Prime rib lunch portion
Trina B.

Attended here for our company holiday lunch about 2 weeks ago and returned again for Happy Hour bar bites while family was in town. Both servers were very nice and made our experience a positive one. The restaurant is spacious and had a number of booths , tables and the bar area gives a nice upscale feel with a nice aesthetic. I got the grouper sandwich for lunch we tried the lobster dip which was a hit and the Brussel sport. Lunch portions are generous and I needed a to go box on both Visits. Lots of options from salads , salmon , prime rib and reasonably priced. The truffle fries were great and on the happy hour visit the star was espresso martini which is offered at $9 !! That never happens and it was well balanced of flavor whereby the drink was not overpowered with liquor. We tried the chocolate cake and it tasted like it was old and had been sitting for days. We didn't eat it and thought it had to be an off day. Great location in Alpharetta off Windward Pkwy east to find off GA 400.

Connors Steakhouse offers a fabulous happy hour with great drink and food specials. Our go-to order is the **signature prime rib sliders**--perfectly cooked, tender meat with crispy onions and cheese on a warm roll. They really get the balance just right. My husband enjoys their wide variety of whiskeys, while I stick with the delicious martinis, which are always well made. The bar is usually pretty crowded, but in a good way, with lots of lively conversation and energy. The bartenders are attentive and friendly, even when it's busy. I'm giving four stars for now only because we haven't tried many of their other menu options yet--but based on our experiences so far, there's definitely room for this to become a five-star favorite.

To whom it may concern at Connors Steak & Seafood Alpharetta: I strongly suggest someone at the corporate level reviews what happened because the experience was shockingly below any acceptable standard especially for a group reservation of 20 people. Service was unbelievably slow, disorganized, and inattentive. Plates took so long to arrive we genuinely questioned if they forgot we existed. When the food finally came out, it was overly salty and poorly prepared. For a milestone event that should have felt celebratory, we instead spent the night frustrated and disappointed. We selected Connors expecting professionalism and quality. What we received was chaos, poor execution, and absolutely no sense of hospitality. This was a special evening we can never redo, and I regret choosing this restaurant. I will be sharing this feedback publicly and directly because guests booking special occasions deserve to know. To my audience: If you're looking for the perfect place to ruin the vibes of a once in a lifetime celebration, congratulations, you've found it. We hosted our rehearsal dinner here. A table of 20 and the service moved like they were aging the steaks in real time at the table. The food finally showed up and tasted like someone dropped it in a salt mine and said "good luck." Nothing about this said celebration, it felt like punishment. Wish we had gone to Ruth's Chris, because at least they know the difference between "special occasion" and "we gave up."

A great upper-scale restaurant. Clean, sophisticated atmosphere. The staff were very pleasant and every waiter smiled and said good evening throughout the experience. Drinks were good and priced well for the price point of the restaurant. I got the chicken piccata. It was actually a thick piece of chicken which took away from the traditional thin-sliced dish. The calamari was disappointing, the pieces were thick and we had to ask for marinara. My friend got the lime shrimp, he said the shrimp were dry. I'd be willing to give Connors another shot because the staff were nice and the restaurant was decorated well.

I really enjoyed my experience at Connors! I had the filet mignon, with creamed spinach, and the raspberry cocktail which were all 10/10s. The interior is very classy and clean, and the service was great--our server was very sweet and attentive! My steak was cooked to a perfect medium temperature, and the creamed spinach was very rich and filling. I would recommend those dishes!! There was also plenty of free parking spots, which was a plus. I definitely would come back again!

We had a huge group for a birthday and were there for multiple hours and the staff was absolutely amazing and accommodating to us. My only complaint is since we had a large group, we had to sit at separate tables so appetizers were separated and obviously couldn't all sit together.

Had a nice experience at Connors while on our way to drop off our daughter at camp. We are not from the area & this was a decision we made on a whim. Glad we did... the food took a little bit to come to the table but when it did we were not disappointed. The steak was tender & juice - cooked to perfection! The trout was fresh & grilled to a perfect flaky texture. The baked cod was juicy & extra delicious w/the ritz cracker breading. The side were also very good. Glad we gave this place a shot!

Strawberry shortcake and proof there is God!

The food is absolutely amazing. The service was wonderful and the ambience is actually very nice. Seriously one of the best steaks I've ever eaten ,you could almost knife and today I came back and I crabcakes also amazing! However, if you come, you have to get the strawberry shortcake because that makes you believe in God!

Ribeye with the Boursin and fried onion topping. Side of sautéed mushrooms and brown rice pilaf.

Great date night out! Had a reservation on a Saturday evening and we were seated immediately. Service was quick and the food came out pretty quickly too. We started with the tuna appetizer which was ice cold and delicious. We both ordered steaks for dinner. I got the strip with the espresso rub. YUM. It also comes w a Demi glacé sauce but I liked it better with just the dry rub. Husband got the ribeye with the Boursin cheese/onion topping AND the mushrooms. It was a lot of cheese (for me) and took away from the taste of the meat IMO. Husband said he'd just do the mushrooms next time. Steaks also came with salads (love when salads are served on ice cold plates!!) and a side. I got the baked potato and an extra side of Brussels. Loved the crispness of the Brussels! Husband got the brown rice and enjoyed it. Overall a great experience and we will be back soon as I want to try some other dishes!

Definitely make sure you have reservations if coming for dinner. They have seating at the bar but it's first come first serve. So waited about 30 mins for a seat. Our waiter Jerry was nice and helpful with suggestions. I had the Whiskey Burst for drink, although good, was not a lot to drink for the price of $14. I had the lobster crab bisque which was good but cold when it came out so it had to be warmed up which delayed eating. I had the 6 ounce filet mignon with a loaded baked potato. The meal was nice and cooked well, but we did wait a decent amount for food than expected. Overall the restaurant is nice and the food was good.

Wow! Last week had opportunity to dine at restaurant. This really is a delicious steakhouse and I was surprised by some of the mixed reviews. But you know, opinions are subjective so I'm giving my review on my first time dining here for a corporate lunch. First impressions of the interior design is that it's meaningfully decorated with warm tones, modern colors with beautiful chandeliers above. There is dim lighting, but not too dark where you cannot see the menu. The hostesses were very helpful and inviting when you enter the foyer. We had a reservation so our group of six was seated and we ordered a variety of items appetizers from the menu. We first ordered the lobster dip, shrimp voodoo and truffle deviled eggs which were all very flavorful. My favorite was the shrimp voodoo with just enough spice to dance on your palate. The warm bread butter rolls were a nice pre-dinner snack to pair with wine and appetizers. I had to limit myself because the rolls were addictive. Now for the main entrées, we are in a steakhouse so let's try the STAR of the restaurant. Our party ordered steaks and sides for mains. I had the ribeye steak and at the suggestion of our waiter Jayden added the espresso rub with demi-glace. I was presently surprised how that enhance the flavor of the steak with just enough subtle char flavor from the dusted espresso. Also, my steak was cooked to the perfect medium super juicy and flavorful. I could not eat it at all took it home later the next day it was still very juicy and good. I also had the baked potato and grilled asparagus for typical steak sides, but were very good. During the holidays they had specialty drinks so I tried the ember spice and it was tasty! Remind you of a grown-up apple cider spiked cocktail and it paired well with the richness of the steak. It's too bad I don't live in the area, but if I'm traveling in the area I will definitely have to enjoy that steak again! It's worth trying if want to dine at a quality steakhouse that won't break the bank! You won't be disappointed.

Super impressed with the social hour i was treated with such high quality by david the bartender i would come back just because how nice he made my experience. Highly recommend

Lobster Dip

We came back and it was a little disappointing this time! My boyfriend had just come a few weekends before on his birthday with a large group, he said his "Pittsburgh" steak was the best one he has ever had. So we came back for it! Unfortunately we must have had a different chef, because it was not the same. Basically raw in the middle instead of medium. We sent it back and it was okay the second time out. The lobster dip was phenomenal though, and drinks good as usual! Our server Lihee was very attentive and made sure his order was correct.

We were surprised with a birthday card signed by staff and fresh flowers, which was such a thoughtful touch. It was our first time dining at Oak, and our server, Zuri, was fantastic. He took the time to explain the different cuts of steak and recommend some of the most popular sides, which we really appreciated. We started with the bread service. I loved the touch of salt on top of the roll--it was actually my favorite part. For our appetizer, we ordered the calamari, which came with artichokes, cherry peppers, garlic butter, and sweet chili sauce. As someone who loves artichokes, I especially enjoyed those bites, and the overall flavor was good. That said, the sweet chili became a bit overwhelming toward the end of the dish. One additional detail I loved about the calamari was the cheesecloth wrapped around the lemon. It was such a thoughtful touch, and it's the kind of small detail that really elevates the dining experience. For our entrée, we shared the 12 oz. Filet Mignon cooked medium, along with the mac and cheese and the Brussels sprouts and cauliflower (without the red onion, cilantro, or sweet chili). The chef kindly sliced the steak for us, but it arrived a little too rare for my preference. The staff quickly corrected it, and to make up for it, they also brought us a side of cream corn, which was absolutely delicious. Overall, everything tasted great. For dessert, we were treated to a complimentary panna cotta, which was a lovely surprise. We also ordered the S'mores Baked Alaska--a brownie topped with graham cracker and ice cream, covered in meringue, then set ablaze with bourbon. The presentation was amazing and definitely a highlight of the evening. The flavor was good, although it was a bit difficult to cut into, which made it slightly less enjoyable for me. My boyfriend, however, loved it. The ambiance was wonderful. The booth seating felt intimate and comfortable, and I enjoyed the open-kitchen concept. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience. The staff was incredibly kind, the food was delicious, and the thoughtful birthday touches made the evening memorable. I will definitely be back!

First, we got the feeling the server was over eager to sell us a bottle of wine. My partner doesn't drink, so he opted for water and I opted for a half bottle. It was a bit pushy, but we payed it no mind. Once brought out and poured, I moved the bottle further as to not accidentally knock it over and I guess by habit closed the bottle, then proceeded to the salad bar. The server came to find me in line to ask why I've moved the bottle, then proceeded to tell me that the wine needs to breathe so he'll re-open the bottle. Personally didn't need a lecture on how wine needs to breathe, I'm well aware, nor do I find it appropriate to chase me down in line over it, but okay I let it go as well and thanked him for his help. Everything else was great, until the check came. I guess there was an issue with the card we used and different server very discretely brought it to our attention. Of course we're embarrassed, but grateful for the discreetness. Mind you, we've been here many times and have never had any issues before, just inadvertently gave an old card. I grabbed my purse to provide a different card and the initial server decided to comment loudly to my partner something about where'd you get lucky enough to find her as if to say women don't pay. I was shocked and mortified! At that point I simply replied that it all comes out of the same accounts anyway, just a different name on the card. The comment was well beyond inappropriate, brought attention unnecessarily, and was absolutely unwarranted. At least we've been together for more than a decade, I can't even imagine if this was someone's first date! We didn't need to offer an explanation, but at that point we just wanted to be done and get out as quickly as possible. We'll likely dine here again, but definitely hope we never come across this particular server again.

I ordered the Baratta which came with sourdough bread. The Baratta was good, but there was about a half cup of chopped parsley on the plate, which was very odd. It was like a parsley salad, which is inedible. Parsley should be used as a garnish or a sprinkle as a flavoring, not as a main component like a salad. Save room for dessert!…read more The food at Foundation Eatery was exceptional. As a self-described foodie, I'm always searching for restaurants that offer creative, thoughtfully prepared dishes with plenty of variety. Foundation exceeded every expectation. I ordered every dish the staff recommended, and each one was outstanding. Julio provided attentive, knowledgeable service, and you can tell Chef Mel and his wife, Sandy, have poured their hearts into every aspect of the dining experience. Their attention to detail is remarkable--they genuinely care that every bite is exactly as it should be, and it shows. We started with the Crisp Spanish Octopus and the mushroom ravioli. Julio also suggested adding an order of bread to soak up the incredible sauces, and I'm so glad he did--not a drop was left on the plate. For my entrée, I chose the scallops, and they were cooked perfectly. I even skipped most of the accompanying beans to save room for dessert, which turned out to be one of the best decisions of the night. The blueberry olive cake with blueberry sorbet was phenomenal and the perfect ending to an unforgettable meal. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and refreshingly free of distractions, allowing the food and conversation to take center stage. If you're looking for a memorable dining experience with incredible food, outstanding hospitality, and an environment where every detail matters, Foundation Eatery is a must-visit. I can't wait to come back. PS. I can't believe they have a burger on the menu. I'd try that based on everything else!

Lots of options for those who love the fishery part of the concept and just as many choices for those that don't. We ordered the bruschetta and enjoyed their take that used fig jam, prosciutto and balsamic glaze instead of the more traditional tomato base. They have house made focaccia that when brought to the table we instantly regretted having ordered the bruschetta, thinking we overdid the bread thing. But we both quickly changed our minds and consumed both with little guilt... I would go back just for the focaccia alone and wish they sold it by the loaf! Pastas are made onsite but they get the gluten free version from a different supplier to avoid risk of cross contamination. Hubby had the wild boar pasta. I had the pork chop. My chop was perfectly grilled and moist. I asked for the marsala sauce on the side since I don't like mushrooms themselves, but enjoy the flavor they can add. The weakest link was the mashed potatoes, served in two round scoops reminiscent of school cafeteria lines. Other than the shape, there was nothing memorable nor particularly flavorful about them. Next time I would try a different side and keep the chop. We didn't save room for dessert this time but will definitely get some next time. And there will definitely be a next time. Moderate price point, not an everyday spot, but shouldn't be saved just for special occasions either.

Well, after stopping by Coletta's for happy hour, we wanted to check out Rena's which was…read morerecommended by a co-worker. The vibe here was buzzing on a Friday evening which seemed promising. We opted to sit at the bar which I do NOT recommend if you plan on eating. It is extremely tight seating and the bartenders aren't not trained to serve food or have menu knowledge. The lack of the kitchen staff culinary skills became evident when looking at the menu with many seafood/pasta items being served with one sauce- a goopy cornstarch'ish lemon butter sauce. We wanted to try the scampi appetizer with their house made pasta - sans dairy which meant no lemon butter sauce. That seemed to throw a wrench and there was much back and forth between the BT to the kitchen explaining what that meant aka do not cook the food with butter use olive oil- not so complicated, right? 30 minutes later - despite the kitchen staff not being busy- reminder, we are sitting at the bar and watch the cooks looking at their cellphones instead of working... The small portion of a couple shrimp and scallops arrive. They were panned seared- highly seasoned but tasty. Pasta arrived dry ? Huh? Who serves dry pasta- ugh? I asked for olive oil again which never appeared despite a manager hearing the request. So, moving along, we decided to try the calamari. It came out much faster but the portion was enough for 8-10 people. BT- oh, I forgot to tell you it is such a large portion... Maybe offer a half portion? It was okay- nothing amazing except the quantity. So disappointed- we had high hopes that the vibe matched the food quality.
