I walked in and sat at the counter to order something to go as a gift and a glass of wine. The girl behind the bar was too busy talking to a server guy with curly blonde hair. Both employees saw and glanced my direction and did not come by to help, welcome, or take my order. I walked out for call and when I returned the bar tender turned her back and continued talking. My wife and I supported this established quite often especially during the pandemic. Their food is good but this is not the first time the greeting or service has been horrible. Im done with this place. I recommend everyone find another location...its worth the drive.

4 stars for food and 3 stars for service . The food here was very good. The restaurant doesn't look too big from the outside but it actually has ample dining inside with bar counter seating as well as patio seating. We ordered Sottocenere pizza. linguinette alle vongole, and pappardelle alla boscaiola. I loved the Sottocenere pizza the most. The combination of mushrooms, mozzarella and truffle oil on this delicious pizza crust was fabulous. The pappardelle alla boscaiola very flavorful and the pappardelle was cooked perfectly. I felt the linguinette alle vongole was good but a bit too salty. Service was ok, could have been better . After my water was refilled, it tasted differently from the first glass I had tasted. There was a disgusting after taste which I immediately pointed out to our waiter. His response to me was that he could give me a new water but it would taste the same because it all came from the same place. I was annoyed by his response and just told him to forget it as we were about to pay for our bill and I had my water bottle in the car. But I felt strongly that he should have just believed me, apologize politely and just give me a new glass of water. So unfortunately that left a negative memory for me. If I'm in Santa Barbara again , I would dine there again because the food was very good.

When visiting the Santa Barbara area we decided to stop by Ca' Dario. When walking into the established we were welcomed in right away. The ambiance of the restaurant was classy and clean. We decided to sit outside in the terrace because the weather was beautiful that day. They not only brought out bread for us but also asked if we'd like a second helping of it. We ordered the Margherita (Pizza), Prosciutto Cotto (Pizza), and Fettuccine Alfredo with added Chicken. For drinks I got the unsweetened passion fruit iced tea which had a nice flavor and was very refreshing. All the food was delicious but the service was even better. They were very attentive and friendly. This was the perfect restaurant experience. Keep up the great work Ca' Dario!

Excellent service. Delicious food. Ca' Dario Cucina Italiana in Goleta is an upscale yet casual Italian restaurant known for its authentic Northern Italian cuisine and warm, "Little Italy" neighborhood vibe. While located in a strip mall (near the Camino Real Marketplace), the interior is designed to feel transportive with white-tablecloth touches and a lively atmosphere.

Absolutely amazing food , The atmosphere is meek , clean , and very respectable , Busy tonight but service was quick. Great wine selection i recommend , The dry Riesling if you like white wine . The wine portions are generous. Our server Scott was amazing , very friendly and personal and sweet ! He also sells the most delightful candles , support local !! All the food was amazing. Insanely fresh seafood , im actually not really a fan of mussels but these ones were tender and sweet . The lamb rack was to die for , amazing pasta cooked to perfection. You can tell the chefs really put a lot of effort and love into the meals they cook So glad this is so close to me , definitely will be a special occasion regula

Excellent service, but overpriced salty food...our waitress was really nice and attentive, checking on us quite often, but I think there prices are on the high end, and the food was a little too salty.

nothing beats a delicious ravioli paired with an entire bottle of pinot noir to kick off the galentines dinner we had at Ca' Dario!! the service was so beyond sweet and helpful in making selections and navigating the menu, and the vibes were unmatched. good food & good energy, highly recommend checking out this spot in Goleta!

I am visiting from out of town and found myself looking for a place to eat that was typically after lunch hours but before dinner. I was lucky to find this spot. Everyone was very nice. The manager behind the bar was knowledgeable and friendly. Complimentary bread to start. Ambiance was nice, everything seemed very clean and fresh. Bruschetta was good. I would recommend putting some balsamic over the top. Don't forget to mention happy hour pricing!

Tiny amount of to go food for $30!

I have tried to support this place as much as I can over the years, because we need some good restaurants on this side of town. The food IS consistently good here. But I have had it with the greediness! I ordered their Tortellacci pasta tonight 'to go' for dinner, and this is what I got. I put my hand in this picture for size reference. And my hands are quite small! This was a TINY leftovers size tin that was only about a QUARTER full. It is ridiculous to pay $30 for an entree, and to still be super hungry after eating it. That's the bottom line here. It took me about 5 minutes to eat this little bit of pasta (the tiny bites of ham seem like just a garnish), and no bread or anything came with this meal. (It's actually a huge stretch to call this a meal.) I know prices are high everywhere, but $30 for an appetizer size amount of PASTA is way over the top. And I am still so hungry. You may have just lost a loyal customer for good.

    Affogato!

A lovely Christmas Eve dinner for our small family Great quality and hospitality. We went big on the desserts at the end.

The food tasted horrible. The pizza was bland, the pasta here tasted like chemicals. Also the calamari was dry and fries were frozen!

I love checking out new wineries I haven't been to, and came across this one on Tik Tok. There's ample parking here with other small businesses in this little plaza. Such as Captain Fatty's Brewery and Green Star coffee. The winery itself is located around the corner once you drive in. Look for the signage directing you towards the back. They have a nice outdoor patio area, but I chose to sit inside on my visit. I was the only person there most likely because it was a weekday. I decided to do a tasting of the reds. It was $30, which seemed a little high but the wine is from the Santa Rita Hills region. Anyone who knows about STA. is aware that they have the best Pinots. I enjoyed each tasting and Julie was really good at explaining each pour. The Pinot and Syrah/Grenache/Mourvèdre were my favorites. I also appreciate that I didn't get a headache after sampling the wines. That's a huge plus! Overall, I had a nice experience here. I would love to come back and try their wine specials and listen to live music on a Sunday Funday afternoon.

We had gone there to celebrate our anniversary, and it was such a great spot. We timed our reservation perfectly so that we were able to see the sunset over the ocean. As if that wasn't enough, we also spotted little bunnies hopping through the plants, which made my 6-year-old daughter's evening. She couldn't stop smiling! The meal started with complimentary fresh tomatoes served with an incredible seasoned salt for dipping. My daughter couldn't get enough of it. The house-made focaccia was easily one of the best breads I've ever had. Warm, fluffy, and paired with the whipped ricotta, it was absolutely amazing. If you come here, this is a MUST to order. We also shared the Festa Del Mar, which was packed with fresh seafood and was a very generous portion - perfect for sharing. The roasted carrots were also good. For drinks, we tried the Siren of the Sea, Intermezzo, and the Marisella Old Fashioned. The Old Fashioned was served with a beautiful monogrammed ice cube featuring an "M." All the drinks were good and they did not hold back on the alcohol. Our waiter was incredibly attentive, friendly, and super nice throughout the evening. He even offered to take our picture at the table and did such a great job at it too. The service definitely matched the quality of the food. We'll definitely be back here the next time we're in Santa Barbara. I'm still craving that house-made focaccia and the whipped ricotta. Soooo good!

Rating: 6/10…read more Ambiance is gorgeous, with a beautiful ocean view and great romantic lighting. However, service was severely lacking and slow, and the food was expensive for the portions and not the best. We ordered the focaccia with whipped ricotta, crudo, spicy rigatoni, and clam pasta. The focaccia was warm and crispy and contrasted well with the creamy, cheesy ricotta. The crudo was the best item and was fresh and well-seasoned. Pastas were underwhelming. Super small portions (we probably had about 2-3 mouthfuls per person per dish) for the price point. The rigatoni was slightly bland and could've used more salt, but the spice was perfect as someone who likes spicy foods. The clam pasta was a good lighter option but could have used more umami taste. Service was also really slow, which staff did tell us was due to them being understaffed. Overall, we paid $140 before tax for this meal, and it didn't fill us up. Gorgeous venue but I don't think I'd recommend this place as a must-visit restaurant in SB.
