibe. I ordered the Ferrero Rocher espresso latte, but it tasted nothing like chocolate or hazelnut--just straight, syrupy milk. I couldn't taste the espresso at all, which was disappointing and felt like a waste of money. My sisters are regulars here and noted that their matcha lattes were way off and not up to their usual standard either. They didn't recognize the baristas working, so it may have just been an off day with an untrained crew. That said, consistency is important. The staff working this past Sunday weren't the friendliest; I felt more like a nuisance than a welcome customer. Because my sisters usually love this place, I might give it one more shot to see if it was just a fluke, but this visit definitely wasn't worth the price.
