I was really excited to go to C2 steak and seafood restaurant as my wife had made reservations for my birthday. The atmosphere was wonderful. I'll be at service was quite slow. but I was willing to wait for about an hour to get served after we ordered in anticipation of a great meal. The food was an edible I'm not who sure the chef was on December 14, 2023, but he should be fired immediately everything that we ordered was way over salted and destroyed. What would be a great piece of steak and in my wife's can't case the lamb lollipops, I couldn't believe how bad it was because the food was so awful. Thoroughly enjoyed our unplanned dinner at the C2 Steakhouse last night. There were no reservations available (it was Saturday night) but we were able to grab a couple of seats at the bar. Let me start by saying that the prices are high, however, worth it if you are looking for gourmet food. The food was timely, not too long of a wait, but not out so fast that you wonder if your plate was sitting in the back pre-made and ready for reheating. We started with the Gem Salad which was really tasty and dressed just right. The entrees we selected were the Seared Day Boat Scallops and the Filet Minon with a side of Cheese Risotto. Everything was cooked to perfection and was just delicious. The food is rich so plan on getting pretty full. I wish we had room in our bellies to try a dessert, but that will have to wait until next time. Finally, a shout out to the wait staff. The service, even while sitting at the bar, was excellent. Our waiter/bartender was very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. We were very impressed with the way he presented himself which says something about the quality of training they give their staff. We would totally recommend this place to our friends. The restaurant ambience is very good however, walking through a smoke-filled casino with a bunch of 85-year-old zombies who can't stuff their social security check into a slot machine fast enough certainly drags down the overall experience. I ordered a wedge salad and a Flannery beef Delmonico. The wedge salad was very good. Flannery is my go-to beef provider and I have never had anything but a beautifully dry aged, well marbled steak from them. I have a hard time believing that what was billed as Flannery actually was. The steak was exceptionally lean, not anywhere near what I expect from a ribeye. It was tough chewy and nearly flavorless. I loved the food here! This place will definitely rival some of the best steak houses in the Sacramento area even if its an hour away. The ambiance of the steakhouse is legit! Good lighting inside and spacious, but when you open the menu it's a bit bright. The menu is digital and quality bounded. It really did make the room brighter literally. I started off with the crab cake and although it was only one, it was superbly delicious. Every bite of the crab cake was a real savory treat. The have excellent choices in whisky and wine but we went with some of their signature cocktails the martini and margarita. The drinks came out with excellence and so we ended up having a second round of the same drinks during the course of dinner. The filet was cooked perfectly to our medium request and tasted like OMG. Yes I said it tasted like OMG and the lobster was equally delicious. For dessert the cream brulee was perfectly fired with crisp top and and delicious white chocolate and caramelized orange. With out a doubt I will always remember C2 steakhouse for it's excellent service and great food. After a fun-filled day hangin' out and catchin' up with a good friend of mine and his buddy, we had the luxury to dine here at C2 Steak & Seafood restaurant which was conveniently located close to a high roller area and the casino cage. My friend's buddy opted to treat us for a late dinner as a token of his significant win! I was floored when he made the offer and of course we just couldn't resist. Earlier that evening when we first walked into the restaurant, they were booked solid and the next available time slot was at 10 pm so we managed to kill about another hour at the blackjack tables just enough for me to lose my pants. You know that feeling, coulda, shoulda, woulda but didn't? Of course as I played, my imagination ran wild with dreams of Robin Leach's - Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous. But as always, I'm way to chicken to place that huge bet and eventually lost out. I guess it goes to prove that you are what you eat after all! When we finally checked in, we waited for a few minutes then were seated right away. The restaurant had a nice waiting lounge, sleek full bar and a pretty modern décor. The host and wait staff was dressed to impress but for the most part the clientele had on what I'd call casual casino wear (shirt, shorts, jeans, flip-flops, etc...) though some folks sported semi-formal attire. Shortly, warm and soft sliced bread was served with three different types of yummy gourmet butter. I enjoyed the bread and butter combo so much that I almost forgot that I needed an entrée. They had a pretty extensive wine list and their backlit menu book featured Starters, Salads, Soups, Sides, Steaks, Steak House Classic, Classics, Fresh Fish & Crustaceans and Desserts. Everything was a la carte off of the menu unless otherwise noted. We all made up our minds and went with a steak dish. I started off with a glass of Acacia, 2007 Pinot Noir; Carneros. Then we placed our orders: Garlic Mashed Potatoes Grilled Asparagus 14oz Delmonico Steaks 8oz Filet Mignon It took roughly about ten to fifteen minutes for the food to join us then it was grub time. We all agreed that the garlic mash and the grilled asparagus were a hit delicious. Though barely plated for presentation, the whole caramelized onion garnish went wonderfully well with the delmonico steak, not to mention the temperature of the meat was perfectly executed. However, the flavor of the steak itself could use a little bit more bam massage with its seasoning. My friends scored their steak and overall meals experience two thumbs up and I totally agree! I won't eat hear again. You can find a delicious steak somewhere else at significantly lower cost. The food is good but not outstanding. We would have very much enjoyed to have soufflé for desert but had no idea it was an option until the desert menu was given to us and it takes 30 minutes to prepare. To top it all off since we were staying at the hotel, we wanted to charge the meal to our room. As a side note we had made the reservation directly from our room and the host checked us in. It is the first time in all of our travels and staying at very nice hotels that we were asked by our waitress for our id to verify we were who we were trying to room charge to. We'd been room charging the last two days with no such verification. I understand there may be sketchy individuals that try to cheat the system but there should be a another way this happens. My husband and I went to the Cache Creek casino to play penny slot machines and they offered us $25 a piece in dining credit if we signed up for the players card. So after we played our penny slots we wandered around and decided to eat in the C2 steak and seafood which is the finest restaurant in the casino. They are only open for dinner and so the first seating is as 5pm. We were greeted by a friendly hostess and our waitress was Amber. Amber was a doll. She was friendly and attentive and chatted with us like we were regular customers. I highly recommend you ask for Amber you will not be disappointed. She explained everything about the menu and even went and got my husband information about the casino golf course on top of impeccable dinner service. 5 star for the service! The bread basket was delicious especially the raisin bread with the sweet butter. I had the shrimp and crab appetizer which was delicious. Homeys invited me to a golf outing; it turned into an indulgence in fine food and good wine; all at reasonable prices. C2 is the upsacle restaurant at the casino, and it didn't disappoint. Although my rib eye turned out more medium than rare, the server was quick to whisk my plate away, apologize, and put another one on the grill for me. Two of us went for the 32 oz rib eye, thinking we were getting quantity over quality. Turns out that this cut was perfectly marbled and very filling. The other two went for the fillet mignon with a blue cheese sauce and were equally satisfied. We shared sides of broccoli, asparagus, and mushrooms, and topped our dinner off with creme brulee, apple crisp with two scoops, and banana phyllo basket. Went here while staying at Cache Creek. Reservations are almost required if you want to eat here on a Saturday night. I made my reservations weeks in advance. Arrived at our reservation time to be greeted by two hosts. They were extremely nice. They walked our party of 9 to a table in its own room overlooking the valley!!! It was a great surprise because I didn't request to be separated from the rest of the restaurant. My guests were so happy we had our own private room for dinner. The experience was truly amazing. Our waiter who was new to c2 was phenomenal! I wish I remembered his name because he made the experience all that more amazing. The food was out of this world. We started off with fried calamari! Best calamari any of us have ever had. Then we each ordered our variety of soups and salad. I ordered the beet salad! It was like a piece of art. So flavorful and simply delicious. The table gets an array of different breads. They were fresh and we loved trying them all! There literally wasn't one that we didn't like. Everyone raved about the steaks they ordered. I ordered the scallops. They were so fresh and absolutely delicious! Everything about our dinner was on point. Our waiter gifted both our guests two complimentary desserts with happy birthday signs in the dessert made out of chocolate. It was so nice! The desserts were brownies with some whipping cream. We walked in without a reservation, and accommodated us, without knowing it was a special nite (our wedding anniversary). Everything about this place was great. The light up menus, the beautiful plate and cup settings, it was clearly a fancy joint! The bread was a variety of three breads and three butters (regular, pesto and honey)... All three were good. I got the 15oz Delmonico steak and it melted in my mouth- it was so damn good!!! My hubby ordered the surf and turf which was on the pricey side ($84) but so worth it! The gave us a free dessert for our anniversary and we got the coffee and chocolate ice cream mud pie- the perfect way to end our anniversary date. read more

After looking at all the bars areas in cache creek we decided on this bar area to have drinks on New Year's Eve. We come in and out a few times. Our bartender was on point with our drinks and the service was top notch here at C2 Steak & Seafood. Our bartender was nice friendly and she made very good drinks. We had a total of like 8 or 9 drink here. Every drink we had was good. Here's the drinks we ordered the C2 Margarita with added blueberries very tasty. Next drink was A gimlet with kettle one vodka very good also. We stuck to those drinks all night long and every drink was good. Prices or reasonable for the drinks. Food we didn't try none but we will in the future for sure. I asked about the cork fee if we bring our own wine and was quoted $15. I will be back here for drinks and dinner. I normally do not even eat half of my steak when I am at home, but when I came here, I had to eat the whole thing.(took some home in a doggy bag of course.) I had the porterhouse steak. It was bigger than my face! At least it felt like it. The steak was cooked to my liking, medium well. The flavor was rich and the meat melted in my mouth. I also had a Cesar salad and the Ahi Tuna.
