My husband and I decided to stop here since most places were closed in the area and this was close to our hotel... unfortunately they were short staffed so service was bad. The food was some of worst I've had in a very long time. I had the Chicago style Italian beef and my husband had the wings and queso fries. The sandwich was seriously disgusting!! It was chewy and the fermented veggies on top made it even nastier if that was even possible. The fries were edible but the wings had a thick blubbery skin that was soft instead of crispy. If you find yourself in the area after 8pm I recommend saving your money and going to bed hungry. read more

The lake views were gorgeous, even frozen over. Food was super yummy! I got the fried chicken sandwich which was so juicy and delicious. Hubby got the lamb bacon burger and said it packed great flavor as well. These guys definitely take pride in their restaurant and brewery. Highly recommend and will be back for more! Beautiful location over looking Georgetown lake. Their house beers were good, but that's where anything good about visiting this brewery ends. The service was extremely slow, even tho the staff to table ratio was well in favor of the staff. Waitress got my order wrong and then let us sit there and wait for at least 20 mins before checking in on us once. When she finally did come back she was short and rude. We just got an appetizer because of poor service and it was 6 tator tots for $8. They were bland and had hardly any ingredients that were listed in it to boast price point. Head down a little farther down I-70 and you will find way better good options In Idaho Springs. Manager Missy was really nice and helpful tho. read more

This place is in a great location right off of 70. Juanita was our server and she was great. We also met one of the owners who took the time to make the rounds talk to tables about their experience which I appreciated a lot. We have been waiting for this place forever and are sooo happy it's here! Our second time and just...wow! The service is unbelievable!! Our servers have always been amazing .... Juanita was amazing tonight! Amit (the owner) has taken unbelievable care and attention to all of the operations and service of this restaurant- I am sure the hotel will be the same!!!!! We have had both IPA's, the Triple, and then also the Old Fashioned. The food.. WOW!!! We had the pull apart biscuits, both tots, the portobello mushroom burger and the prosciutto pizza. I WOULD HAVE GIVEN THIS PLACE A ONE but last year when we went here the first time the food and service was great. We go to Georgetown once a summer to fish. This cute spot is right on the lake. We were here last week for the second time. We ordered, server was polite, son ordered a medium burger. Food came out without burger at first, husband ordered a beer at that time. The server was a little rude but I brushed it off because she seemed fine at the beginning. The burger came out about five min after the other food and was burnt. Server came to see how it was and my son told her he couldn't eat it (he ordered a medium and my husband confirmed at the time of ordering ). She had an attitude and said "when it's ordered well done this is what it comes out." He said no he ordered it medium and the server confirmed. She left to put that order in to have it remade. She came back and said "I put the order in but just to let you know it will probably be the same since you ordered a medium well," and left as I was like "no he ordered a medium." I had to find a different person to talk to the cook to make sure they got the order right. Burger comes out after we are done eating. I guess I should have talked to the manager at that time instead of tipping 4.50 for a 50 dollar bill but that is what we did. The waitress looked away as my husband put in the amount. Not sure what the point of that was because she then said "really! You're going to tip me 4.50 for a 50 dollar bill. You're suppose to tip at least 20 percent!" She then placed the card down on the table and said have a good day. I talked to a few people and they said she's lucky she got that. Did some research and I guess you're still supposed to give 20% for bad service!!!? Well next time I know better and will talk to management. read more

Went last night and they had limited staff and menu. The service was excellent and the chicken Alfredo pizza was superb we also had a Caesar salad that was great! Also had an oatmeal stout that was one of the best I have ever had. You would have never known that they had limited staff. read more

No mistaking, this is a brewery. Eat before you come since the food is frozen, microwaved. Equal attention to the food as well as the brew would benefit greatly. So very sad. I was stoked to have a restaurant in Georgetown. Stick with the local fare in Old Town. read more

I enjoy drinking craft beer and am by no means an aficionado, but of all the breweries my friend and I stopped at along the I-70 mountain corridor, Cabin Creek was our favorite. The beer was great, the food was delicious, our server was amazing, and the atmosphere was perfect for a relaxed day of brewery-hopping. I have to give special props to their brand manager Marc as well for going above and beyond to send me a new pint glass when I discovered that by the weirdest of accidents that the one I brought home didn't have a logo printed on it. 2 stars given because we liked the beer. We did not know until we were seated that the menu was extremely limited for lunch, including no kids menu, which was an issue with our 3 young children. I could not find it later anywhere on the website that the full menu was not available for lunch. The service from our waiter was poor. Not helpful when asked questions, rarely checked on us, and I ended up going to the bar myself for drink refill. I really want to support local establishments especially when traveling, but this establishment made our lunch difficult, not easier with children. I was disappointed. Worst dining experience in ages. We're seated 10 minutes before I asked if we had a server. Then they acted like we were out of line, the server came up and said he didn't know he had a table. So, obviously not our fault. Could have been solved quickly if he was the slightest bit sorry. Had to ask for silverware, was short taking our order, screwed the order up. I would seriously understand if our server was busy, but he had 2 tables. Food was fine, nothing to get excited about. Beer was good and would go back for more. Went here a few weeks ago, and can not recommend it enough!! I was telling our waitress how excited I was that they had opened and loved their view/location - perfect from coming back from hikes/ski days- and she started talking about their opening process during COVID/how they supported a local restaurant by allowing them to take over their kitchen for a bit when theirs was out of commission. Such a great community/supportive feel! However, they have the full menu out now, and the pizza/apps/salads were all great! After hearing about how enthusiastic I was about having found the place, the owner then came out and talked to me, explaining the story of how he had bought and built the place, some of the tables included.... Even brought some samples out so I could try them and be ready for ordering next time! Each beer was unique and I'd be happy ordering any of them again. Finally got a chance to try Cabin Creek on Sunday, and while we unfortunately missed their early morning yoga class, we enjoyed some amazing cold craft beer in the sun on their phenomenal patio overlooking the lake. The Thai Chicken and Ranch Chicken pizzas were both exceptional, but the staff and level of service is probably what impressed me the most. The owner even came by to insure that we'd gotten everything we needed and to confirm that we'd be back. If you're in the area I'd highly recommend you stop in and check them out. read more

Had a party of 6, told us to wait 30 minutes and proceeded to seat multiple 4-tops in front of us at a table that could've fit us or combined tables. 45 minutes to get seated and over an hour after to get our food. This place is great! Came during Oktoberfest and had some great German-inspired beer. The pizza is awesome! Wood-fired, great cheese and plenty of pepperoni. Since the opening of Cabin Creek Brewery I have been there several times. During these COVID times, most of my experience has been to go pick up. I do believe they do a good job on their beers, and their food is good too. I am writing here because I could not find a "contact us" on their website. Over the past about 5 months, I have probably gotten 8 pizzas from there. In general, pretty darn good. I have, however, noticed a dip in the quality of the pies of late. It has me wondering if it is really them or me. A pie I got yesterday seems to be made with just a little less love, as cheese/toppings didn't make it close enough to the edges leaving a greater crust ratio than there should be. But if I really wanted to get technical, I could say that the best pie I ever got out of there was the first one. Great crust, sauce, and cheese. Early on, the cheese was an obvious high quality 100% whole milk Mozzerella goodness. It seems as if that has been phased out and the cheese seems a bit more "typical" and not the special goodness. I would love to see a response from them as to my cheesy suspicions. Thanks, John D. read more
