Walking through the doors, we were greeted with a smile and walked to our table immediately. The service started off great with the hostess, to the server assistant, to our main server, Elias. We were asked if we celebrating anything special and we told them we were in fact celebrating my graduation. The cocktail I ordered came promptly a side our apps. As we enjoyed our first course, we were entertained by the piano music in the background. The table service was spot on, as if they were watching our every move and no dish was left on the table that was not being consumed. The entrees were well sized and met or should I say, exceeded our expectations. The filet was so tender I could cut it with my fork. The cheesecake had cloud like texture and was not heavy feeling in our tummies. We were quite pleased with our meal and will be returning in the future.
Very Disappointing and Unfair Surprise Charge We have eaten at C2 Steakhouse several times before, and this was by far our most disappointing experience. We were a party of five and ordered two steaks, along with several sides and other dishes. When we received the bill, we were shocked to see three "Shared Plate" charges at $8 each -- an additional $24. The server never mentioned this charge when we ordered. What makes this even more frustrating is that we ate here just two months ago and were never charged a shared plate fee. If this is a new policy, customers should be clearly informed before ordering, not find out about it only when the bill arrives. I spoke with the manager, and she kindly removed the $24 charge for us this time. I appreciate her handling the situation, but I still feel this policy is unfair when it is not clearly communicated to customers. An $8 charge simply for sharing an entrée feels excessive and honestly comes across as nickel-and-diming customers. We spent a significant amount on our dinner and expected better transparency and customer service from a steakhouse of this level. If you have a new fee, please tell your customers before they order. Don't surprise them with it at the end of the meal. Very disappointing, especially because we have been here before and had a much better experience.
This is a high class, top rate restaurant without the "stiff upper lip," snobby ambiance. Our high school class reunion was held in this hotel, hosted by a stockholder, my classmate. All entreés were beautifully and artfully presented, delicious. Truly a delight to see what others ordered and hear their very positive comments! The server staff were not only efficient and respectful, but all good looking, too!
061625 My mom made reservations for a combined belated Father's Day and birthday celebration for my dad (via Sebastian). Upon walking in, Sebastian told us they were setting up our table and that it would be a few minutes. We told him, "Great!" He came back momentarily, and my brother asked if there would be space for a stroller for our toddler. Sebastian was giddy as he replied, "There's plenty of space." We didn't think much of it--until we followed him directly into a room... that's right, a private room. We were all like, "What...?" It felt like a conference room because it had a TV mounted on the wall and a door with windows. Honestly, it was very surprising. My family and I were all in awe and a bit shocked. The table was presented professionally, and it looked great. Once we got over the surprise, we opened the menu (be warned--it's a super bright LCD screen. From a UX/UI perspective, it would be nice if there were a way to make the brightness less torturous on the eyes). That was honestly my only con for the night. My mom and sister-in-law shared the oysters, and--I'm sorry--but they had foie gras, so I had to order it... and it was DELICIOUS. The orange and the way it was put together--so good. It wasn't very liver-y in taste; the combination of the entire dish with our wine was superb. Our servers (Taylor, assisted by Zach?) were phenomenal. They made the whole experience wonderful, and we felt very well taken care of. I wanted to get a bottle of their Tenuta Il Poggione "Brunello di Montalcino," but they had just sold it to someone else (broken-hearted by that!), so we opted for the Silver Oak "Alexander Valley" 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon instead. I don't remember what the rest of the family ordered, but I had the Delmonico (medium) with truffle butter and asparagus on the side. My steak was cooked perfectly. It was juicy, well-seasoned, and paired wonderfully with the wine. I, of course, didn't finish it (because it was gigantic), so it made for great leftovers! My dad enjoyed his shrimp and crab scampi (he didn't even offer to share!). The restaurant also offered jasmine rice as a side, so my brother ordered that with his steak. We didn't have room for dessert, but they gave my dad a birthday cake, and it was delicious. Overall--I really wasn't expecting much from a restaurant in a casino in the middle of kinda nowhere, but oh boy... was I proven wrong! Their pricing for wagyu meats is definitely cheaper than at Niku or anywhere in SF. I told my folks I'd be interested in trying their wagyu selection next time. To Sebastian, Taylor, and Zach--and to the rest of the employees who helped serve us that night--much mahalo for your warm hospitality and for making our night truly memorable. We still talk about how special you made it, especially for my dad. We look forward to our next visit--and I'm crossing my fingers that the Brunello will be in stock! THANK YOU!!!!
You don't wanna miss this upscale place when visiting Cache Creek. The menu is big and the food is Amazing. When you eat here you are def high rollin'. At least that's the feeling you get by how well choreographed the service is and how expertly the food is prepared. When I want a really good cut of meat cooked just the way I like it this is where my brain and my belly point me. Always a top notch experience!
Wow! All I can say is wow! Highly recommended! I'll keep driving 1.5 anytime. This steak house is TOP TEIR! This is my fourth time dining and they went 4 for 4! Never failed me yet! The consistency of this place is incredible. The ambiance of this restaurant gives a romantic setting. Dim lights, gorgeous decor and lit up Menus to set it off. Our waitress was amazing. She went above and beyond to heighten our experience. MUST ORDER! Caesar Salad! Chicago Ribeye! Sides: Broccoli! Crispy Fingerling Potatoes! Truffle Wild Mushrooms!
Impressed. Honestly didn't expect such a solid dining experience from a casino steakhouse but the food and service genuinely surprised us, in a good way! My husband and I shared the 24oz Prime Angus Ribeye, cooked perfectly medium rare. It was juicy, tender and seasoned well. We paired it with a side of chimichurri, which was just okay and didn't add much to the steak. The day boat scallops were also beautifully cooked, though I found the pineapple emulsion a bit too sweet for my taste. For sides, the cheesy risotto was a standout. It was creamy, rich, and full of flavor. The roasted asparagus was a great complement to the steak, nicely seasoned with a good bite. Appetizer-wise, the Caesar salad with real anchovies was a hit. I personally loved how heavily dressed it was. The soup of the day, a seafood chowder, was a bit of a miss. It was more potato than seafood, and while it came in a hot bowl, the soup itself was just lukewarm. We wrapped up with the Death by Chocolate Cake. It's super rich, decadent, and everything you'd want in a chocolate dessert. Shoutout to our server Mani! He was friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. And yes, they do take your players card. So if you've got comps, you can use them toward the bill, which definitely helps take the sting off the price tag. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely come back to try other cuts of steak and some of the other dishes that caught our eye. Solid spot worth checking out!
I would've given it a five as everyone else loved their dinners, but I didn't love my cheese tray. The jicama was a little too spicy for me and the pineapple was too spicy too. I loved one of the cheeses, but didn't like the other two so maybe it's just me. The crackers were good as were the pecans and it was beautifully presented. The service was impeccable and our waiter was informative and fun. If you go there have the steak, it's a steakhouse. I'm sure the other appetizers were far superior than the one I chose. Give it a try. My husband loved his steak.
Service was quick and attentive. I got seated promptly even on a busy night with no reservation. The food quality was good for the remote area and variety on the menu was pretty good. Got the Delmonico steak with a side of Brussels sprouts. Everything was cooked perfectly. Would come back here or recommend to anyone wanting a steak.
We came here for a celebratory birthday. Staff: staff were great. 1-10, rate 8.5. Attentive. Noted our celebration and brought us a dessert on the house. Special touch. We went to Gordon Ramsey for a celebratory event and didn't get anything, even though they asked. We lowered the score because they didn't have Michelob at the restaurant but they did have it elsewhere in the casino and the effort to fetch it for us was lacking. Food: 1-10, rate a 5. I enjoyed the warm bread with butter. The butter was perfect salt. I'd said that was the highlight of my dinner, which was the complimentary piece of my dinner. Everything else was mediocre. Nothing stood out. The ambience was calm and inviting. We got sat in the curved booth. We had good private conversations in there as opposed to the table. The lighting was enough. Gordon Ramsey was too dark in comparison. It was hard to see what I'm eating. We're nicely spaced from others so you can't really hear too much chatter and focus on your own.
This steakhouse is located inside Cache Creek Casino. We celebrated an early Father's Day dinner here and enjoyed everything we ordered. We ordered a bunch of dishes to share. I also appreciate that the salads and soups can be split so they are easier to share. If you don't like steak, they offer a lot of other options like chicken and seafood.
Didn't know what I was expecting dining at a cache creek casino restaurant, but it sure exceeded my expectations. We had ordered so many appetizers including the foie gras, caviar, seafood tower, and calamari, that but the time we got our steak we were underwhelmed. Not because the steaks weren't good, we had just ate so much that our stomachs were already full. This was my first time dining here so it was nice to have tried all those appetizers. Steak, as you can imagine, is pretty much the same throughout all steakhouses (in my opinion). So we took our leftovers to go. The service was great. Our glasses were never empty. The waiter was very patient with us throughout the whole night, and made good suggestions like when it came to dessert. Unfortunately we had a nut allergy in our party so I didn't get to try the toffee stout pudding. (I think the foie gras has nuts for garnish also). But it was cool to see the sphere chocolate and crème brûlée on fire. C2 was the perfect place to celebrate a birthday and a wedding anniversary. The aesthetic was nice. The light fixtures had a very modern touch to it that I liked. I definitely would not mind coming to dine here again!

This restaurant is located inside Cache Creek Casino in the South tower. The staff was extremely attentive. Our order was precise. Steaks were favorable and didn't need sauce. The lobsters are good size. The Cesar salad was real with anchovies. The bathrooms are serviced frequently which I appreciate. Price is a bit steep but worth it since this restaurant provides a great ambiance. read more
Due to Covid-19, the new wing of the hotel did not open until now with the new restaurants and is located at the end of the casino. Only the sushi and the steak place was open in there. We went to go eat here since we had a $15 and $10 dollar voucher from the casino. The place is an upscale steak house and one thing that was nice was they had lighted menus which I have never seen before. We ordered the oysters and bone marrow as appetizers. My wife ordered the Chilean Sea Bass and I got the flat iron steak medium rare. Overall the food was great and would recommend this. read more

We spent a couple of nights at Cash Creek Casino recently to play golf at YOCHA DEHE. We met several of our friends there and had a great time. One evening, we decided to eat at C2. This is a high-end streak and seafood restaurant and "not inexpensive". The atmosphere and menu were first class. I ordered Roasted Bone Marrow, Beef Carpaccio, and a Lobster Tail. The Bone Marrow was enhanced with a smoked nueske's bacon-bourbon vinaigrette, onion confit, upland cress to be served on artisan toast points. Not something you see very often and when I do, I try to order. This was delicious. The carpaccio was also tasty. Thinly sliced filet mignon, arugula, and whole grain honey mustard aioli I selected a "Trio of Sides to go with the lobster. Small portions of sauteed spinach, sauteed mushrooms and garlic mashed potatoes. This trio provided variety and worked out well. The so called Jumbo Cold Water Lobster Tail (which I had steamed) was delicious ..... but surprisingly too small. Fortunately, I already had had enough to eat. A double expresso and cognac made up my final course!! I must say, while friendly, the service was very slow. Far too much time between ordering and various courses arriving. We spent over 3 hour in the restaurant (and not by choice). While they seemed to be limiting available seating / tables ... it is obvious that they do not have enough staff post covid. read more

The Seafood Tower was fun! Liked, but did not love the King Crab legs. The salmon was delicious, as were Kumo Moto oysters. You could leave out the cold clams and mussels and replace them with more Dungeness Crab. The squid was tasty and the service was excellent. No corkage fee on our champagne was a pleasant surprise! I would love to try a regular dinner there! The desserts were wonderful! read more

We had a great meal with great service and the backlit menus were cool. I had the Australian A5 14oz delmonico cut. My sides were mashed potatoes, mushrooms, and spinach. The steak was amazing one of the best steaks I've had. The sides were just ok and I couldn't believe they didn't have creamed spinach. My wife had the 10oz filet. It was cooked perfectly. Her sides were cheese risotto and spinach. Of course I had to put a tax on the risotto because it was the best of the sides we had. All of the breads were warm and fresh. And service was top notch. Oh yea and this may be weird but I disliked my steak being on a black plate made the steakhouse steak vibe go down a notch. Also thanks for the free birthday desert. Where do I even begin?? How I never knew this steakhouse was here is beyond me, but so glad we were introduced! First of all, u need to ask for James to be your server! He was amazing! Attentive, helpful, and all around charming. The menu is very unique. The smoked gem salad is exactly that! Remove the lid and experience the smoke that's released!! The calamari was to die for! It had tempura green beans, onions, zucchini, and summer squash all tossed with a mustard seed sauce. Our meal was way better than most steakhouses we frequent!. My husbands pork chop was so juicy and flavorful and I will be ordering it next time! Steak was also delicious. Just take my word for it, u will NOT be disappointed!! Order the cheesecake for dessert! And Ohhhh I almost forgot to mention that delicious chimichurri!!!! read more

Had the most amazing anniversary dinner here. The service was top notch, food was absolutely delicious and the portion sizes were bigger than I thought. We were unfortunately too full for dessert but our waitress Ali packed us up a dessert to take home. I will be recommending this place to everyone now. It's a hidden gem! read more

Thanks Vivi for a fun wonderful dinner. She along with all of the staff are genuinely nice and personable. Our assistant server James made sure our water glasses were never empty, and the bread basket was full. Tables are spread apart enough you feel like you do not have to raise your voice to hear each other. It was a cozy atmosphere for even a large restaurant. Comfortable booth against the wall, nice lighting, not too dark. The menus are lit up to make it easier to read. I guess if the sun had set, it would be a bit darker than it was. I was excited that they had bone marrow as an appetizer, love having bone marrow on toast points. Since we wanted to make sure we didn't order too much, we split a Caesar salad. The bread basket had a variety, Parker rolls, raisin walnut bread and parmigiana crisps. Went straight for the Parker rolls, served with butter that had some Pink Himalayan salt sprinkled on it. Devoured 4 rolls in probably 10 bites, yummy! They even started us with an Amuse Bouchée of seared Tuna with ponzu sauce, clean and delish. You could taste the freshness. Bone came out, and it was more than just roasted bone marrow, it had bacon and peppers and water cress too. Wait there's more, a little square containers and this wonderfully sweet balsamic sautéed onions that were amazing on top of the toast laden roasted marrow, peppers, and water cress. It is one of the best bone marrow dishes I have ever had! The combination was so well balanced, I was impressed. First off a buttery baguette with bone marrow on top is usually wonderful alone. Add peppers, water cress and those magical onions, WOW! If you like bone marrow , your gonna love this dish, I highly recommend ordering this! Timing of dishes well done also, after we finished our bone marrow appetizer, they brought us warm scented towels in which to cleans our hands and face of the decedent bone marrow dish. Very nice touch. Main course was served along with all of our sides. Babe had a nice slug of tenderloin, Oscar style, cooked to a very nice medium rear. I had a plate placed in front of me with a medium rear Delmonico steak and lobster. There was drawn butter and a light tarragon flavored cream sauce for dipping the lobster in. Butter is my choice, but the cream sauce was good also. Steak was tender and juicy. We got a few sides to try since it was our first experience here. We had the grilled asparagus, sautéed mushrooms and cheesy risotto. Favorite was the mushrooms, tender whole button shrooms, delicious. The grilled asparagus was quite large in size and was not tender. Cheesy risotto was cooked well, but was not the right choice for our meals. Maybe with something else it would be a nice accompaniment. To summarize our dinner, we really enjoyed the service, food was good. For me the standout dish was the bone marrow appetizer. I would go back just for that. Steaks were good, but we have had better tasting steaks for the same price. I will go back to try more dishes, it is that good. Can't wait to see what else will make me say mmmmmmmmmm. Till next time read more

When I say hidden gem..... That is an understatement! This is the best steakhouse I have ever been to! Their food was absolutely amazing. They are pretty busy (and rightfully so), so my husband and I ate at the bar. From the greater to the manager the customer service was 10 stars! The food presentation is above and beyond and it taste even more amazing. If I could give this place 10 stars I would. The bartender was so cool Im glad we did eat at the bar. We will definitely be back. A special shout out to the manager who truly deserves all the accolades. If you haven't eaten here you are missing out! read more
This place is amazing. First the host was nicely polite welcome us. We were a party of four. At our table everybody the servers were greet us too with a smile. Then, we had Manny my gosh he is beyond outstanding. His knowledge of the menu from the food & drinks made our choices easy to choose. Manny made us feel so comfortable & not rushing us to order (since the restaurant was about to close), we wanted him to stay with us dinning. He made our time so fun & enjoyable. We THANK YOU a BUNCH for the Great laugh. The food was on point, every single item was exquisite. C2 does have an excellent chef. I am for sure coming back for dessert, didn't had the chance to try them. We didn't want to hold the staff since restaurant was closing. I bet those dessert are delish. If anyone wants to have a special celebration and have nice cozy quality time with your love ones. This can be one a place for you to enjoy excellent food, excellent drinks and outstanding services. 5 STAR Service and Food! What we had: Drinks: draft IPA and Coppola Pinot Noir Starters: Roasted Bone Marrow ($15)buttery , melt in your mouth , savory and roasted with bacon, so sinfully delicious!!! served with slices of toasted baguette. Well suited for 2 individuals. But a note to myself: it's very filling due to high fat content. I personally would have been stuffed with just this dish and a salad. Caesar salad: Freshly made dressing and shaved Parmesan over crisp cold romaine . Garnished with 2 pickled anchovies and garlic croutons. Entrees: Chicago cut prime rib ($65)- huge, tender and perfectly cooked to medium rare. Chilean Sea Bass: (special offer $42) Skillet fried thick cut of fish over a bed of risotto. I didn't come to a steakhouse wanting fish but when the waiter offered it I couldn't say no.. and I'm so glad i chose it!!! Special thanks to our awesome waiter who was very attentive and friendly.. he also brought out a courtesy dessert (panna cotta) for our anniversary ! read more
