A great upscale Italian Steakhouse. My friend got the Ribeye and said it was fantastic and nice and juicy. It doesn't come with anything which is a little disappointing so make sure you order additional sides. I got the pasta primavera. It was good, but was a little boring. Drinks were great and the staff were fantastic. We sat at the bar which was nice and you can order the entire menu. The restaurant and bathrooms were all clean. I'll start by saying that the food was good! I'm giving 3* for the overall experience. We had a late dinner reservation for 8pm. I was already hungry which added to the annoyance when we weren't sat until 9:30. Two other large parties got sat and a few smaller parties. We mentioned they must have double booked but they said they didn't and people were just lingering. Still thinking they may have double booked. We finally get sat and we asked for bread right away. Didn't get it. Ordered apps and our entrees. Apps came and went. Asked for bread again. Bread finally comes with our entrees. I had the Gorgonzola filet and it was delicious and cooked perfectly. The mashed potatoes I ordered were also delicious. My husband got the lamb and said it was very flavorful and good. His favorite side was the spinach. I went with my partner for our anniversary and we had a good experience. My partner ordered the surf and turf and I ordered the NY strip 12 oz both were great and although the temperature was off the first time for his filet, Jaime was more than happy to fix that for us! Visited during Alpa Restaurant Week, which was also our first time at Luci's. Nice atmosphere, and our server and his "team" were very good. Food was also solid, however pretty pricey. We returned to Luci's and discovered more delicious items. The calamari and seafood fra diavolo pasta were amazing and are must orders- I definitely want to try more of their pastas next. I had the burrata and beet salad again which was great as usual, but unfortunately the portion shrank and pricing went up which was disappointing to see. Now on to the steak- last time, I had the Carrara strip wagyu which was tough and stringy. This time, they replaced the Carrara wagyu with a Japanese A5 Kagoshima wagyu which I was excited to try. Unfortunately, it was so fatty that I couldn't eat more than a couple pieces. I took the rest home as leftovers and took a photo of the refrigerated pieces. Instead of a marbleized steak, it was full of fat chunks- no wonder it was hard to stomach! As much as we love Luci's, I'm giving up on the wagyu choices until they source higher quality wagyu and will stick to my favorites: calamari, brussels, fra diavolo pasta, and burrata salad. read more

I enjoyed the mushroom ravioli. It was very rich and flavorful. The Caesar salad was notable for its authentic prominence of anchovy flavor. Please be aware of this if you find the taste of anchovies offputting. The pan fried, giant asparagus was fine but considering asparagus is out of season a better vegetable choice could have been offered. The cheesecake dessert had pleasantly surprising hints of ricotta, the main ingredient for authentic New York cheesecake. Service was adequate. I liked the layout of the private dining room. What bothered me the most? No bread! In any Italian restaurant, bread is the promissory note that indicates the rest of the meal is about to follow. WINNER!!! We have been 3 times in 30 days and every meal was awesome. Our host Steven is so attentive full of suggestions. It is a REAL restaurant!!! Not just a place to eat. The menu is diverse enough in style and price point so that it does not need to be a special occasion place. It is also nice enough and service levels are impressive enough to BE a special occasion place, which is a wonderful balance. The giant lobster tail finished in a very light tempura style is decadent ...and expensive, but totally worth the splurge. The steaks ( which have clearly become undependable in many locations - quality being very different now than it was in the years pre-Covid ) are not overpriced and are consistently excellent. My wife and I decided to try Luci's again after our first dinner there for Valentine's Day. A preset menu that had some nice options to choose from. We decided to try a nice bottle of wine from a vineyard in Napa that we have tried to go to on past trips. The waiter came back and said they are out of stock, so we suggested another bottle, much less expensive that our first choice. He returned to let us know they are out of stock on that one also, but suggested a nice bottle for $80, so we decided to try it. After sipping our first glass, he came to the table and stated he gave us the wrong bottle and that the one we have is $280. He said we have opened it already and he spoke to his manager about the mistake. The price would stand because we were looking for the first wine choice that was more than the $80 bottle we thought we were getting. Knowing restaurant margins are high on wine, there was no offer to discount the bottle at all. Not wanting to ruin the night with terrible customer service we continued our dinner. The food came out barely warm and was average at best. I would not recommend Luci's for the food or service as there are much better options within a few minutes from there. read more

This restaurant has been on a list for awhile and I finally had the chance to dine here a few weeks ago. I went on a Sunday and we did have a reservation. The inside is decorated beautifully, definitely a great date night spot. For an appetizer we order the wagyu meatballs which were absolutely amazing! For my entree I ordered the wagyu steak and frites which was good, they will not allow you to substitutes for frites for any other side. My friend ordered the grilled pork chops and mashed potatoes which was very good. Staff was very attentive and friendly. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. read more

We walked in to a vibrant greeting from the host and hostess. The ambience was nice, music was playing. It felt really good. We wanted to have a drink at the bar before our reservation. The bartender was very confused and alone, and it took quite a while to get my drink, which was simply a rum on the rocks. We were seated at a very nice table. It took a little bit for our server to come up to us, but he was quite polite and knowledgeable. The service pretty much went downhill from there. The food was amazing every single bite of it. The service made it a little bit disappointing. We were celebrating, so we were having fun and of course the live music was terrific. When the waiter finally took our order, he never did show us the beautiful steaks. He just came over, and said, what would you like? It was very premature. He did end up having his partner bring the display, which he didn't seem to know what he was doing and frankly, I thought he was going to drop it! Overall, everybody working in there looked pretty scattered. When we got the seafood tower the presentation was awful. I suggest that you redo that whole idea. The lobster and crab were good but they were out of shrimp and the oysters were very tiny, and rather flavorless. The ceviche seemed like an afterthought where it was placed on the tower. It was delicious, but it really needed more garnishments. Finally, we asked to take leftovers home. Which included almost half of the $100 steak. They packed it up, but forgot to put the beautiful bread and olive oil side dish in there, and they forgot to pack our steak. read more

Luci's Steakhouse is one of my new favorites and I love how close and convenient it is in Alpharetta! As soon as you walk in, it's a swanky and luxurious ambience. My friend and I came for an early dinner on a Saturday night at 5 PM and we had the whole private dining room to ourselves in the beginning. I highly recommend an early reservation, especially on the weekends. During peak hours each dining room filled up and it was a full house, however, we had excellent service being one of the only tables there at first. There is a main dining room, the bar by the entryway, and two private dining rooms to the left. The main dining room featured a live Jazz musician and that was a really nice touch. The service was top notch and we had three servers assisting us at our table. They brought out a tray of raw steaks to show the marbling and the different cuts of meat, as well as the disply of a lobster special. We started the night with cocktails, and I had the gift of the rose lemon flavored cocktail, and my friend had the new fashioned and the presentation was stellar as it came out in a smoke-filled display box. They brought out a complementary bread basket of sourdough bread fresh baked and a side of tomato oil dip. I would've preferred a traditional butter or olive oil and balsamic vinaigrette dip but I'm not a huge tomato fan. For our appetizer, we ordered the crabcake and it came as one midsized crabcake to share. It had a really nice flavor and was well garnished. We then indulged in a split portion of the Luci's salad---lightly dressed and very fresh. For our main entrée, we split the New York strip steak cooked medium with a side of buttermilk whipped potatoes. The steak was delicious and garnished with a blue cheese topping and the potatoes were very creamy and whipped--certainly one of the best I've had! The steak was really well cooked and nicely marinated. For dessert, we ended the night with a delicious Voga gelato in rum raisin. Excellent gelato if you've never tried it. I highly recommend Luci's and look forward to my next visit. read more

Our server was Kevin and he was exceptional as well as the managers, which is why I'm giving 5 stars. We ordered lobster bisque (could use more lobster and be hotter but decent flavor), calamari & zucchini (small portion but decent), delmonico steak (delicious!, asked for medium well and it was closer to well done, but the guys tore it up anyway), sea bass (decent after adding salt, love the sauce, but pistachio bits not necessary in our opinion; this is not my favorite kind of fish so I will try something else next time), mashed potatoes (buttery and goodness), lobster mac and cheese (everyone liked it), brussel sprouts (our favorite), truffle fries (our friend's go to and he finished them up), cheesecake (normally my go to but our friends liked this one more), feature dessert was strawberry shortcake (hubby's go to and I liked it), latte (looked like it was good), coffee (needed to be hotter especially after adding creamer, but it was good). There's a big room in the front that looks like it would be a good size for an event. It's close to us and the ambience is nice. I would definitely come back. We visited this restaurant to treat a friend of mine who was visiting from out of town. This is a great restaurant. You will be impressed by its sophistication. The wait staff are dressed in white coats. You are greeted with smiles. Their menu is quite italian and meaty. No unlimited breadsticks here. Instead they have something better. Their bread basket comes with some sort of sundried tomatoes. OMG! So delicious! My main entree was the lasagna. It was quite good and had to bring some home. My friend ordered their rigatoni. She requested it without meat. They were quite accommodating. They also have an extensive wine list. Bottom line if you need a nice place for dinner for a special occasion, date night or birthday, Luci's is your place. Plenty of free parking since it is not near Avalon. If you are staying at the Marriott or the Hilton on Windward, this is a great place to go to if you do not want to stay close by. They also have a separate dining area that could be used for a group dinner or rehearsal dinner. I wish I had not eaten so much because I really wanted to try some of their dessert. They had some of my favorites and my husband's. We will definitely be going back. Put this place on your list! read more

Had an early reservation for 6pm this evening. When we showed up, it was very warm inside and we were actually headed out the door because of the egg heat. The owner was in and changed the temperature lower. We stayed but everything was very slow. Took a while to even get a drink order which took an unusually long time. Noticed trash on the floor in the service area near the kitchen, which is not good time. Brought bread but had no bread plates. Ordered another drink which never arrived. Food was very very good but the service and atmosphere were severely lacking. When the bill arrived it had both my drinks and I requested that they remove the drink that never came and they removed both drinks charges as a courtesy. While food was great, the service and atmosphere was not so much. Sign me, very disappointed. read more

I also ordered a side of fries, just to try them out. Eggs were cooked great, potatoes (came with steak&eggs) were even better. Even the side fries were very good, but the steak ruined the whole meal. VERY bland and you could taste the bitterness from the char. The cut of meat was chewy. I order medium and it came out closer to rare in the center, which was surprising because the outside was burnt. Yeah, I'll have to pass on this one. Never go to Luci's Steakhouse and here's the reason why: The food is low quality, nasty and flavorless. The drinks are highway robbery. $40 for 1 well (bottom shelf) cheap drink. Visited on New Year's Eve for an early dinner. The ambiance is really nice, was excited to try this new restaurant! Overall, the food was delicious! Service was not great, rushed and servers did not want to split the bill for us as a party of 7 (4 checks). With a bill as a couple of about $350 with tip, you expect service to be a little more polite and accommodating. Now let's get to the food! We started with a glass of wine and old fashioned. We then ordered the wagyu meatballs and Caesar salad for our apps. Both were delicious, meatballs were perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the wagyu flavor was very evident. The Caesar salad dressing was awesome and they were not stingy with the dressing. We then ordered the sea bass and rib cap with sides of brussels sprouts and lobster Mac n cheese. The highlight was the rib cap, it was perfectly juicy. I had never tried this cut of meat before and I must say I would order it again in a heartbeat! The sea bass paled in comparison unfortunately. It was decent, but I like a thick cut portion and this was thin and lightly breaded with a lemon cream sauce. The sauce was good. The Brussels sprouts were probably the best I've ever had in a restaurant, they were delicious! The sauce was so good and they had a beautiful caramelization. They were generous with the lobster in the lobster Mac. The sauce had good flavor but was a little thin. We did not get dessert as we were too full, but I did order a citrus gin cocktail, I can't remember the name, but it was very strong!
