I went wine tasting with my friend down the street and we were very hungry after! We walked into Chuy's and everything sounded amazing! I went with the taco plate and I love that you have an option to pick what meat you want on each taco! My friend ordered the potato tacos and those were delicious too! Our server was so sweet, friendly and ready to help us. She truly had great customer service and a great attitude! They have an open salsa bar where you can refill your salsa cups and I really liked the mild salsa! This is a great spot to fulfill your Mexican food craving!

Food was delicious! Best Al pastor I've ever had in my life. Service was soooo quick we only waited 3 minutes for our food. Ambiance was amazing, beautiful decor, music at a conversational volume. Great and just pricing

You can never bite off more than you can chew at Chuy's. If you're ever in the area or passing through, Chuy's offer great authentic Mexican food in the Town of Winters. Friendly and quick service too:) I love everything on the menu but their crispy taco is always a must. Plenty of choices for meat, but I would say carnitas never disappoints. If you're having a tough day choosing, you can always get a combo plate w/ an enchilada, rice, beans, salad and the choice of a soft or crispy taco. Trust me go w/ crispy! What I also like is it's super affordable. The prices and quantity & quality are worth it.

I've been coming here for years & it's still great! The crispy tacos are stuffed to the brim with your meat of choice - mine were chicken & carnitas! My friend had a chicken fajita salad which came out hot & was delicious. They also have a salsa bar, which was convenient. There were many tables inside & they also have patio seating (you just have to order your food inside & then seat yourself outside). The decor inside is colorful & our waitress was friendly & helpful. I will definitely be back for years to come!!

Eh, it's ok. Had a cool little outdoor patio. Maybe i'm spoiled living in the bay area where there is so much really good Mexican cuisine but i was a little disappointed. First off, it was kind of pricey. It was ~75.00 for a family of 4 and my youngest usually splits a plate with mama bear. Secondly, I ordered a 3 taco plate and thankfully they put salsa on my tacos because the Al Pastor was hard. They beans and rice were just ok too, a little on the bland side. Luckily I had a michelada to wash it all down lol. In closing, I'm sure this place is a big hit with the locals and the location and outdoor patio is great but I just don't see me coming back. One thing that was kind of funny was one of the staffers didn't know what Ketchup was haha.

Tried the Taco truck today in Vacaville. On frontage road by the Nut Tree airport. I got a regular chicken taco and a super burrito with carnitas. This was my first go at a taco truck. The flavor of the taco was really good. Better than most sit down restaurants. The burrito was HUGE! The star was the carnitas. I like crispy carnitas. There was a balance of crispiness and tenderness to the pork. I would recommend a pit stop here.

Service was EXCELLENT! i had the shrimp and carne asada plate, Sunday special. The shrimp in this dish were delicious. The shrimp were perfectly seasoned, rice flavorful and and beans taste great. Steak fajitas were good a little on the bland side but the delicious salsa was the perfect pairing! We will be back!

This has been my go to local burrito joint since I can remember. The family that owns the restaurant is fantastic and have always put out some of the best taqueria style Mexican food you can buy. The Truck is just as good as the restaurant, with great service.

It was early, around 4:00 p.m., and there were only two people dining inside. They agreed and eventually placed two tables together indoors. My thought was, why was this not offered from the beginning, especially given the heat and how empty the restaurant was? The ambiance was great, but unfortunately, the food was not. I ordered a salad with chicken. The salad was very skimpy, with only two thin slices of apple, two small orange slices, very little feta, and mostly lettuce. The chicken portion was extremely small and was served separately on a plate rather than sliced and placed on the salad as ordered. The other dishes were also small and underwhelming. The burger and fries were nothing special, and the spaghetti was plain and lacked flavor. If you are looking for great ambiance, this may be a nice place to visit. But if you are looking for great food, you may want to consider other options. For a great burger, I would recommend Buckhorn instead. It costs less and is much better.

We found El Capi on Yelp and were impressed by the great reviews. When we walked in, it was completely empty, which made us a little hesitant--but the vibes felt right, so we decided to give it a shot. First impressions? The place is super cute and spotless--huge for me. Even the bathroom was chef's kiss clean (major points!). The server was friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Booths were spacious and spotless. You can order from physical menus or scan a QR code, which is always a nice option. Here's what we ordered: * Caldo de Camarón * Calamari * Spicy Edamame * Two shrimp tacos * One fish taco * Shrimp tostada Everything was seriously delicious. The edamame had a great kick, and the calamari was perfectly cooked--crispy, not rubbery--and paired with a zesty tartar sauce that really elevated the dish. The tacos and tostada were fresh and flavorful. My only critique? The tortillas. That's the one area I'd love to see improved. Handmade or at least warmed on the comal would have really taken the tacos to the next level. Ours felt like they came from a microwave or warmer, which was a bit of a letdown. As for the caldo--it was flavorful and came with a generous side of onion, cilantro, and avocado, which I loved. The shrimp-to-broth ratio was perfect, but I wish there had been more veggies in the soup. A few more chunks of potato, some carrots, maybe a bit of zucchini or even corn would have made it feel more complete. One other win: the beans. My husband couldn't stop raving about them. We're not sure if they were made in-house, but they didn't taste canned, and that's a win in our book. By the time we were leaving, more people were coming in--which was nice to see. I have a feeling El Capi might be a newer spot, and I genuinely hope it takes off. If you're in the area, give them a shot and support a small business with a ton of potential!

This building in Davis sits on a corner and is hot pink, so you can't miss it. They have outdoor, covered seating that was very enjoyable with today's great weather. My favorite thing about lunch today (5/7/26) was the service. The food was good, but the service was excellent. Upon arrival, my first time here I peered into the interior of the restaurant to see if my relative had arrived. I was immediately greeted by a very nice young man behind the counter. I exited the building and sat down at one of their exterior tables so my cousin could easily spot me, and the same very nice young man came out and brought me a menu to review while I was waiting for my cousin to arrive. Once she arrived, we went inside and ordered our meals, and returned to their outside seating. They have an open chips and salsa bar which was great as we waited for our meals. A short while later, another nice young man (with braids) came out to clear the table and offer drink refills. They were both very kind, accommodating and engaging. Great outdoor seating for nice days, and dog-friendly. Already my go-to for Mexican food in town. Love all the artwork on the walls too.

They lacked flavor, and the appearance wasn't very appetizing. Based on other reviews, we wanted to try the carnitas on the side, but were told there would be about a 1.5-hour wait. We also attempted to order a breakfast burrito and were told that if we "really wanted it," they would make it. That response felt a little odd and made us unsure whether it was something they normally offered at that time. We also ordered an al pastor quesadilla. The meat was flavorful and enjoyable, but it only came with lettuce and tomato. There was no sour cream or guacamole included, which was surprising compared to what we're used to receiving with similar dishes elsewhere. The chips served were store-bought rather than house-made. Overall, there were a few good items, particularly the chile relleno and al pastor, but between the strong bleach smell, inconsistent menu experience, and sides that fell short, this wasn't a place that stood out enough for us to return.
