They also threw in a 3 year warranty on my repairs which was great peace of mind. They also performed their complimentary PCA tech inspection, which is advertised as a thorough inspection. I specifically asked that all vehicle fluids be inspected before the event. During the track day, my car suffered a power steering failure that left me stranded. I had to call my regular mechanic to the track to repair the car so I could get it home, resulting in a significant repair bill and a lost track day. They offered no support or reparations. When I first contacted the shop, their response was simply, "You brought the vehicle to a track. We aren't liable." It was only after multiple phone calls that they acknowledged the power steering fluid had appeared discolored while the car was in their shop all day, but they never communicated that to me. I understand that track cars can fail. My issue isn't the failure--it's the lack of communication. I specifically asked for the fluids to be inspected, and the shop later admitted they noticed discolored power steering fluid but chose not to mention it. Had they done so, I would have serviced the system before the event. I've included photos of the power steering fluid taken after the failure and during the repair. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this shop if you're relying on them to prepare your car for a track event.

Come to find out the transmission fluid was mixing with the oil the oil was out of the car by time I was down the block in the car was overheating. the radiator and heater hose was loose. How do you not notice the oil and the transmission fluid is mixing together. Get that guy out of there he's not paying attention to the car or the customer.

Here's the really concise breakdown of my recent repair experience with Mike and his business. I bring in my car for an oil change, my car is ailing, but I ask Mike to help me locate an exhaust leak towards the engine. (Me)This will fix it. -Drivers Side Manifold I ask for a quote and receive one after the part was looked up. Leave my car. Not too long after I reach out to Mike and share with him a few of the symptoms the car was showing me that I hoped the repair would remedy. Mike carefully explains how in fact this would not solve my issue. As we talked further and I tell him a few other thing I've noticed with the car, I was then thoughtfully walked through some frank realities of what I would most likely be encountering on my return on investment, this from an experienced mechanic/savvy businessman's perspective. I'm fully convinced, I'll take back the car as is. I ask how much do I owe, not only did he not accept any amount, nor a tip, but he offered me clean insight as to why this is only way he would conduct this type of transaction. So here's the full story-- Called early morning Wednesday (7:09am), The mechanic that answered looked at the schedule and said he could take a look and to bring it in. It was towed and dropped off at 7:50am. They couldn't get to it (I'm a single mom so had to rent a car to pick up my son from school) They called me the following day Thursday at 12:40pm, telling me they didn't pull it into the garage or run a full diagnostic as I requested, but instead they tried starting it up and that the Starter Motor needs to be replaced. (We figured that much) -- Noticing I will need an oil change soon they added that in, for a total of $880.00 for the repair. I asked for the price without the oil change and she said $728. NEARLY $160 for an oil change is absurd. When I asked about the diagnostic and why I was being charged for a diagnostic when they didnt even give me any information we didnt already know, and they didnt run a full diagnostic, I was faced with an attitude and told "we could have charged you $140 for an hour of diagnostics, but we only charged you for a half-hour". I'm sorry does pushing the start button on a vehicle take 30 minutes? As someone that lives a block away and this is the most convenient place, I STILL wouldn't go back. Even the guys at O'Reilys said they were total rip offs.
