I wish I could give more than two stars to a local company. I have had the viral fruit desserts in 3 major cities and these by far Im not impressed. They're so small they can fit in this palm of your hand, most of them are two to three times that size. I got an orange and a BlackBerry. First the orange was dipped in such a thick coating of white chocolate it was hard to bite through and it tasted like a baby aspirin, inside was just flavored whip cream, baby aspirin flavored whipped cream, no fruit whatsoever and the teeny tiny piece of cake that's probably an inch maybe an inch and a half inch and a rock hard cookie. BlackBerry, thought it was a blueberry but it was a BlackBerry again very small amount of fruit on top giving the illusion that they're like the ones that are all over Social Media and ones I've had, a thick layer of chocolate and whipped cream flavored with a dry piece of cake, no fruit. So for $26 for two things that were two bites are overpriced and underwhelming. I wasn't the only one in there there, nothing had prices or labels, its a guessing game. I saw people walk out because the person behind the counter did not know either til she rang them up. So as a local business Ill rate you a little higher, will I be back No will I suggest No. $ 26 was to much and these do not come close to the major bakeries in looks or taste but youre charging high end. Came in for their blueberry croissant. It was so beautiful. I didn't want to eat it, but it was the very delicious, fresh, and the chocolate shell around it was a delicious treat! We also tried their Dubai chocolate croissant. It was so flaky and tasted so delicious. You know that taste you get with fake chocolate, well guess what they don't have that here. Visited on a Friday, staff was friendly. I got a banana croissant, lemon blueberry cookie, and a brownie. If the brownies were lower and I could've seen the top I probably wouldn't have bought one. They had chocolate chips on top, just as a personal preference, I don't like added chocolate chunks in a brownie. The bottom part of the brownie delicious. My only concern with the store was that prices weren't posted. I really like to know how much I'm paying for what. I even received a receipt and it was not itemized. I stopped in with my hubby the other night to grab some dessert on the way home. The shop is bright and well lit with just a couple of tables. The person at the counter greeted us and we started looking around. It was just before closing so they were pretty cleaned out but my husband was still happy with the selection gif he and my daughter. As a gluten free girly, I was a little bummed to see that my only option was a snickerdoodle unless I ordered ahead. I was going to take pictures but they started eating before I had the chance. The brownie seriously melted in my mouth with its silky chocolaty goodness. The little cup of cheesecake was so light I could have had about a cup of that with a spoon. And the vanilla cake pop was light and so tasty! When I'm out that way I'm definitely looking this local business up. I looked at her menu and her prices are so reasonable. I found C's way before they had their own storefront to make a graduation cake for my daughter and I have used her for all my celebration cakes since that time I was so excited when she opened her own storefront and that it's really close to my house so anytime I want a sweet treat I can pop in and grab something and I know that it'll always be great after many photos of seeing their blueberry bliss croissant. I stopped in today to grab it and it did not disappoint. It is not overly sweet and it has great flavor. I'm generally not a person who races to try a new cake place, but I do like a good dessert spot! My discovery of C's Mad Batter Cakery was a fortuitous accident that has already become a bit of a local and personal obsession. Not being your average fan of frosting and all the pageantry that generally accompanies cupcakes, in my experience being what most embellishment is crafted with.  The details in C's cupcakes have taken this cupcake game to a whole other level and all at less than the cost of many of the local donut choices. As of this writing, I've tried a few other flavors but I absolutely keep coming back for the Mocha Doughut! The cupcake is a light, fluffy chocolate but unlike others I've tried, it isn't so light that the flavor is mild. The chocolate is rich and obviously made of quality ingredients and then topped with a yummy frosting that isn't so full of sugar that you can no longer discern the intended flavor which is a delicate mixture of caramel and coffee. To top it off is an adorable, miniature donut drizzled with a mocha type syrup that just makes this cupcake heaven. I like it best left to sit at room temperature for a while to allow the marriage of flavors occur but it's almost as wonderful cold. Of course, I've since tried other flavors which are made with the same level of care and creativity by the incredible staff, so you can't really go wrong with the options. They're all delicious however the Mocha Doughnut holds my heart. Absolutely consider giving them a try! read more

I've been a fan of Cs since she was baking out of her home. Her baked goods are not only beautiful, unique works of art... they taste absolutely delicious!!! Moist, flavorful, fresh, and just the right amount of sweetness. Ciarra is hands down the best baker in town. I've never been a huge fan of cake pops or sugar cookies but I could eat hers all day. My wife and I stopped here for dessert after having lunch at the adjacent Mongolian place. They were technically closed, but they let us in anyway. The guy who helped us (I want to say he's one of the owners) was super cool and helpful. He provided us with tips and information on the other baked goods the offer that wasn't on display at the time. We ended up going with a couple of their Oreo cakecicles and two of their mocha cupcakes. Both were incredibly moist and flavorful. Congratulations on your grand opening! The shop is so cute and welcoming. We love the pink! The staff is friendly, caring, and helpful. We have tried everything CMBC offers, and every item is delicious in its own way. The cupcakes and cakes are moist and flavorful. I love the ones with blackberries, raspberries, lemon, or blueberries in them (separately, of course). Those are our favorite options. The kids enjoy the S'mores cupcakes, and they love the cookies. Oh, and the cakesicles!! They rave over those cakesicles and keep going back for more. I also really enjoy the chocolate and caramel pretzels rods. Sweet and salty for the win! I have not been to the actual location yet, so I decided to take a ride over there because they had the Dubai chocolate croissants and was lucky enough to get the very last one they had for that day.It is a cute shop and definitely on theme. I don't recall many chairs in there , but it would be nice to come in a take a seat and just enjoy the shop, but regardless it was still so cute. I was quite surprised at the size I expected a small croissant and it actually was probably the size of my hand. It had a little bit of Dubai filling in the inside. It wasn't a whole lot which was super nice. The croissant was nice and flaky and delicious and I also had the I believe it was a chocolate brownie cupcake. I can't remember the exact name of it, but it was actually really really good and it wasn't overwhelming. It was nice and rich. The brownie was absolutely delicious. The icing was delicious. I highly recommend that you guys give that place a try when you get a chance I will definitely be back to try more of the cupcakes, they had a few different ones that I didn't wanna try, but I had to hold my composure this particular time. read more
