Dracut Tire Shop business and their employees used to be reliable, honest, and good in their car fixing but not any more: they drop my wheels sensors while changing my tires. Therefore, the exclamation sign was continue coming, when brought my car back to them and asked why exclamation sign is coming after I changed my tires by you they said they'll check. After checking they said you had connection problems wires needed to be checked. After placing the new wires the sign continue coming, when brought my car back they said my car exhaust is broken...long list, but can't stop mentioning; during state inspection they didn't pass my car as the car number plate needed to be change...and so back and fourth ... some of my friends had similar experience with them; continuation of car fixing problems that Dracut Tire Shop had created for them too. One friend told me how they put one shorter break shoe during both break shoes and pads changing, that caused many loud noises. When brought the car back they started to bragged how high reputation of their services they have arguing and becoming agitated instead of checking the break that they had put. When my friend told them that he took his car to another car shop and the mechanic told him one pads and shoe break is not the right size; only then Dracut Tire Shop mechanics agreed to check his prior work; think his name is Dave; he changed the break shoe and pad to right one by saying it was a manufacture failure. I wonder why they do such unprofessional work and why they create such car fixing problems. I also wondered why they did such problematic work to my and my friends cars, may be we are color people and they don't like them, or they do such problematic car no fixing but creating more problem to customers' cars, means they create car problems for everybody. They also charged more money for their services too, expensive. I stop going to them, even stop for state inspection too so my friends too. Not sure how they can call themselves a tire shop when they can't correctly repair a basic slow leak. I paid for a repair on 1/5, and by 1/27 the same tire was leaking again. They even tried to claim it was a different tire, despite it being the exact same one they worked on. Their own employee admitted a proper repair shouldn't fail in three weeks. WARNING!!! This business has new owners. I just left after bringing my car in for an inspection sticker. The vehicle was REJECTED because the license plate was supposedly "worn" and the license plate light was getting dim. This place is now a scam. When i dared to question this, the employees would not identify or allow me to speak with the owner or manager. Instead a group of these employees stood laughing and smirking.After going here since 1996 to always buy my tires from DRACUT TIRE, NEVER AGAIN. For a business who specializes in tires, one of the employee doesn't know what the ___ he's talking about. I argued with him but just wouldn't budge. Stuck in his own misconception and spreading false information... Here goes: the difference between 265/70/R16 and 265/75/R16 is the HEIGHT. Not the width!!! Both tires have the same width! 265mm / 10.4 in. But no, that employee said no no no, the 75 is narrower. "Skinnier". False, false, false! The 75 is simply taller. 31.7 in versus 30.7 for the 70.... The Dracut Tire is under new ownership and this is for the new owners. I lived in Dracut for 40 years and never considered buying tires from anybody else. Billy was great and conducted the business as a local town business. The new owners should take note - my wife went in the other day and needed air in her tire, when they asked her for $5.00 she thought they were joking! Evidently the new owners now charge for air. They know nothing about local retail - this is a neighborhood store with a captive audience. When people ask how was it we often shy away from the real answer - it is not the money, it is the principle. You just lost a 40 year customer, my 4 tire purchase will be done elsewhere for sure. read more

Brought my car in for a tire change because I hit a curb and was told I bent my strut.they changed my tire and charged me $375 for a new tire ( which was hiway robery) I Brought it somewhere else and was told I had no front end damage at all including struts were not bent And charged me nothing. You figure if you spend $824.50 for tires they will treat your property with a little respect. dropped my car off the night before and when I picked it up the following day (after hours) there was black grease on ALL of my rims. Got it home to my garage and wiped the grease to find all the rims were scratched. emailed them with pictures and was told to bring it in the next day. I took time out of work, drove 30 minutes from Boston to find the guy that told me to stop by wasn't even there. The guy behind the counter was clue and called a guy from the shop to come out and say that those marks were not made from his tire machine. the standard response given to everyone one I'm sure. Then he had the nerve to say what do you care your car is old. Been going there since I moved there (8 years) Will go someplace else next time. I have no clue what happened to this place. Been going here for 20 years mostly for tires and stickers because my friend and I do 90% of the work on our cars. I have never had 1 issue! Have had my truck for 8 years with custom "off road" bumpers and my front licence plate has always been mounted right up front covering the winch mount (I don't use a winch) was told I would fail because the bolts were not in the proper holes, WTH? I have never had an issue with a sticker for that plate. Now I see the reviews on Yelp and Google and the owner loves to respond, so kindly, to them (doesn't make you look any better K), I even was prepared to spend the $1400 on new tires as they quoted me however I just found the exact same tires at Sullivan Tire for $500 cheaper! Guess there is a reason the place isn't quite as busy as it has been in previous years! I will not say anything negative because it is more mydisapointing than anger but I will be taking my buisness on all 4 of my vehicles elsewhere! Sadly people have come out of the woodwork to tell me personal horror stories of being failed for a worn windsheild wiper or missing a valve stem cover (WTH does a valve stem cover have to do with safety?) Cracks or scratches on bumper covers or even a certain sticker on their bumper... What a sad thing to watch for a business that has been such a huge part of the town for so long! read more

yelp won't allow me to put 0 stars so if 1 is fine. both of my parents have gone recently. my dad brought his car in to replace the plugs in his tires, when we went in they quoted him a certain amount and then when they had changed the plugs and went to check my dad out the charge him double what they had originally told him. and told him too bad pay or we'll take the tires off. my mom went in today to get her inspection sticker and they failed her car for safety. they had told her the front to tires were worn out and the back two should to be replaced too and quoted her over $200. instead of putting the two fires that failed, they put all four failed. so my mom left and went to Lee's for a a second opinion. Lee told my mom that her tires are perfectly fine and they are not worn out at all.My mother will be filling a complaint with the DMW and i hope everyone at Dracut Tire looses their license and are fined. Everyone at Dracut Tire is an asshole and does not obtain any common sense or any customer service skills. If anyone from Dracut Tire sees this I hope you learn to not be a dick and to do your job CORRECTLY and not scam/lie to people to try and make money, also fuck you. read more

I have been going to Dracut tire for all of 30 years for tires alignments oil changes minor mechanical work but mostly stickers they use to be a great shop we're the personnel would actually help you and make sure you got a sticker now they fail you for the slightest infraction and seem to enjoy you failing as of today after some 30 years I will no longer use them read more

Terrible experience. My grandmother came in to get her inspection sticker and was treated horribly. An employee took off her license plate and put it in the back of her car. This confused her because it made no sense. She's 93 and the employees laughed at her and made her cry when she tried to ask why this was happening. She ended up leaving without the sticker and drove home without her plate attached. I cannot recommend a place that would treat any customer this way, especially a senior citizen. read more

Please don't let a few reports of bad experiences persuade you not to give Dracut Tire a shot. I have been coming here for inspections and tires for 20 years and have never had any issues. For inspections you just line up out back and they take you in order, no need to go inside or make an appointment. It's the first chore of the day on a Saturday a couple times each year and it's always quick and painless (even the time I didn't pass inspection). Tire repair is really where these guys shine. It is usually about $12 to plug a hole from a nail or similar type of puncture. It's always quick and painless for these too. I highly recommend. read more

These guys are great if you need inspections. They were fast and nice. I did have a problem with rear brakes and rotors. Got the brakes done in June 2020. But they were noisy immediately after that. Fast forward to December 2020, had to take my car to the dealership for something, and the dealership told me the rear brakes were not installed correctly, parts were inferior, and needed replaced. Anyway I will return for inspections and maybe tires, but not brakes. read more

Went in with my spare tire on the car and a flat tire in the trunk. I asked for them to plug the tire - but they told me it could not be plugged. I had to buy a new tire. The mechanic confirmed that my other three tires were just fine - and that I only needed the one tire. I bought one tire - same brand and style as my other three - at a reasonable price. I had a nail in a tire and they fixed it and put my tire back on within about 5 minutes and charged me $12. I honestly would have paid $50 if that's what they wanted because I know NOTHING about how much it costs to repair a tire, only how much a new tire would cost. Worst experience I have ever had at a tire place. They didn't even replace the stems on my brand new tires, the light went on after I left. Brought it back and they finally put new tire stems in for my new tires. Still kept happening and they couldn't fix it. Took it to a better place and immediately they saw they put the wrong stems in my tires and screwed up my TPMS. Additionally, everyone who works there looks like they just got out of jail. Wow! All I can say is wow! Went to Goodyear in Lowell on Saturday to get 4 new tires. I received a quote of $1200 for basic tires, nothing special. Turned around and went to Dracut tire after my boyfriend's recommendation. Not only did I get 4 new (decent) all weather tires, but there was no trying to talk me into more than I needed. The sales person told me these tires were very good on my type of vehicle and the price? Total walk out the door cost... $595.00 Half the cost of Goodyear! And this place was packed, figured it would take about 2 hours or so to get through the line...NOPE. They are so organized and efficient, we were about 8th in line but we were out the door in 50 minutes. Every bay was open and being worked. This was just a great experience! Some of the people aren't too friendly. If you're going there to get an inspection sticker the process they have in regards to where you go and wait in line is a little confusing and discombobulated. Also, you're essentially expected to wait outside in the parking lot while they're doing the inspection. I especially didn't like how they left my car parked on the side of the road with the windows down, registration on the dashboard and keys in the ignition once they were done with it. They had me go inside to pay and there was a line so my cat was sitting like that on the side of the road for 15 minutes. read more
