I'll start by saying that the food was good! I'm giving 3* for the overall experience. We had a late dinner reservation for 8pm. I was already hungry which added to the annoyance when we weren't sat until 9:30. Two other large parties got sat and a few smaller parties. We mentioned they must have double booked but they said they didn't and people were just lingering. Still thinking they may have double booked. We finally get sat and we asked for bread right away. Didn't get it. Ordered apps and our entrees. Apps came and went. Asked for bread again. Bread finally comes with our entrees. I had the Gorgonzola filet and it was delicious and cooked perfectly. The mashed potatoes I ordered were also delicious. My husband got the lamb and said it was very flavorful and good. His favorite side was the spinach. We would potentially try it again because the food was good, but the service left us very unimpressed.

Visited during Alpa Restaurant Week, which was also our first time at Luci's. Nice atmosphere, and our server and his "team" were very good. Food was also solid, however pretty pricey. Corkage fee of $30 is ok, but they charged us $60 for bringing in a larger bottle. Little annoying. Overall a solid experience; 50/50 that we return.

My family went there for our 25th anniversary. The staff were so friendly and we had a great time. The steak and pasta were really delicious.

Beet and burrata salad

We returned to Luci's and discovered more delicious items. The calamari and seafood fra diavolo pasta were amazing and are must orders- I definitely want to try more of their pastas next. I had the burrata and beet salad again which was great as usual, but unfortunately the portion shrank and pricing went up which was disappointing to see. Now on to the steak- last time, I had the Carrara strip wagyu which was tough and stringy. This time, they replaced the Carrara wagyu with a Japanese A5 Kagoshima wagyu which I was excited to try. Unfortunately, it was so fatty that I couldn't eat more than a couple pieces. I took the rest home as leftovers and took a photo of the refrigerated pieces. Instead of a marbleized steak, it was full of fat chunks- no wonder it was hard to stomach! As much as we love Luci's, I'm giving up on the wagyu choices until they source higher quality wagyu and will stick to my favorites: calamari, brussels, fra diavolo pasta, and burrata salad.

The best steak I've ever had in my life! And I've eaten a lot of steak. The best is here. The Service, impeccable! You don't find old fashioned high class waiters like you do here, I miss it. White table clothes and crumb scrapers. Family style service, we had the asparagus, lobster mac n cheese, the prime cut that our server recommended and the lamb chops. Roll me out!!!

My perfect lemon drop martini before our lobster tail

WINNER!!! We have been 3 times in 30 days and every meal was awesome. Our host Steven is so attentive full of suggestions. It is a REAL restaurant!!! Not just a place to eat. The menu is diverse enough in style and price point so that it does not need to be a special occasion place. It is also nice enough and service levels are impressive enough to BE a special occasion place, which is a wonderful balance. The giant lobster tail finished in a very light tempura style is decadent ...and expensive, but totally worth the splurge. The steaks ( which have clearly become undependable in many locations - quality being very different now than it was in the years pre-Covid ) are not overpriced and are consistently excellent. The restaurant is well designed very fresh - with comfortably appointed private spaces for dinner parties. The anytime any reason place to have dinner.

Pork Chop, Fries and a Peach Mule

Where do I begin about how delectable dinner was at Luci's Steakhouse? Let's start with the bread. It was just the right amount of crust, super soft and absolutely scrumptious. I'll probably have dreams about it :-) Next, I had the best Lemon Drop and a marvelous Peach Moscow Mule! Yummers! Then came a delicious and well seasoned pork chop, cooked to absolute perfection, along with crispy, tasty fries. The ambience was perfect, not too loud, not too quiet, and the service was immaculate. Luci's Steakhouse, I salute you :-)

Delicious food, great service... A little pricey. We sat at the one table that did not have a great lighting. However, we will be back.

This restaurant has been on a list for awhile and I finally had the chance to dine here a few weeks ago. I went on a Sunday and we did have a reservation. The inside is decorated beautifully, definitely a great date night spot. For an appetizer we order the wagyu meatballs which were absolutely amazing! For my entree I ordered the wagyu steak and frites which was good, they will not allow you to substitutes for frites for any other side. My friend ordered the grilled pork chops and mashed potatoes which was very good. Staff was very attentive and friendly. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Oysters Rockefeller. Little oyster on a pile of spinach. Terrible.
Dan D.

Tried it again tonight. Brought my wife the wrong dinner. Then Served me the wrong steak. I ordered a ribeye cap for $90. They brought me something else. Even when it arrived it wasn't seasoned. Oyster Rockefeller app is really bad. Artichoke app was actually very good. Peter the owner is great and we wished it was better than before. Terrible dinner experience. They offered us a free dessert after serving me the wrong steak after 20 minutes- unacceptable. Too many other good options for steak or Italian. I eat out for business very often. Trust me, Go elsewhere. Sorry

Ribeye, NY Strip, Scallops

Amazing service and knowledgeable staff. Very friendly and caring people. Food was excellent and had great portions! Ambiance feels cozy while elevated and upscaled. Perfect for summer days and evening events like date nights, celebrations, or corporate events.

Bread and their beautiful olive oil, and sun-dried tomato dip. Comes on every table.

Our Caesar salad was good but just a standard Caesar, we could've done without it to make room for all the other yummy things! We ended up getting the steak dinner for two which included A5 Wagyu, filet and spinalis. The wagyu was melt in your mouth! Outside the Wagyu, I preferred the filet and my husband preferred the spinalis. The restaurant is a typical upscale steakhouse vibe. Very classy place with good mood lighting and casual music. The bar area was also really nice. It's located in a shopping center so not somewhere you would think you would find a nice restaurant!

The chili was spicy. - French Onion Soup ($15): Just as good as we remembered it from last time. - Tasting for Two ($209): The filet and spinalis were delicious. The first time we went to Bask, the wagyu was exceptional. This time, it was the fattier part of the cut and sadly didn't live up to the hype. Disappointed. - Scallops ($50): Absolutely delicious. The arroz verde cremosa was soo good. Decent portion too. - Seafood Mac & Cheese ($20): Came with lobster and shrimp. Suuuuper good, cheesy, and creamy. - Broiled Asparagus ($15): Seriously amazing. The best asparagus I've ever had. We were celebrating an anniversary and they let us choose a dessert on the house. We got the Cinnamon Roll Bread Pudding (normally $14). Sadly, it was just meh. We got the Colossal Cosmonaut Cookie last time, which was out of this world. Definitely get the cookie and skip the bread pudding.

We were surprised with a birthday card signed by staff and fresh flowers, which was such a thoughtful touch. It was our first time dining at Oak, and our server, Zuri, was fantastic. He took the time to explain the different cuts of steak and recommend some of the most popular sides, which we really appreciated. We started with the bread service. I loved the touch of salt on top of the roll--it was actually my favorite part. For our appetizer, we ordered the calamari, which came with artichokes, cherry peppers, garlic butter, and sweet chili sauce. As someone who loves artichokes, I especially enjoyed those bites, and the overall flavor was good. That said, the sweet chili became a bit overwhelming toward the end of the dish. One additional detail I loved about the calamari was the cheesecloth wrapped around the lemon. It was such a thoughtful touch, and it's the kind of small detail that really elevates the dining experience. For our entrée, we shared the 12 oz. Filet Mignon cooked medium, along with the mac and cheese and the Brussels sprouts and cauliflower (without the red onion, cilantro, or sweet chili). The chef kindly sliced the steak for us, but it arrived a little too rare for my preference. The staff quickly corrected it, and to make up for it, they also brought us a side of cream corn, which was absolutely delicious. Overall, everything tasted great. For dessert, we were treated to a complimentary panna cotta, which was a lovely surprise. We also ordered the S'mores Baked Alaska--a brownie topped with graham cracker and ice cream, covered in meringue, then set ablaze with bourbon. The presentation was amazing and definitely a highlight of the evening. The flavor was good, although it was a bit difficult to cut into, which made it slightly less enjoyable for me. My boyfriend, however, loved it. The ambiance was wonderful. The booth seating felt intimate and comfortable, and I enjoyed the open-kitchen concept. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience. The staff was incredibly kind, the food was delicious, and the thoughtful birthday touches made the evening memorable. I will definitely be back!

Meal started with their market table/salad bar with a very good selection including smoked salmon, prosciutto, hearts of palm, salami, cheeses, artichokes, Brussel sprouts, Mac n Cheese, Black Beans, Rice, soup and more in addition to standard salad bar staples. Fogo de Chao's market table is much larger but this was more than adequate. Meats included filet, picahna, garlic sirloin, chicken, lamb chops, pork loin, spare ribs, shrimp, ribeye, and more but you can only eat so much without bursting open! First, we got the feeling the server was over eager to sell us a bottle of wine. My partner doesn't drink, so he opted for water and I opted for a half bottle. It was a bit pushy, but we payed it no mind. Once brought out and poured, I moved the bottle further as to not accidentally knock it over and I guess by habit closed the bottle, then proceeded to the salad bar. The server came to find me in line to ask why I've moved the bottle, then proceeded to tell me that the wine needs to breathe so he'll re-open the bottle. Personally didn't need a lecture on how wine needs to breathe, I'm well aware, nor do I find it appropriate to chase me down in line over it, but okay I let it go as well and thanked him for his help. Everything else was great, until the check came. I guess there was an issue with the card we used and different server very discretely brought it to our attention. Of course we're embarrassed, but grateful for the discreetness. Mind you, we've been here many times and have never had any issues before, just inadvertently gave an old card. I grabbed my purse to provide a different card and the initial server decided to comment loudly to my partner something about where'd you get lucky enough to find her as if to say women don't pay. I was shocked and mortified! At that point I simply replied that it all comes out of the same accounts anyway, just a different name on the card. The comment was well beyond inappropriate, brought attention unnecessarily, and was absolutely unwarranted. At least we've been together for more than a decade, I can't even imagine if this was someone's first date! We didn't need to offer an explanation, but at that point we just wanted to be done and get out as quickly as possible. We'll likely dine here again, but definitely hope we never come across this particular server again.

We also ordered a bottle of Cabernet sauvignon, which was good. We ordered the mussels appetizer, which was very tasty and served with French fries, also tasty. My husband ordered the steak au poivre, which was full of gristle, so he sent it back. I ordered the Morel pasta dish, which our waitress recommended. This dish was not good at all. The mushrooms were diced tiny with some strange flavor, which I couldn't eat, so I sent this back! My husband then ordered the scallops, which were very good. I ordered the Baratta which came with sourdough bread. The Baratta was good, but there was about a half cup of chopped parsley on the plate, which was very odd. It was like a parsley salad, which is inedible. Parsley should be used as a garnish or a sprinkle as a flavoring, not as a main component like a salad. Save room for dessert!…read more The food at Foundation Eatery was exceptional. As a self-described foodie, I'm always searching for restaurants that offer creative, thoughtfully prepared dishes with plenty of variety. Foundation exceeded every expectation. I ordered every dish the staff recommended, and each one was outstanding. Julio provided attentive, knowledgeable service, and you can tell Chef Mel and his wife, Sandy, have poured their hearts into every aspect of the dining experience. Their attention to detail is remarkable--they genuinely care that every bite is exactly as it should be, and it shows. We started with the Crisp Spanish Octopus and the mushroom ravioli. Julio also suggested adding an order of bread to soak up the incredible sauces, and I'm so glad he did--not a drop was left on the plate. For my entrée, I chose the scallops, and they were cooked perfectly. I even skipped most of the accompanying beans to save room for dessert, which turned out to be one of the best decisions of the night. The blueberry olive cake with blueberry sorbet was phenomenal and the perfect ending to an unforgettable meal. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and refreshingly free of distractions, allowing the food and conversation to take center stage. If you're looking for a memorable dining experience with incredible food, outstanding hospitality, and an environment where every detail matters, Foundation Eatery is a must-visit. I can't wait to come back. PS. I can't believe they have a burger on the menu. I'd try that based on everything else!

Lots of options for those who love the fishery part of the concept and just as many choices for those that don't. We ordered the bruschetta and enjoyed their take that used fig jam, prosciutto and balsamic glaze instead of the more traditional tomato base. They have house made focaccia that when brought to the table we instantly regretted having ordered the bruschetta, thinking we overdid the bread thing. But we both quickly changed our minds and consumed both with little guilt... I would go back just for the focaccia alone and wish they sold it by the loaf! My chop was perfectly grilled and moist. I asked for the marsala sauce on the side since I don't like mushrooms themselves, but enjoy the flavor they can add. We opted to sit at the bar which I do NOT recommend if you plan on eating. It is extremely tight seating and the bartenders aren't not trained to serve food or have menu knowledge. The lack of the kitchen staff culinary skills became evident when looking at the menu with many seafood/pasta items being served with one sauce- a goopy cornstarch'ish lemon butter sauce. We wanted to try the scampi appetizer with their house made pasta - sans dairy which meant no lemon butter sauce. That seemed to throw a wrench and there was much back and forth between the BT to the kitchen explaining what that meant aka do not cook the food with butter use olive oil- not so complicated, right? 30 minutes later - despite the kitchen staff not being busy- reminder, we are sitting at the bar and watch the cooks looking at their cellphones instead of working... The small portion of a couple shrimp and scallops arrive. They were panned seared- highly seasoned but tasty. Pasta arrived dry ? Huh? Who serves dry pasta- ugh? I asked for olive oil again which never appeared despite a manager hearing the request. So, moving along, we decided to try the calamari. It came out much faster but the portion was enough for 8-10 people. BT- oh, I forgot to tell you it is such a large portion... Maybe offer a half portion? It was okay- nothing amazing except the quantity. So disappointed- we had high hopes that the vibe matched the food quality.
